Rearview Mirror

As new residents to this neighborhood, my sweetie and I discovered this little shop after eating brunch at Beaterville Café, which is right next door. This is a smallish shop with a decent selection of knick-​knacks from previous eras. You’ll find lots of interesting housewares such as ashtrays, tea sets, and serving dishes, as well as some larger items for the home such as lamps & chairs. They also have some great old movie posters and other artwork, as well as an occasional piece of contemporary artwork from a local artist. What really makes me come back, though, is that the co-​owner and clerk, Theresa Hinchman, has extensive knowledge and a passion for the items they carry at the shop and has helped me gain an appreciation for items that at first glance I had dismissed as something my grandmother might have owned. I definitely plan on returning regularly to see what other interesting things come into the shop so I can grab them before someone else does!
