I have been trying to locate the owner of this place for years – She gave me credit for a returned dresser for $ 365 and is nowhere to be found. If you have any idea how to find her please let me know! That’s a lot of coffee and donuts!

Donna Derington, owner of Bella Norte, took my furniture on consignment, sold it, and pocketed the money. Now she has gone out of business. supposedly filing bankruptcy. I would not deal with her ever again and I now am hesitant to ever consign anything again!

Love this store! I recently discovered Bella Norte and I found so many things that I’ve been looking for! I happen to love Antique shop’s and this one is at the top of my list! The store has a really nice vibe, the owners is lovely super sweet and spent a lot of time showing me around the store and sharing her vast knowledge of antique’s and where her things came from… all of this I greatly appreciated! If you love vintage clothes, she had a great selection… all be back!

This is an antique store with a lot of really unique, interesting items. The women that run the shop are the reason I will probably not go back. I have been into this shop twice. The first time was pleasant enough; however, one of the shopkeepers was definitely not friendly or personable. It was obvious to me that the shopkeepers were the owners. The other shopkeeper was very friendly and quite lovely to deal with. The second time I went to this shop, I had a very poor experience. The shop was having a sale and had apparently come into a lot of old clothes and fabric. The sale was amazing IF it was what it advertised it was. It was disorganized at best. I found several items that I wanted. One of the pieces of clothing I found and had in my hand examining it. The shopkeeper that was previously rude came by, abruptly grabbed the dress out of my hands and told me that although the dress was hanging on the sale rack, it had not been marked and was not part of the sale. She quoted me a very high price and waltzed off with the item. I was put off by her behavior and decided it was time to leave with the other items I had chosen. If I didn’t have a few other items I really wanted, I would have left empty handed. I got to the cashier, who was the other shopkeeper and the rude shopkeeper was close by. As my items were being rung up, it seems that I had chosen ANOTHER dress that had not been marked, was on their sale rack and was actually much higher priced. This news was delivered to me mainly by the rude shopkeeper with no apology or negotiation. It appears that the customer is NEVER right at this store even when the shop has made the mistake. It also appears that there isn’t much concern for creating an environment that makes for loyal and return customers. I will not return here, not even for free dresses. I must say that I truly did appreciate the kindness of one of the two shopkeepers, but the rude one ruined it for the store. I’ll give my money to shops that take care of their customers.
