Barbur Storage

Very nice folks, very helpful and full of resources … just not full of storage space. This is clearly «THE» place to go, and everybody has already gone there. On one hand its great to see a business doing well, on the other they had no space available. The associate I worked with was very sympathetic and helpful with other local storage places and a list of companies to load and unload and where to take donations and stuff, but has a waiting list with little hope of space available when I need it. The facility is a little hard to get to, and not much parking, but I think it’s worth it if they can accommodate you.

Barbur Storage is, honestly, the best storage facility I have ever worked with. They have a state-​of-​the-​art camera and security system installed, that is constantly monitored. The staff is extremely helpful and accessible and they even have a workspace with free wifi available during business hours.
I would not hesitate to recommend Barbur Storage and only Barbur Storage to anybody in the market for a storage space.

This is one of the best storage units I have used in all of my moves in various parts of the country.
The staff, and owners, are super friendly. I moved a 3 bedroom house to Portland, with my apartment being about 650 square feet and the rest into storage. I was able to sell a lot of my stuff through Craig’s List (another advantage of this storage business is its location. People who met me at my unit to buy my items had no problem finding it). They allowed me to move all my stuff into a smaller unit, and it was really a seamless process.
The building is always clean, its very secure, and carts are always available for moving things from your car to your unit.
They also offer wireless internet on site, and a variety of other services. I purchased the lock I use on my storage unit from them at a reasonable price. They offer auto deduction of the monthly rental fee as well, so its all very simple.
