Elixir Skin Therapy

My skin is dramatically improved after only 2 facials. Under the skin blemishes that had been coming back for years are now gone. Discolorations are reduced. Overall, my skin looks better than it has in years. I will be back!

My lovely girlfriend got me a skin care session with Missy for Christmas (thanks baby!). Between Missy’s sweet Loos’iana drawl and stellar music choices, I was lulled into a beautiful dream world of skin care sountracked with the best acoustic guitar ballads of the early nineties. (She offered to change the music based on my preferences, but as it happens I like acoustic guitar ballads – win/​win!) On a more serious note, Missy explained to me the basic principles of skin care so that I knew how to best take care of my skin after I left. She’s extremely knowledgeable about the science of skin care and I felt comfortable in the hands of a professional. My skin is SO smooth now that I can’t stop touching my face. Literally. I can’t. stop. It’s baby’s-butt smooth. I’ve not personally touched a baby’s butt, but I am assured that they are, in fact, quite smooth. Bottom line: Missy is great. ¹⁰⁄₁₀ will go again.

I just want to give a HUGE thank you to Melissa! I have been having horrible breakouts due to hormone treatments. Melissa carefully listened to my concerns and confidently came up with a skin care system… and she did all of this without even physically seeing my face (I live in San Diego). Only days into using her recommended regimen and products… I legitimately noticed a difference. I am now about 2 weeks in and my skin is almost completely healed. My face is SOOOOO much more clearer, smoother, and all around healthy looking!
Melissa even went way above and beyond by making recommendations as far as diet changes and/​or supplements that may help.

A lovely, lovely experience. Melissa goes above and beyond the call of duty. She will answer all of your questions (even if you have way too many), give you tips and advice, and from the moment you step into her cozy little work space she cares as much about your skin as you do – possibly more. I have very fussy skin and a week and a half after first meeting with her it’s already doing better.
She will work with you to provide maximum benefits within your budget, and prices are extremely reasonable.
Did I mention the fact that she is a kickass masseuse?

Missy is amazing! I never really understood the process or purpose of a facial until I started to go to Elixir. I thought that maybe it was something I could do just as easily at home. Mmm… never mind! A facial is a whole process, as it turns out. From getting you relaxed, gentle massaging of the face and/​or neck, and figuring out what your specific skincare needs or goals are.
She somehow managed to get all my old dead skin off my face and put back in all the moisture that the winter air had stolen away. I left looking like I was glowing, and the next day woke up with the clearest skin I’d had in a long time. The best part is that I know it’s going to help my skin stay beautiful and healthy in the long run.
All of that, and she’s super sweet to boot! I can’t wait to go back.
