See original review and reply for explanation: Thank you so much Central Alarm for looking into this matter and helping me correct my dates of service. I don’t want to be inaccurate in my report. You are absolutely correct. Two weeks after the battery replacement I did in fact have you all back for the key fob hookup. That visit had been decided from the first visit, we just had to wait for the key fob to arrive, which took two weeks. I was mistaken on the date of the additional two false alarms from the faulty wireless component that supposedly only needed a battery on ⁸⁄₂₇. It was in fact the end of September– I too looked through my records for the CITY CITATION, for two false alarms, that I received in the mail when I got back from my two week vacation that spanned the last week of Sept. through the first week of Oct. 2013… The company I had originally install the alarm was thought to be out of business, therefore I never called them for repairs. The company I used before central alarm, I used once to replace the main backup battery, and subsequently didn’t use again because he was too difficult to reach and seemed too busy with his ‘lock’ business. That’s when I called Central Alarm and asked if you worked on Napco systems, and was told yes, therefore had you all come out for the wireless component repair. So, don’t have someone other than the original installers try to repair a home alarm system that they claim to work on? Lesson learned there, but not a lot of choice when they are reported to have closed their doors. But after this tough lesson with Central Alarm, something in my gut told me to try to call my original installers, maybe even write a letter begging help… and what do you know… they in fact never went out of business; and to their utter shock I showed them the search websites that were reporting them as out of business. I’m just so ecstatic they’re still around and were able to fix the problem that «others» weren’t able to. As to my review 9 months later– I have the right to leave a review anytime I’d like. I don’t jump on Unilocal everyday, or month. I get to it when I get to it.

We’ve been customers of Central Electronic for 20 yrs and they have provided excellent customer service and follow up. They are reasonably priced and have worked with us on various remodel projects and system upgrades over the years.
