This place is amazing. I just googled printers in Portland because I wanted to put my resume on nice paper for the first time in my life. I was unsure about what I was even doing and Bethany was so kind to me even though I’m most definitely not their typical print job. I really appreciated not being made to feel silly for just wanting 3 copies of a resume :) they also have an office cat and dog that are very friendly and sweet! Thank you !

Anders is absolutely amazing. I came in with drafts from my designer and they made them a reality. All the details that I never would have known, were taken care of by their design team. They helped me make my vision a reality, and my invitations look better than I ever could have hoped! Working with them was such a pleasure, I will be going back when it’s time for menus, programs, etc.

I have been working with Brandon to create marketing collateral for my business, Bridge Nine Candle Co. Not only are his designs wonderful and in line with the vision of my business he is timely and professional, something that is hard to find these days. I can’t wait to work with him more to build my business!

I recently had invitations as well as some highlight cards made for an event. They were beautiful. Several guests who were invited called to ask me where I had my invitations printed. I worked with Meghan. Meghan was patient as we worked through the many options on paper, color, font, etc. She made some suggestions that added to the beauty of the finished product («baby pockets» to hold all the extras that went in with the invitation) without making us feel pressured. Meghan also helped us think through wording so that it best fit the mood we were aiming for. Our electronic proof came back to us within a week, the hard copy proof a few days later and the finished product was perfect! You might save money by shopping online but you will not get the same level of personalized product. I will return to Anders for sure.

Brandon and the team really came through for me on a last minute project. I needed custom cut business cards done and in the hands of our Chief Officer by end of day Friday and these guys made it happen! Brandon even delivered the goods to make things super convenient. Did I mention this project was thrown their way just that afternoon? Everyone was thrilled with their service and quality of work! Thanks for all your hard work and pushing out stellar product.

I waited 2 and ½ weeks before calling to find out if my proofs were ready. When I did, I was sent an email with an image that was NOT what had been talked about at all. I then had to go over the detail again, and was told the OWNER NEVER SUPPLIED the photo or information that I had originally given. And this was after speaking originally with the owner from the start.
After recieving the correct proof, I then went in to finalize it. Again to add to my FRUSTRATION the font I had asked for was not used, and when I asked to go over it in more detail, the employee agreed she knew what to do. I came back a second time to find it was not correct. They were apologetic to fix the small errors, that could have been AVOIDED if the employee didn’t act as though I was a WASTE OF HER TIME. I was then offered envelopes and card stock at no charge. I originally supplied them. So that was a helpful offer, & I returned what I had purchased.
I returned to retrieve my order, which turned out beautiful. I then proceeded to work on the final detail at home. To add to my FRUSTRATION AGAIN, I only had 39 out of the 40 cards I had purchased from them. I called, with this small detail of neglect, and was told the last copy had been used in their store for display. Okay, that’s great but I ordered 40. It was a holiday weekend, almost closing time & I then had to wait until the following week to return to their store to pick up th last one.
When I returned the LAST TIME, I sat with the owner to express my FRUSTRATION, STRESS, & DISSATIFACTION. I stated I WOULD NOT USE THEIR SERVICES AGAIN. LOOSING my images. The simplicity that her employee treated me like I was WASTING her time. Attention to detail. Supplying me SHORT of what I had ordered. Total time waiting for invitations was well over a month. These were NOT just baby invitations, but announcements. Not only was I waiting, but it kept my friends & family waiting. The owner then offered to make thank you cards at NO CHARGE. She wrote down all the detail, date of shower and really made me feel like she was CONCERNED and SADDENED by all the HASSLE. She then PROMISED to have the cards mailed and or ready by this date and APOLOGIZED for all the MISTAKES which were partly hers.
I now have called about 2 MONTHS later to check on and retrieve my «beautiful» thank you cards… I was really HESITANT… And I had a thought, I was not going to hear what was promised. Sure enough! Are you kidding me! AGAIN, here it goes again… Refresh my memory. She says… Oh, can you email the details again? She says… When was the shower? She says… I don’t know where I put the info. She says…
I personally spoke with you, the owner. You wrote it all down, you promised me. This is ridiculous. I’m done. If you can’t find it, or remember any of this, forget it.
I should have expected it, I partially did. Just goes to show, this business is incapable of simple tasks and appreciation of their customers.

We used Anders for our wedding invitations and thank you cards after being referred by a friend. They have beautiful designs that were perfect for us, and much more affordable than most. It was nice getting invites locally and talking to people in a cute shop rather than online stores or generic invite shops.
We did have a problem with something that was missed on the invitation and printed wrong despite our initial correction. Invariably there is going to be something that doesn’t go perfectly once in a while. What made Anders stand out was their response and customer service when this occurred. I took the invitations home before I realized the error (it was very small and almost did not matter), and they were closed by the time I called. The owner called me back very quickly after I left message. They were quick to offer options and go out of their way to make it right. Silly little things can easily stress you out when planning a wedding, but Anders did their best to make it easy. It is the way a company handles things when they do not all go perfectly that really makes a difference.

These guys a great local find! Their prints are beautiful and they work with you to meet and exceed your goals for what you need. Go here. Srsly. :)

I recently used Anders for our wedding save-​the-​dates and invitations. They receive 3 stars because we love the design and appreciated the variety of styles they offer, particularly a lot of styles that are fun, more geometrical, and not super fancy (though they have fancy ones of course). We also really liked the variety of print options, and the send-​and-​seal option we chose fit well for us. We ended up loving our design and feel that it is a high quality product at a reasonable price. And a local printing institution? Great!
Unfortunately we had several issues with the invitation proofs due to what seemed like very simple errors on Anders’ end. The first proof we received was not our address data, but completely some other client’s data! Then, it took 3 more times to get the proofs correct (guest addresses that we correctly entered into their excel spreadsheet according to their directions), including fixing one error those 3 times. Certainly I understand that mistakes happen and the designer I worked with corrected the problems and was courteous the whole time, which I appreciated. But it seemed like either the data merge system they have in place didn’t work well or it the designer was having difficulty using the program. Very confusing.
If that wasn’t all, once I got the printed invitations one invitation was completely missing, even though it was in the final proof! It just seems like a lot of errors for a relatively small and straight-​forward job. Personally, I would not use them again for other printing needs due to so many mistakes we experienced. I recommend starting this process early and being really on top of every step to prevent and prepare for such mistakes.

The customer experience I had printing my wedding invitation with Anders deserves two stars. The fact that I really liked the results of the printing earns them a third, and the fact that they «made it right» makes me a fan at four stars. The designer I worked with was very junior and a bit sloppy; they are also a bit loose with deadlines, so start your orders early! And if I hadn’t worked for a design firm for the past 4 years, I probably would have been a lot more frustrated with the tedious back-​and-​forth process. But brides, this is how design works! So you should expect to be patient and very thorough in the review process. Take the time to have a friend do a proof too, just in case you’ve looked at it too many times.
Our invitations were beautiful and very affordable, but after three extra proofs (because the designer was making dumb errors) it was really frustrating to have 25% of our envelope liners NOT glued down. I got out a glue stick and finished them myself, because it wasn’t worth the time and energy to have them re-​done. When I contacted the owner to tell her about my not-​so-​great experience, she was very understanding and offered to give me a 15% refund of my total order. I thought this was very fair and appropriate, so if you have a frustrating experience with one of the designers, just call the owner and I bet she will take care of it!

If you don’t care when your order gets done, go for it. I have to admit the printing itself is not the issue. I was happy with the look and print of the final product. However, I did not get my order until 3 business days after we agreed it would be ready. Unfortunately once the process started I felt as if I had to walk them through every step to make sure it would get done. Proofs were late, emails were not responded to. When I called to make sure I could finally pick up my order (3 days after it was supposed to be done) the guy on the other line couldn’t find it anywhere and said he’d call me back. The day before someone had told me it would be done first thing that morning. An hour later, no call back. I called again, they said they just started printing it. I needed the order 3 days ago so when I showed up they were literally still scrambling to print it and put everything together as I waited. They made me late for my event and the prints late as well. For that they gave me a whole 10% discount. I let the owner know of my dissatisfaction and she contacted me to apologize and left me a nice voicemail. I returned her call but never heard back. I sense a theme here. I always try to support local business but was extremely disappointed in this one. Honestly, the people there seem great in person but I think there is a huge breakdown in communication somewhere along the line that is putting their customer service at an extremely unprofessional level.

Anders is AMAZING! I had my wedding invitations designed and printed by Anders in the fall of 2005. First of all, my interactions with the designer from start to finish were nothing short of professional and heart-​warming as they were attentive to my vision and needs. My invitations were unique and somewhat complicated to design, print and assemble. THEY WERE GORGEOUS! Not only did I have Anders do my invites, they also designed and printed my save-​the-​date cards, RSVP cards, map to the venue, etc. They created a self-​contained package which had to be cut, folded, adhered and mailed… in 250+ invitations, there was not a flaw to be found. Though I utilized their services many years ago, the icon the designer created as the centerpiece theme throughout our wedding, has become a sort of personal icon for my husband and I. It can be found in little ways throughout our home décor and I even included it on a homemade baby announcement for our daughter when she was born in October, 2007. Anders has a special place in my heart and I would wholeheartedly recommend their services to make your special day or any other occasion stand out and be remembered.

Do not patronize Anders! My first interactions with them were great; that is, until they got my business… I ordered wedding invitations, and was given a contract with a specific date of completion. When I called on that date to confirm pick-​up, I was told that they hadn’t even started on them!!! We had to completely change the RSVP date on our invitations by two weeks, as we were too far gone to choose another printer. The only positive comment I can make is how apologetic they were on the phone, but proceeded to blame their designer for being a poor communicator. What a waste of time and money. I ended up with essentially what I wanted, but they made it very clear that they do things when they feel like it… very frustrating and unprofessional.

I’ve had the good fortune of working with Anders on various projects for the better part of a year, not as a groom but as a print designer. While I find their work in the latter department to be beautiful, it’s their printing quality, cost and level of customer service that matters to me. And I’m happy to report that they have proven stellar in each of those categories. Both their traditional offset and digital printing are of very high quality (I’ve found their digital pieces to be nearly as sharp and impacting as their offset pieces), their prices are always competitive and often the cheapest option available, and their staff have been very responsive in getting responses, quotes and proofs to me in a timely manner. I’m proud to call Anders my go-​to printer.

We used them for our wedding invites. They had tons of samples for us to check out at their office. It’s great to be able to handle samples, get a feel for the paper, and see what other folks have done. There’s a great variety, and you can customize whatever you want.

I looked to Anders Printing to do my wedding invites and I couldn’t be more pleased with the final results. I am a designer so I wanted to design the invites myself and they were very willing to accommodate this request by providing me with the proper templates and offer color suggestions. The entire process from start to finish was painless and Jill & Susan were extremely helpful and accommodating. Not only is the print quality of the invites great, but the turnaround time was amazing. I handed over my files on Tuesday afternoon, and my invites were ready for pickup on Thursday! I will continue to use Anders Printing as my go-​to printer.

This place is top shelf from head to toe. I am very picky and detail-​oriented, and Jill and Lisa were patient and willing to help me build my perfect wedding invitations every step of the way. , and was disappointed with the quality and lack of customer service. I went to this local shop with the hope that I wouldn’t be as disappointed with my wedding invitations. I’m in a printing business (marketing), and had high expectations when I took my wedding invites to Anders. But my Unilocalers never ever let me down. A good friend had designed our invitations and I simply took them in on a CD. A week later, I got to see a proof, and a few days after that, blam, 100 absolutely perfect cards. From the suggestion of stock and color to make the design pop, to the price, to the amazing service, this IS the place to have your invitations done. They have designers to help you if you aren’t blessed with a talented, Mac-​savvy friend, and can help you round out the package with RSVP cards and envelopes.

after looking through books and books of wedding invitations, and not finding anything I REALLY liked, I decided to go the custom route. in doing so, and using Anders, I actually spent less than I would have on a typical invitation.
I worked with Rachael, who helped guide me towards graphic options and different fonts that would work well together. even though I picked the graphic, fonts and colors, she put everything together flawlessly and she was such a pleasure to work with.
the turnover time was also really fast and I was thrilled with the final product. I really loved having such and unique and beautiful wedding invitation.

We designed our own wedding invitations which we printed out at Kinko’s (hey.they turned out great.) but we had a mishap with the envelopes. Through internet research we found Ander’s Printing and they were a complete lifesaver.
Not only did they help us print out exactly the envelopes that we wanted, they actually went above and beyond by suggesting ways we could improve the design (for free) and other extras that ended up really putting the finishing touches on our invitations.
Rachael added an extra flower graphic to the envelope and designed cards to seal the envelopes that made the whole thing look better than anything I saw in the wedding brochures. And for a WHOLE lot less money. We will be going back to Anders for our Menu and Program printing.
