This is a good company. We called and John provided a rough estimate over the phone, then made an appointment to look at our garage door and take measurements. He and Quan arrived promptly. John described different options and we decided on a door. Both men were courteous and helpful. They were able to get the new door and install it within a few days. What a great business! I called in today to see if someone could come out and fix my bosses garage door. After explaining what was wrong the gentleman on the phone was able to tell me how to fix it myself while he patiently waited on line. 30 seconds later Voila! The door started moving. It is so refreshing to have excellent customer service without always having to fork out a bundle.
I am highly recommending this business to my boss who works in real estate. Thank you!

My garage door broke… I can’t mow my yard. My grass is getting taller by the minute and my lawn mower is being held hostage inside the garage. My recycle bin is also being held hostage, so piles of paper are starting to overflow.
I could try to pull the garage door up, but I can’t, because the stupid rod inside the garage snapped like a twig and basically secured shut my garage door to the ground. So I decided to start shopping around for a garage guy. I took a picture with my phone and called around. Two people asked me that I texted the picture of the garage. John from Ever-​Green Garage called and said that it looked pretty bad.
John is an easy going guy. Friendly and often busy. So when we talked I told him that I couldn’t get time off from work to have him come by just to take a look at it and take measurements. Since he lived near the area he offered to come by on a Sunday, though it was his day off, and take a look at it. He quoted me $ 350 to replace and upgrade the tension spring and rod. He mentioned that this would last for 10,000 cycles before wear and tear comes back to haunt me again. The other option was to pay $ 275 and he’ll fix it, but didn’t guarantee that it would hold after maybe 2 years. I figured the extra money would be worth it.
He was upfront with me. Said that the makers of the garage door was a decent company but not one of the best. Just a lot of building companies use the company because it’s cheap. He did inspect the door and was surprised that the garage door was still in good shape. He told me to look out for any loose screws as that happens a lot.
He ordered the parts and a week later came by and did the job. The garage door now opens quietly. I’m thinking that I’ll have him take a gander at my mom’s garage door. John did a fantastic job fixing my garage and now my lawn mower is free to eat grass. The recycle can is now empty.
FYI…I still haven’t mowed the yard.

EXCEPTIONAL PERFORMANCE! Service and products so good, I wouldn’t waste a minute considering anyone else! Chris showed up and installed our new GD opener exactly when he said he would be there. When we had trouble programming our cars to work with the new random-​code signal generator, John, the owner of the company, came out and solved the problem himself! (Since one of our cars was pre-​2006, we needed a HomeLink repeater). In any case, phenomenal customer service, something very rare these days. I would totally recommend going with Ever-​Green every time.

My garage door broke yesterday, and I discovered that one of the springs had sprung! Looked at Unilocal for a few recommendations, and found Ever-​Green. Called up John, who was very professional. He arranged for Chris to make a service call today (same day service — yay!), and gave me a rough quote over the phone. Chris called 30 minutes before arriving (always appreciated), and showed up right on time. He was super professional as well, got right to work on inspecting the garage door, and confirmed the spring problem. He took about an hour to replace both springs, and walked me through some maintenance tips to extend the life of the door. (Who knew I was supposed to be greasing certain parts of the door every year? Well, I do now!)
All in all — they were awesome to work with. Hoping my door doesn’t need service again for a long time… but happy to recommend them to anyone else in need.

Why can’t all contractors be like this? It seems like providing a repair quote with all potential options should be so simple and straightforward, and Ever-​Green is just exactly that. I called these folks in after an cagey, vague interaction with another, much larger outfit in regards to getting a quote to replace an overhead door lift. My phone conversation with John at Ever-​Green netted me exactly what I was wanting — a straight-​forward quote with multiple options and a quick turnaround.
On the day of the scheduled service, these folks showed up and gave me an honest assessment of the condition of my door, all of the options for fixing it, ranging from the cheapest, low-​budget fix all the way up to replacing the whole shebang. Regardless of the fact that I had planned to have a new lifter installed today, they were up-​front with me about the costs and realities (my door is not in the best shape and was installed poorly — so the performance even with a new lift will not be the best). They agreed that for my situation and parameters, it would be best for me at this juncture to forego the lift and instead have them remove the old one, install a slide-​lock, fix a few minor install issues and get the door working — all for the cost of a service call and cost for repairs. Or simply have them replace the door and do it right — my choice. But a choice I can make once armed with all the info.
In short, they were cool with helping me make the right decision at a cost to them of not getting as much dough now, knowing that their approach will have me calling them and only them next time I need any help with my door. As well as my recommendation to others.
I really don’t know many other contractors that live by a longer-​term business model like this. I know I’ll have to replace this door within the next 5 years, and Ever-​Green will have my business, as well as my recommendations to anyone else looking for door service/​replacement. Their prices are not only competitive, their service-​call charges are significantly less than those other guys I called.
Add on that these dudes are friendly, personable, and know what they’re doing. I can’t recommend their services highly enough. And I look forward to writing an update when I have them do the big job in a few years… when this current door is no longer functional.

Unilocal does it again! I needed my garage opener fixed late Friday afternoon. First, he called me that morning and told me he had a cancellation and offered to meet me earlier… never had that happen except at the dentist! Then he was on time, took one look and there it was a sprung cable because of a missing pin… an old system he said, but it can be fixed for now and might last awhile longer. «I like to use things until they can’t be used anymore» thus he didn’t push for a new system. I needed an extra remote and he said he could take care of that too. Thank you Unilocal… thank you Jonathan! Don’t find this kind of service many places anymore.

About an hour ago, I was looking for a contractor to repair a frayed cable. I read the review below and figured I would give this company a call. Jonathan gave me a quote over the phone, arrived shortly, replaced both cables, and performed some maintenance that I wouldn’t have even thought about. He is amazing. Johnathan Wilson from Ever-​Green Garage Doors was the ONLY contractor out of 5 of his competitors that was willing to come to our home and trouble shoot our garage door without trying to gauge us with inexplicable fees.
Johnathan was on time and courteous. He took the time to diagnose our garage door problems and quickly completed a repair. He also gave us some maintenance instructions and coached us on how to extend the life of the garage door itself.
Johnathan was honest and deliberate. Incidentally the other 5 companies I called, would not come out to our property unless we committed to replacing the actual garage door open. Which ended up NOT being the problem.
I would us his services again!
