Tiny little bar at Jantzen beach. It has a nice feel despite seating right in front of the video pokerachine. Decent drinks, all the bartenders are great. Food wise it’s only here to satisfy the minimum requirements to serve alcohol so skip that part and you be fine.

The last review lied… it’s a lotto shack… Even the bartender said it would be better to leave than to eat the food.

I think the last review was right on, rough local crowd but its great for what it is.

This is a small bar in a strip of bars that hosts a slew of video poker and generally scummy people. This particular bar seems to be a favorite of the local house boat crowd and is often filled with regulars. Unlike their counter parts they do not tolerate the riff raff with a posted sign that says«no tweekers» that they actually abide by. The service is always good and the drinks are worth it!

First off– there’s nothing Mexican about this place. It’s a bar, full of smoke and country music and video poker machines. BUT it’s the best bar on Hayden Island, with cheap, good drinks and a great group of very loyal regulars. The staff are funny and will remember you after two or three visits. The thing I love about this place is the way it represents all uf us who live out here– the millionaire sitting next to the car thief sitting next to the gay guy sitting next to the republican– and everyone’s having a good time. I find most of the other places on the Island too boring(Stanford’s, Newport Bay) or so full of tweekers it’s not even fun(Bradley’s! Yikes!) The food could be a little better, yeah, but deep fried yummies will get you through the night… and the bloody marys will be there for you in the morning!
