Loved this place! I had a short window of time to get a pedicure in an area of town I’m not familiar with. Based on the Unilocal reviews I gave them a call and they were able to fit me in. Genevieve gave me the best pedicure!!! She was gentle with my leg that has a torn meniscus and yet she did a fabulous job getting my feet super smooth and the polish looks great. She was a pleasure to visit with! The atmosphere of the salon was clean, friendly and comfortable. I will go back for sure! Thanks ladies for making me feel welcome!

I got a wonderful, last minute pedicure here a few days ago. You can book appointments online and it looked clean so it filled my must-​haves.
A full service pedicure cost $ 40 — and a warning: the express pedicure doesn’t come with nail polish.
I forgot her name, but the woman who did my pedicure was really sweet and thorough which is KEY for me. She put a lot of work into the scrubbing.

Best predicure I ever had!!! Never thought my feet can be this smooth like a baby’s Butt again. They rake their time and really work out all the tough skin and cuticles I’m so impressed! And their salon has open air flowing in and it’s amazing :) Shanti is the best nail artist

Been to Exodus a half dozen times during the last year. My partner and I have had pedicures by the entire team – they are are meticulous in their work. The best in Portland. Great space and wonderfully diverse staff. Really have a great time every time I am there. Highly recommend Exodus.

I had my first facial today with Lene. Who is one of the nicest people I have meet here in Portland. Not only do I feel so blissed out from the combo facial, mani/​pedi, but she gave me some great tips too for my skin. If I lived in Portland I would be there a few times a month. Sadly I do not, but whenever I visit, I will try to plan ahead, so I can possibly squeeze in some more services-​those massages looked amazing. OH also the space is amazing they fit in so much and they of it well!

Having a great spa day at the salon with my girls today! Reasonably priced for the package that you get that includes a salad lunch and wine. Would definitely recommend to my friends and would like to come back. The staff was knowledgeable and was very friendly and tended to our needs.

Trying to plan my sister’s bridal shower in Portland, when I live near San Francisco, was difficult to say the least, but I couldn’t have been happier the day of the shower. Lene’ and I connected to confirm all the details the day before, and the girls and I showed up early to start all our fun. We brought brunch and they provided us with a table to arrange everything. Then we started all of our various treatments… Massages, facials, manis and pedis. Everyone did a spectacular job! The facial was so amazingly relaxing and my skin was literally glowing afterward. Then my massage was awesome! Super relaxing and comfortable (yes, I think I did drool!). My mani/​pedi was perfect, loved the color choices and my manicure still looked great after my flight home (normally I would have ruined it immediately). The staff was all really friendly (and beautiful too)! Definitely a great spa! I’m looking forward to visiting my sister again in Portland for another spa trip! Exodus rocks!

What a delightful experience!
I stopped by for a mani/​pedi to treat myself in my 7^th month of pregnancy. It turns out Exodus is my dream spa. The space has a really lovely, well-​designed, but not TOO upscale feel — very comfortable and stylish and laid back, rather than stilted and putting on a show, like some «fancy» spas. (Just to be clear: way, way nicer than your average bargain-​basement nail dives… this is a spa for sure.)
Everyone there was extremely friendly and professional and customer-​oriented. Shanti did an amazing job with my nails and was delightful to chat with while I was there — as were the other staff and patrons who happened to be there (I’m more of a chatter than a magazine-​reader). They’ve got an easy camaraderie and it is clear that the folks who work there truly enjoy what they do.
I gushed about the experience so much when I got home that my husband had to politely let me know that he got the picture that I had a good time. ;) I live in close-​in Southeast and am surrounded by nail options, but will absolutely commute up north again for a repeat experience at Exodus. Thanks ladies!

My girlfriend and I had a spa day: mani/​pedi/​facial/​massage. Everyone was excellent! The staff was very friendly and they rearrange their schedules so that we could come in the middle of the day and miss traffic! I’d recommend Exodus to anyone!

This spa is awesome, everyone there is friendly and they make you want to return. The place is extremely clean and well maintained. If you have to wait at all you are offered coffee, tea and water.
I usually see Esmarelda, but I have also seen Genevive and we be confortable with any of the ladies there.
One of the best things is on a cold moring having one of those warm herbal wraps placed on your shoulders while your nails are being done.

I came here for a girlfriends Bachelorette party, from Seattle and so sad this place is not closer to home. I ended up with a chair massage that was incredible and then I ended with a manicure. I was happy at the end of the day, but what was impressive was that the manicure/​polish lasted over a month and a half. Usually I will go in for another appointment when I start to see chips (week +) I am hard on my nails, I have yet to find another salon that can make my polish last longer than a week and a half.

I have been to swanky spas and less expensive nail salons. My experience at exodus was great. I treated a friend to a pedicure for her 50^th b-​day. The salon was super accommodating about me bringing in appetizers and a bottle of champagne, glasses etc… My nail polish is still perfect even after two months (yes, I have grow out and need a new service) – no chipping. My friend told me to add a coat of clear polish after 48 hours so perhaps that’s why the polish lasted so long but my nails definitely looked better than my usual pedicure. Yes, it is more expensive than your typical nail salon pedicure but it was also a much nicer experience – We opened the sliding garage-​style door and let in the spring sunshine, long service, professional pedicure – no roughness or smelly environment. I am taking another girlfriend next week.

Shawna was gracious enough to take me at the last minute for a mani/​pedi before I went to a nighttime wedding. My feet were in bad shape but in no time she had them soft and smooth and my toenails were sparkling pink.
Because I was so rushed for time Shawna talked me into a shellac manicure since the polish dries so quickly. My nails looked great and, she was right, no smudges or dents in the polish after I took a shower and dressed for the event.
I did spend considerably more than I normally do ($ 75) so this won’t be a regular thing for me, but I would definitely go back to Shawna the next time I want to get dressed up for an event.

My sister took my mom and I here when we were visiting from WA, and we’re so thankful! Esmeralda, Shawna, and Genevieve were awesome! We felt welcome and had great conversion! We also asked for recommendations for lunch and went to The Hope Kitchen that they had suggested and were more than satisfied! I definitely recommend this place and if I ever feel the need to get my feet scrubbed, I will return!

If you are looking for a place to feel pampered and cared for, go see Desire at Exodus Spa! Every time I have had a service from her, she pays close attention to me, and does a fabulous job. Today, I had an express facial, and it felt like the deluxe package.
She is gifted and really cares for her clients! I told her that NO ONE else will take care of me but her! If you want an «out of body experience» and sheer delight and pampering, make an appointment with Desire and tell her «The Reverend» sent you!

Now, while I left with really great nails (I had a spa mani/​pedi), I was super disappointed with the quality of service and the overall offering. More than ever, I’m really missing my local no-​frills Vietnamese ladies back home.
Like I said, my nails look great so that is not my complaint, but the time it took to get the end result was excruciating. I waited 45 minutes for the service to begin (on appointment) while listening to the girls who work there talk about highly inappropriate topics (I’m not offended, I just think these things should be left outside the door of a business when clientele is present). In the end it took over 2.5 hours (not OK, y’all). Also, holding a personal conversation on your cell phone while giving a pedi is a big no-​no in my book. You are at work, leave that shit for a break.
Seriously over-​priced. The «spa» mani/​pedi ($ 85) was no different than a standard mani/​pedi at most places ($ 25 – 40) — it just took longer to make it seem more luxurious.
I definitely won’t be returning, and I’ll continue my search for a regular salon I can visit.

I bought the escape package for me and a friend. It was very relaxing. We did not feel rushed at all. I enjoyed my facial, pedicure and manicure with Desire. She is meticulous and talented. I would give this a 5 star except my massage was so so. Regina spent 15 minutes giving me a great deep tissue massage and 15 minutes tugging my cranium in different locations which is supposed to release something. I would have rather had the full 30 minute deep tissue massage. Overall, I would go here again and just skip the massage.

Three of us went to get a pedicure at the same time. The ladies are so great that they moved around some other clients to fit us in!
All three ladies who helped us were fantastic and accommodating. They did a perfect job on the pedicures too!
If I lived a bit closer I’d be there all the time. Go and indulge yourself with some pampering. The pricing is spot on.

I spent a few hours here recently with an out-​of-​town guest. I decided to try a facial and pedicure. The facial involved steam, and creams, and masks, and hot towels, and all the usual accoutrement in a spa facial arsenal. Get one. It’s great.
But what I really want to talk about here is the pedicure.
Simply put, this was the most amazing, rigorous pedicure I have ever received. The soak was long and relaxing, and the water was the perfect temperature. When it came time to get down to business, though, there was a take-​no-​prisoners approach that my feet desperately needed. She scrubbed and filed and massaged and used layers of product that made removing dead skin as easy as sculpting softened butter. She chiseled and sculpted until my feet were practically translucent, and softer than they have ever been, at least to my memory. Honestly, they may have gone down half a size.
As for the spa’s atmosphere, I love it. The relaxation rooms for facials and massage are quiet, and well, relaxing. The nail and pedi salon, however, is your typical gossipy neighborhood salon with great views of Interstate through a large glass window garage door that rolls up on nice days to allow air flow and access to the side deck. A number of women popped in for nail repair or a quick polish change. Exodus manages to connect a spa experience with a local salon experience all in one place. Nicely done. I can’t wait to go back.
