I drop by almost daily to delivery FedEx packages I’m shipping out and find that, if you treat people right, they treat you the same. They have always gone out of the way to help me here. When ever there has been a problem I have to first stop and wonder if it’s really a problem or just my bullhead actions. If a problem I talk to another person and it always get taken care of. I have increased my FedEx account way above my UPS so I can stop here instead, they’re that good.

*This review is based on Kinko’s. I wasn’t sure if I could get a quality print job here since these guys are not in the inner city but I was happy with their customer service and their professionalism. My first print was with Tyler. He was a courteous man. I got my project printing quickly even though they had to drop in new toner. When I got home I noticed the color was not as saturated as my illustrators first test print there. I went back tonight and Hannah helped me. She listened to me and understood what I needed. Asked a couple questions to her superior and did the most perfect job. They turned out even better than the first promo batch. Keep this employee, give her a raise and a promotion, she deserves it!

Luckily I went here, and guy named Derek handled a graphics project for my small business. He did in 6 minutes what would have required 3 days at a reputable graphic design firm. It also cost 16 times less. I would NEVER in my wildest dreams expect that kind of excellence at any copy center, and I will certainly never expect it to happen again. The other staff here are also great. They were very busy, but had that essential positive vibe.

I almost didn’t go to this location because of the low rating. Thankfully, laziness won!
There is nothing wrong with this place. It’s surprisingly spacious, it’s clean, well equipped, and the employes were helpful. I re-​read the reviews after I came back and some of the 3 and 4 star reviews don’t mention anything negative. I don’t know why those folks didn’t give 5 stars.
I suppose your experience may depend on what you want, so I don’t doubt that some people will not be 100% satisfied. Still, I am pretty sure this place deserves at least 4 stars on average. My personal experience was 5 stars!

1. My shipping cost twice what the online shipping calculator stated. I entered everything correctly online down to the weight and dimensions. I didn’t add insurance anything. Online Quote $ 31. Actual shipping cost $ 66 FREAKING DOLLARS!
In fairness the clerk was nice and told me that all of her customers experience drastic differences in shipping costs between their website and the store and that I should expect it in the future.
2. Do not expect to print a photo from your email or an online source. I know that sounds insane right? Well according to the clerk the only way to print a photo was via USB harddrive. And no they do not have USB thumb drives on hand to transfer from a computer to the photo printer.

Don’t go to Kinko’s with the intention of having something printed on their plotter — they don’t know how to use it. The guy working there tried to print my plotter formatted document a few times — it cut the document in half once, then somehow printed on narrower paper, cutting off the sides.
He ended up printing on standard sheets which I will have to tape together, but come on — why can’t they manage to use their plotter?

Just needed to pick up my Timbers tickets the other day. They called me (like they said they would) when the package arrived. They, thankfully, are open until 9 PM, so I could stop by after my errands that day. When I walked in at 8:45, people were courteous and helped me right away. It’s a large Fedex shop too, which I was surprised about being situated in more of a strip mall-​type location.

Went here to print a few things offline, the computers are $.30 a minute, and $.50 for black and white pages. The internet was slow and there was no way I was going to sit there while they charged up my credit card. I left and went to the Postal Annex, $ 1.00 to get on a computer (no time limit) and friendlier staff.

As FedEx Print places go, this isn’t a bad spot. More self-​print printers than the one near Hollywood, and though I haven’t needed to take advantage of it often, the staff is helpful. Lighting (like most Fed Ex Print centers) leaves something to be desired, which is a little strange given that obviously there are customers who will want to examine their documents in good light for flaws/​color shifts etc.
My only other (small) gripe here is the Sunday hours. Like many folks, I hit print centers often on Sundays to get some work stuff printed (for classes, in my case.) I’m up and going by 8 or 9, and have found myself on more than one morning killing time wandering around Home Depot waiting for Fed Ex to open. By the time noon rolls around on (opening time) there’s often a pretty sturdy line waiting for the 5 or so self-​serve stations. This really cuts into Sunday mimosa hours, which makes me grumpy.

Fedex has added some new super-​convenient options to its self-​service printers, and I’m pretty stoked about it. I thought printing from mobile was cool. Well, printing from the cloud is even cooler. You can now print directly from your own dropbox account to the self-​serve machines. Walk up, stick your card in, select Dropbox, enter your credentials, navigate to your file, hit print. It’s that easy.
Printing from mobile was easy enough before, but took some time to upload/​download files. Files already in the cloud skip at least one of those steps. Also, no jumping back and forth between apps in your phone to pull up an attachment, send it to the HP print service, then get a code, then enter the code in, blah blah.
This company is starting to make things pretty ultra convenient. And smart too. They’re not forcing me to use some paid cloud service or anything. They’re going with a popular, accepted free cloud service.

Screw you fedex! $ 50+ to ship an ID overnight and it took 4 days and copious amounts of horse-​crap and dealing with mental midgets to get it at all. Spent hours driving around Portland because no one could figure out where my package went, including the customer care line. NEVER EVER AGAIN! No reason that it shouldn’t have been delivered in the first place. It was sent to an indoor apartment, upstairs. Could have been slipped under the door. Could have been left under the door mat. Could have been left with a neighbor. Could have been left at the rental office. It DID NOT require a signature. Did any of that happen? NOPE. I would rather shotgun myself in the face with rock salt then use fedex again. I will gladly pay more for anything else.

I love them!
I use their free desk as an office. They never make me feel I am taking up space.
I do use ear plugs because they have normal business noise. Some customers are so rude and have loud phone conversations in the adjacent desks.
I take my calls outside, hint, hint.
They also don’t take offense if I help the customers out with questions and hints to make business cards. They also thank me if I show them something new they were unaware of.

this place helped me out in a bind. I wasn’t around for a shipment from FedEx to be delivered, so I had it shipped here. I came in, was immediately greeted and handed my package. I signed, and I was out. It was as easy at it should be. Great job guys!

What makes this place so special?
I am not a graphic designer but for my sister’s wedding I designed her wedding invites (4 pieces — Invite, RSVP, reception and directions), menu cards, and thank you cards. I spent a lot of time doing the layout and making sure my margins were perfect. Since I lack any formal training or any experience making this kind of stuff, it didn’t turn out perfectly the way I had envisioned it. Thaddeus is such a cool guy! He helped me print out and make my little projects the way I had envisioned it. Let’s just say he has magic.

If there was a 0 star option, I’d use it. I had an item to ship that I was selling on Ebay, which was valuable so I wanted them to pack it. I called with the weight and dimensions and was given a $ 50 quote to pack and ship. After it sold, I dropped it off and was told they’d call when they knew the shipping cost. They didn’t call, the person I was told I needed to speak to was never there when I called, and charges of $ 233 appeared on my card. Extremely unprofessional, I would never, under any circumstances, go there again.
