This review is long overdue. I really wanted sustainable flowers for my wedding and magically found this beautiful website for Field Sustainable and the website perfectly conveys the work they do — simply gorgeous. I had a pretty set idea about what I wanted and Megan and I had some quick emails back and forth. She used some great imagery to convey different concepts, and then bang — the magic happened — she delivered the most gorgeous wedding bouquet and flowers. More than just gorgeous flowers and amazing arrangements, her clear communication and responsiveness made the process so easy. This really makes a vendor that you will trust for life.

While planning, my then-​fiancée and I were frustrated as we searched for florists for our wedding. It seemed like every time we found someone whose style was aligned with ours, they were WAY out of our price range. Then we found Megan and Field Floral Studio.
Not only were Megan’s prices the most reasonable we’d ever encountered, but we connected with her laid back and cheerful personality immediately. Some people were amazed that we were okay with not knowing exactly what our flowers would look like (Megan works only with in-​season, locally sources blooms) but both her passion for sustainable, locally-​sourced flowers and her beautiful portfolio meant that we never had a moment of doubt.
In the end, our flowers were absolutely stunning and we got so many comments on how beautiful they were. Megan was so receptive to our ideas and tastes and designed arrangements that were more beautiful than we could have imagined. We highly recommend Megan and Field Sustainable Flowers for anyone looking for relaxed and romantic florals for their big day!

I’m living outside of Maine and wanted to send flowers there. I was in search of a local small business that I could trust. I didn’t want to order the same old standard arranged flowers, like 1 – 800 flowers etc, but was looking for something with a more personal touch. I found that in Field. What a pleasure to work with Megan, who I believe is the owner. The arrangement was absolutely Lovely! Just perfect! I’m currently working away in the UK and wanted to send some flowers to my wife in Portland. After perusing Google for florists, I was impressed by the vibe of the website and company, in particular the fact that all the elements are sustainably grown and local.
Megan was wonderful and very accommodating despite the terrible Skype connection we were faced with. The bouquet was beautiful and delivered by hand personally by Megan herself later that day.
If you want to make someone’s day use this florist! Absolutely superb.

Impeccable. Lovely. Divine. Heartfelt. Where do I even start? I called Megan at FIELD just before Thanksgiving & we chatted about a very special arrangement I wanted to send to my newborn baby niece, brother & sister-​in-​law. We chatted at length about what specific flowers, berries & greenery would work well. Megan also agreed to deliver the arrangement to my brother’s home — which is outside of her normal delivery zone. Impressive. Fast forward to the scheduled flower delivery date = massive snowstorm & terrible road conditions, which made it impossible for FIELD to deliver the flowers. The weather cleared up the next day, which was Thanksgiving, and Megan personally drove 40+ miles to deliver the flowers to my family on Thanksgiving morning. Amazing! She knew how much the arrangement meant to me & she literally went the extra mile (s) to make it happen. Everyone said the flowers were just beautiful. Wonderful experience overall. FIELD is just incredible & I will certainly order again!

These guys are great. Megan gave me great service, and delivered a Valentines Day arrangement and hand-​printed (and hand written) card in person, working with me to make sure my wife would be home for delivery. All of this in a foot of snow! Beautiful flowers and outstanding (really– outstanding) service. I’ll definitely use them again.

FIELD is amazing! My husband surprised me with the January bouquet subscription and every week I got these gorgeous arrangements that completely brightened my day. These are not your typical cheesy floral arrangements — they’re not only as local as possible, they also just have this beautiful wild flair to them. So unique and lovely. Since then we have gotten a few arrangements as centerpieces for parties and gifts for friends and have always gotten a ton of compliments. And the owner is super friendly and responsive. You can’t go wrong!
