We were so excited to try this cart in our neighborhood. We both got sick from the food. It sat like a greasy brick in both of our stomachs. Thumbs down.

Great service! Greater tacos!!! Chicken, Asada and Veggie are my main go to. Absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for quality taco taste.

I didn’t think this place could get any better! But I had the Chipotle chicken burrito and it was so good it’s ridiculous. I can’t recommend it enough.

Best tacos in town. There Carnitas tacos are particularly good. The service has been excellent.

Best tacos I’ve had in St. John’s. $ 1.25 each, lime onion and cilantro style. I stay away from gluten so tacos are a thing and both me and my 8 yo daughter love them here. I will say, I tried the pastor once and was pulling a little bit of chewy meat out, but the carnitas and chicken tacos were bomber.

I’ve got to be honest: we were disappointed. We came expecting high quality, flavorful food and didn’t find it. Huaraches with marinated pork= thick gummy corn tortilla and an oddly-​textured meat (not exactly chewy, not exactly grisly, but kind of also gummy). Carne Asada wasn’t actually carne asada that we’ve ever experienced … Instead it was ground beef. Mushy rice. Watery beans. Warm bottled water (thank goodness I didn’t order a soda). Super bummed; we were hoping this was to be or new go-​to truck. Maybe just their chicken tacos are extraordinary?

Best Mexican food in the entire Portland area. Super nice people, excellent food, I went there once and they even had an amazing pasta dish as a special. Great prices.

Wow St John’s has the best luck for GREAT Mexican Food once again. Great service and wonderful tasting food! I have been back 3 times in the last 2 weeks getting ready to phone in my order for my 4 trip! Have been trying the whole menu not just going back for same old thing and no complaints just empresses each time!

Some of the best tacos around for $ 1.25! Polite and efficient service. Air conditioned service area and covered tables out front. Try it out!

Delicious! Taco prices and authenticity as they should be… ahem Porque No. I’d recommend the Fish taco, it was amazing.

So delicious! Everything is tasty, affordable, good sized portions, and they’re open til 9pm. The $ 1 al pastor tacos are unbeatable, the chimichanga is top notch, and their sauces are soooo good and spicy.

I get food from El Coyote at least once a week and every single time I’ve ordered something from here, they haven’t let me down. This place makes delicious, cheap, and filling food that satisfies my rather constant cravings for Mexican food.
The Chimichanga here is really, really delicious. It is a generously sized burrito with a heap of guacamole and sour cream liberally drizzled on the top. Out of everything that I’ve tried here, I would have to say that this is my favorite. However, the Chorizo Nachos are a very, very close second. If you’re a hungry person like myself, I’d recommend getting both and sharing some of the nachos since everyone loves nachos :) The tacos are also excellent and pack a whole bunch of flavor in each bite.
El Coyote also has really yummy hot sauce so I’d recommend to ask them for a bunch before leaving! It goes really well with their rice as well.
PS: They also sell a guacamole burger, which comes with a side of fries… it’s really yummy and got my boyfriend on the guacamole train!

So good! I have never been disappointed and most times they exceed my expectations in portions and flavor.
