I decided to leave a review in case someone wanted to give this place a try, thinking something may have changed since the old reviews. Still 1 star. The food is really bad. I came in hungry and couldn’t eat the food on my plate because it was bland and very cheap tasting. I ordered from the combo menu and asked to sub beef in place of chicken. The charge was $ 2. When the plate came out, I was immediately disappointed in the portion size, mainly because the dinners were a little high at $ 11 (plus $ 2 for beef instead of chicken). AND they do NOT include soup! I have never heard of such a thing. Also, the place looked dirty. There was no one else eating in the restaurant and the phone was not ringing. There were people in the lottery room.
In summary; bad food, high prices, dirty.

Its was horrible, go to Safeways and get their Chinese instead.

I can’t say I’ve eaten in here, but been in to take-​out enough to realize their source of income probably is the desperate looking people playing the lottery machines in the back to support their drug habit.
The food is cheap. It’s also greasy to the point of being revolting (and I have a strong stomach and love greasy food.) If I were forced to recommend something here, I’d be in a tough spot because I can’t in good conscience name anything I’ve had which I consider to be close to edible.

Got sick as a dog from eating at this place. Avoid at all costs…

Thus place used to be pretty good before that got their lottery machines, now it’s unedible and just gross! Dirty and horrible service, haven’t eaten there on years and won’t ever again

Gave this place a shot hoping to find some secret gem in Milwaukie. This wasn’t it. Man behind counter was «busy» with his paper and seemed to want me to hurry with my to go order. Got upset when I only wanted one entrée (?), and was annoyed when I said I’d go play a few dollars in the slot room since he quoted me 10 – 15 minutes on my order. Well I’m not just gonna sit there on my phone.
The man behind the counter was also the cook. A horrible one at that. It was all just meh. Nothing stood out.
Will not be returning.

I have to agree with the previous reviewers. We’ve eaten there over the last few years, usually as take-​out and because it’s close and convenient. But I’ve had to ask the spouse to not pick up food there again. The place is dirty, for starters. And that’s just the front — can’t imagine what the kitchen looks like, which you can’t see, but through the doorway you can see boxes and old junk stacked up. Just like behind their main counter. Nothing looks clean. And there’s vitamin bottles and such. Weird. The tables are sticky. Everything just looks old and worn out, and dirty. I get a little queasy just looking at the place before I even eat the food.
The food — well, it’s not consistent. Sometimes a dish we like will be really good and actually taste fresh. Next time we get it, it just tastes like old oil and no flavor. And it’s not super cheap or anything, so it’s not worth the trade off to take a cut in quality.
I’m guessing they make enough money on their lounge and lotto that they don’t really care about making the restaurant special.

Not as good as it used to be, something is different. The owners are SUPER friendly so I hate to give a bad review, but the food did not seem fresh or prepared well. We won’t be going back.

Ok. I hardly ever review restaurants because I’m just not very picky. But… Seriously skip this one. Crab puffs stale. Egg rolls had this weird hard crust on the outside of the actual egg roll wrappers and the stale fried rice looked like they threw some chopped up (cold) BBQ pork in it… No egg, no peas, no carrots, no onion, no flavor. I used more soy sauce at this place than I have in the last year. Did I mention the service was awful and the creepy people playing the slots from the bar were wandering about the restaurant scaring my daughter? To top it off… our fortune cookie had no fortune in it!
