Apas House Bed and Breakfast

We had a great stay with Lisa at Apas. Lisa is a very interesting person and the B & B is very well maintained. Lots of good places to walk in the area, including a few bars and restaurants, and Mt. Tabor Park for hiking trails. Lisa makes really nice breakfasts, has a beautiful garden and yard, and we would definitely stay there again.

I was in desperate need for some solo time… looking for a home away from home to rejuvenate & breathe. I came across this gem and knew I was at the perfect place the moment I walked in to this beautiful B & B. Lisa welcomed me with such warmth… it felt as though I just walked into a friends home. This home is immuculate & filled with such great energy. I stayed in the Sage room which was very comfortable & lovely. The breakfast was incredible… i still think about it from time to time & even attempted to make the gluten free oatmeal Lisa made us but it wasn’t near as delicious! The Apas house is the perfect place to stay whether you are in town or from out of town. You are within walking distance to the best restuarants (Woodsmen Tavern, Pok Pok & Ava Genes are some of my favorites). I plan to have a yearly «mommy make-​over» at the Apas House… I can’t wait for my next staycation!

Big ups to Lisa for making an elegant, cozy, celiac-​safe B&B experience. It’s rare to find a truly clean kitchen when traveling with celiac disease, so I highly recommend this place to all gluten-​free travelers.
The location is good, peaceful residential streets with plentiful parking, and close to Mt Tabor. The rooms are comfortable and beautiful. I loved having a yard to hang out in and fresh, home grown vegetables in our breakfast.
Lisa is a charming host, familiar with the city, astute about recommendations, and her dog is a delight! I look forward to visiting again next time I’m in Portland.

This was our first time at a b&b, and we loved it! The house was absolutely beautiful and so clean. Every morning Lisa made us a wonderful breakfast! She contacted us before our stay to ask us what we liked and if we had any food allergies. She was a wonderful hostess! She had great recommendations and her puppy was so precious!
