Beautiful gallery! We’ve been meaning to pick up some local pieces since we moved a few months ago and finally made our way to Alberta. There’s a good variety of styles, colors and sizes by different local artists. We settled on an awesome print by Ben Kehoe who funny enough, is a Pittsburgh based artist. Lots to choose from and the service was great. Easy 5 star!

This gallery was adorable. I love how on one side you could find merchandise that was for sale, but that there was a couple of rooms with walls splattered in art as well. The prices were kind of high, but the owner has excellent taste in what he allows in his gallery. Honestly if I was much better in the art world I would probably charge higher prices for my merchandise as well. It is a pleasurable and highly recommended stop if you’re cruising the Alberta arts district at any point.

Not a friendly place. The owner seems to have a small stump stuck between his cheeks. Not too speculative on the rationale, but I would recommend skirting his gallery.

Antler is a pleasant little Gallery within the Alberta Arts District. I was particularly taken with the small back room, including the wall hangings and the hand made letter press journals. The front room was nice too and it was fun to linger at the table in the middle, but wonder at the same time, how these fantastic creative places stay in business. I signed the guest book, so maybe that’s my start for future involvement.

Great little gallery in the arts district. Greeted by a very friendly and chatty dude(Owner, I assume?) that talked about some pieces individually, as well as local artists in the area whose pieces they show. You could tell he was genuinely passionate about local art and was quite informative. Picked up a great little print on a wood block by a local artist, and got my dog fix from Duncan, a wonderful sap of a basset hound.

Neil and Susannah are shining examples of what makes Portland such an amazing town for art and community! Their little gallery space on Alberta and the amazing artists whose work they curate each month are exactly the kinds of hidden gems that make arts and art culture so valuable to the development of our society. Go see them on Last Thursday and every weekend!
