This place has the most freaking delicious chicken sandwiches I’ve had! Tasted nearly all of them on the menu and every time I thought I had found my favorite I find a new one! Melanie & Ray; you guys rock, going to miss you. PABLO(!) will definitely be back next time he’s visiting from Norway. Phillipe/Pablo =)

I tried their Grilled Chicken Salad($ 6.50): Romaine lettuce topped with seasoned grilled chicken thigh meat, red onion, tomato, carrots, blue cheese crumbles, and blue cheese dressing. I got the cheese and dressing on the side. Curbside also gives customers a choice of wing sauce for the chicken, and I chose their hot sauce. As an added bonus, I mentioned to the owners of the cart that I am a person that loves spicy food, and they immediately asked if I would like a sample of their«Hella Hot» wing sauce, which was still in the experimental stages at the time of my visit. The«Hella Hot» sauce is basically Curbside’s hot sauce with ground Ghost chili peppers added to the mix. Of course, I couldn’t pass that up! A very nice portion for $ 6.50, and a colorful presentation! I really enjoyed the salad. The chicken was moist, and their hot sauce was basically a kicked-up Buffalo wing sauce. Good heat here. The vegetables were fresh. The shredded carrots added a nice texture and sweetness to the salad. The onion provided a nice bite and crunch to the meal. When I tried the blue cheese crumbles and dressing were not overpowering with the chicken and veggies. Classic combination with the wing sauce, no doubt about it. I personally loved the Hella Hot sauce. The smokiness of the ground-up Ghost peppers packed a real nice punch. After a few bites, my tongue was tingling pretty good and the«eye sweats» were noticeable on my face. Trust me, I was enjoying it! I guess if I had any real criticisms here, it would probably be to have more chicken. It was a very good portion to begin with, though, so it’s a relatively minor criticism at that. I’m already a huge fan of Curbside Grill and their awesome staff!

Everything Curbside makes is delicious, so feel free to try anything on their menu. I’ve eaten here no less than 15 times. I’ve had the sandwiches, the salads and their chicken wings. The sandwiches are all good and there is a good variety of options to choose from. They also have daily specials, so if you are over your usual, its still safe to hit Curbside as you’ll always find something new and tasty on the specials board. The salads follow my rule of delicious salads — a fruit, a nut and a funky cheese. The wings are some of the best in the city but don’t get the hot unless you truly want something really hot. Oh yeah, they do tots, onions rings, fries and sweet potato fries too. If you are a foodie, a cartie or just hungry, hit Curbside.

While strolling thru’ Sellwood the other day, I realized dinner was a long way off & breakfast was a distant memory. I spied this cart & decided to give it a try. The people working there are very friendly & the smells wafting from their tiny kitchen were enticing. I ordered the falafel & it was delicious! Served on a fresh ciabatta roll, it was much easier to handle than the usual pita(which, in my case, usually means a good portion of the falafel winds up in my lap). The lettuce, tomatoes, & red onion were all very fresh, the falafel was substantial but not at all greasy. I’ll be back to this food cart with the 3 Musk-A-Teers since the chicken wings seem to be the order of the day here. This lunch set me a whole $ 6.50& it kept me going all afternoon. I want to try the salads next time — they sound really good.

Ok the hidden secret is the salads! Hello best with tons of blue cheese, candied walnuts and chicken! Balsamic divine! And a side of wing sauce and I was in heaven with healthy food! Can I have one every night?

Falafel sandwich done very well, pretty much made this a 5star automatically. Add on that the guy working was really nice and I got my food quickly, this place was a total win. I will definitely be back for more!

Their wing sauce is AMAZING, especially if you like it hot. Their regular«hot» sauce makes my nose run– just perfect. Nothing too crazy as long as you’re a spice-fiend. And I think it’s flavored better than any of the traditional wing sauces at Fire on the Mountain. The Buffalo Chicken Sandwich comes on great bread too, and the salads are huge with lots of blue cheese and yes, WINGSAUCE! I love their wing sauce. Ask Ray if he’s trying out any other sauces. He threw in a sampler of his new Hellahot sauce made with ghost chilis recently– also great, stepping up the heat. Call ahead and have a steaming order of wings ready for a football game!

Happy to have found another good food cart in my neighborhood! And they take credit and debit cards. They specialize in grilled chicken and wings. Ordered a special of the day, a grilled chicken sandwich with lots of yummy goodies all on a very tasty Fleur de lis Ciabatta. For the $ 5.50 price tag it was a solid filling meal. The owner and the other guy working the grill were super nice and friendly. I hope they will stay in the neighborhood and continue offering yummy meals. Looking forward to going back and trying other items on the menu especially the wings.

Lip smackin’ smoky delicious mouth watering CHICKEN! I was in a mood for a sandwich so I ordered their«Green Cheese» which consisted of grilled chicken, pesto-cream cheese, tomatoes, lettuce and red onion on their grilled ciabatta bread. Flavors were phenomenally cooked and tailored to perfection. I pretty much ate the whole sandwich in one sitting(possibly because I was so hungry). My overall fare for lunch was only $ 5.50. Nonetheless, I would definitely come back to visit Curbside Grill if I am ever in the Sellwood district. I’ll probably try out their infamous wings! What more can you love from great service and delicious food?

Bright red cart with smiling folks beckoning you to come by, Curbside Grill is a nice addition to the Sellwood carts servin’ up fat, messy sandwiches and salads. I hear it’s all about the wings and the G-Bird sandwich(a special so popular, they added to the regular menu) here, but I only had a salad so I can’t comment on those. My salad was good– for $ 5.50 I had a decent sized pile of fresh, mixed greens, crunchy red onion, piles of Gorgonzola, candied walnuts, and house balsamic vinaigrette. After ordering, I took a seat at the covered picnic tables behind the cart and minutes later my pretty little salad was delivered. I eyed the pile of fries some boys across from me were devouring with straight-up envy. Nice cart. If you add them on Facebook, you’ll see they also post daily specials, which usually include a vegetarian version. Recent offerings have included things like«The Popper», a grilled chicken with special rub, whipped cream cheese, jalepeno and pasilla peppers on grilled ciabatta bread, Falafel, and buffalo fries. Definitely worth checking out. And they take plastic!

This place is good. !!! Its easy to spot. Its the bright red cart on the corner of 13th and Lexington in Sellwood. The owner makes his own sauces. I have had the chicken sandwich with the medium sauce(forgot the name of the sandwich). The spice of the tender chicken was great countered by the blue cheese dressing. Great sauces!(Did I say that already?) Spicy but not too spicy, and really flavorful! A lot of zip and zing. Its oozes with deliciousness. Very drippy, but so worth the mess. Just get extra napkins. Very generous portions. You don’t leave hungry. I have gone back there three times now and get the grilled chilly added on the chicken sandwiches. Its great. I took a friend there who was visiting from the Bay area and she said it was one of the best meals she had here in P-town during her weekend visit. I have not yet tried the wings, but will have to.

Yes, I am in full food cart mode this weekend, and I just discovered the pod at SE13th and Lexington. Just four carts at this time(the one cart advertising their Cuban Bowl special for $ 4.50 was closed noontime today). I like the smiles and enthusiasm the owners(wearing T-shirts that say«Grip Dip Eat Repeat») of Curbside Grill bring to their business. Their specialties are chicken sandwiches and wings. I ordered the G-Bird and a side of tater tots. My meal was prepared and brought out quickly to my umbrella-covered picnic table. The sandwich was HUGE, and for a nominal price. On a toasted ciabatta roll, It contained a nicely seasoned chicken breast fillet, white cheese, tomato, slivered red onion and garlic mayo. The garlic mayo is delicious, but to be honest, there was too much on the sandwich making it just a bit gloppy. Update on 8÷29÷10: I re-heated my leftover sandwich. It was outstanding, better than when first made! The tots were very good, lightly and deftly seasoned with, I think, either cumin or sage and maybe a little paprika.

Med hot sauce has got a nice burn on the chicken sandwich, and the carrots give a great sweet balance to the onions. Gotta try the rings or tater tots with it next time.

Some serious sauce. That’s what Ray and Melanie dish out at this fledgling food cart(the latest addition to the 13th& Lexington pod). Is it so good that I could bathe in it or even drink it? Um, no… not my thing. BUT would I put their BBQ sauce on almost anything(even when inappropriate)? Entirely likely. «Curbside» specializes in dishing out chicken wings and sandwiches, with a bevy of fried accompaniments(fries, tots, onion rings, etc). Oh and salads too(funny that I’d forget the healthful stuff). Having tried over half the menu, I’m definitely a fan of the wings(juicy), the Mother Clucker(no longer named that, but ask for it anyway… grilled chicken thighs, bbq sauce, blue cheese dressing on a Fleru De Lis Chibatta… see particularly well lit picture ), and the Tater Tots(crunchy). The menu(there’s even three kiddo selections) evolves daily with new specials and added selections. On my wishlist are Mac N Cheese(something they’re passionate about, but still figuring out how to serve perfectly) and Fried Chicken(I can’t even think of a good place to get some in our neighborhood). But back to the sauce or sauces. This isn’t some bottled mass produced muck. Both the BBQ sauce and the Hot wing sauce have hours of testing and tweaking put into them. Were these wines I’d describe them as nicely balanced and complex with a great mouth feel, just the right amounts of spice, and a beautiful lingering finish. A bottle I’d definitely buy. Real food. Real people(love that Ray and Melanie are just two hardworking folks trying their best). Definitely worth a look if you’re in the hood(Sellwood). Try the wings, Mother Clucker.
