I made a visit to this store today only to find a unique eclectic gems! The prices are reasonable and the people who work there are friendly and very knowledgeable. I can understand why designers shop there! A must see for those with exquisite taste!

The best furnishings consignment shop in Portland. I purchased a 1930s home in Sellwood two years ago. Some rooms of the house are original and some are renovated. I’ve been able to furnish much of the entire house with very high quality furnishings(at a fraction of the cost) by consistently shopping at the Consignment Gallery. I’ve been to numerous consignment shops and antiques shops but this is my favorite. The women who own the store and those who work for them are very knowledgeable and lovely. Heather, one of the owners, is a character and very no-nonsense. She’s great. If you understand consignment shopping then you know that you must consistently visit in order to find the«perfect» piece. Many interior designers know this and I see them time and again at the Consignment Gallery. You will find high end items, antiques, contemporary items, unique pieces, original art and a few mass produced pieces(which rarely look that way). The items are VERY gently used for the most part. These women only sell items they would want in their own homes. One of the best parts of consignment shopping with these ladies is that if you decide you no longer want something, you will always have a consignment store to bring it to!

This is by far my favorite consignment shop in the city! I’ve moved a LOT of furniture in and out of this place – most of it high-end stuff. And Heather(owner) always moves it. It’s sort of amazing that she does and can. I’ve also bought some fabulous stuff there, modern designer stuff as well as classic. I think this place is fair, honest, she doesn’t overprice, and won’t under price(she’s in it to make money, too!). If you’re looking to sell something: talk to Heather. If you’re looking to busy something: take a trip.

Not the average consignment shop. For the space they have they really pack it full. These folks are not terribly friendly but they do have some gems among the other not-so-gem offerings. Designer furniture, some fantastic art and a pile of rugs make it worthy of a look from time to time. The selection does change, the prices are high but they mark things down monthly and are open to offers on most items.

What can I say, it’s a consignment store. However, they did have some pretty nice items at reasonable prices. Being a consignment store, the selection is always changing, so every time you weave your way through this quaint little gallery you’ll likely discover new things. It’s definitely a place to come browse through occasionally. After all, you never know what you’ll find. If you’re looking for something specific, this is probably not the place to go. However, if you’re open to browsing around and discovering something you never knew you«needed» then this is the place for you!
