Small store but everything is vegan and there are lots of things I’ve never seen anywhere in Las Vegas, Los Angels or in the uk. The employees were SUPER down to earth and friendly and informative! And the store is right next to like 4 other devoted vegan shops. Oh! And the premade sandwiches are SO good! I got the«I can’t believe it’s not a fried egg sandwich» or something like that. And the«tuna» snadwich. Both great, not at all soggy or stale. Will definitely go back as much as I can while in Portland and stick up on my now going to miss vegan goodies. Thank you for existing!

They have a very comprehensive selection of quality, reasonably-priced products for vegans.

I love this store! The people that work here and the owners are such rad people. I love all the snacks they carry and their merch. If you’re lucky enough to live in portland, stop in regularly. If you live elsewhere, check out their website and order some great stuff online. Almost forgot… SOFTSERVE!

If I could give this place a zero rating I would. In addition to being a pompous, self righteous fool, the owner of this shop is an incredibly stupid business man. Kicking out a customer because they’re wearing a vintage fur coat is not a great practice. In fact, it could be construed as discrimination. I was not being disrespectful in the least, I didn’t even realize it was a vegan grocery store until he was throwing me out. Suffice to say he won’t be getting a dime from me. What an upsetting, disgusting interaction that was.

Hardly better stocked with vegan goodies than New Seasons or even Safeway/Fred Meyer. The staff is hostile, hyper-judgmental and seemingly always looking for a fight. The«I Hunting Accidents» sticker they sell is revolting. How could it possibly promote an ideology rooted in respect for life? I’m looking for a store that will enhance my vegan lifestyle and treat people with the same respect they demand for animals.

Man, do I wish we had one of these in Chicago. I love the idea of a vegan grocer because I found all sorts of new products to try! The store itself is kind of small but what they pack into it is what counts! You can find anything from shelf-stable to cold products. The staff was friendly and helpful — even informed me they could ship anything but cold items to Chicago so I’ll definitely take them up on that! This was a great little stop on our way back to the hotel so I could stock up on snacks for the plane ride home. I recommend checking it out!

I was driving up to camp at Olympic National Forest and decided to have a layover in Portland. Being that this was my first all veggie supermarket, it provided me with so many options. It also had convenient prepackaged food options which were great for camping. I even got a free sticker and free pin! Wish we had these in South Florida!

FOODFIGHTFUCKINRULES. HERE’S WHY. They’re really nice and helpful but not the badger you while you shop around type, thank goodness. They have treeline cashew cheese and chao and CHOCOLATE.

This place is like a little vegan heaven. I wish I lived closer because I would have bought everything. Unfortunately since I have to take a plane home today I couldn’t buy any of the fridge or frozen stuff but I did grab some vegan jerky and other fun snacks for the trip

I love this establishment! Great foods to be found here. By far the best brie cheese I’ve ever had can be purchased here, if you’re lucky. I always call ahead to make sure they have it in stock before making the nearly 30 minute drive from my place to Food Fight. If you haven’t, try the Vtopian peppercorn brie cheese. When you can find them the vegan twinkies called Dildos are really good as well. The staff is really nice and friendly. The store might be small but it’s worth the visit.

Located in the vegan strip mall, Food Fight is a must-stop for all those hard to find vegan items. Sure, you can go to Whole Foods and find your run of the mill daiya and faux-meats. But at Food Fight, you’ll find the legit cheese, crazy faux meats you didn’t know existed, and a whole slew of other goods. Need candy? They’ve got it. Need toiletries? They’ve got it. And then, of course, isn’t it great to know that your money is supporting an all vegan business? I wish more of these stores would pop up. It’s great we have Republic of V in Berkeley, and Viva la Vegan in LA, but we need these outposts all over!

So much love for this place. I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with this place! Whenever I have a little extra to spend on groceries, I come here for all of my specialty needs. Also, can’t forget my once a month visit for dog food! So grateful they carry V Dog!

The best grocery store in the entire world. Everything a vegan could ever want, all in one place. The people here are really friendly too. The prices aren’t bad, especially when you consider that you are supporting a local vegan business. If I lived closer, this would be a weekly shopping destination. I usually come once a month.

Well… I have to say as someone who’s shopped and supported at Food Fight since they opened I’m really very disappointed to write this review. My uncle went to Food Fight today. which I referred him too. He is not vegan. But, went to purchase some items for a very special dinner he is making tomorrow night for someone who is a massive vegan advocate. When asking the employees a few questions and if he could get some assistance on a few questions he had. they rudely asked him if he was vegan? He said no. And then they were no-longer interested in helping him. Walked off and proceeded to help other customers. He called and told me it was by far the one of the worst experience he has ever had in a customer service business. This highly disappoints me. For one I recommended him to go there and two. we should never pass judgement on another person for Not being vegan. But, help to educate them on what being vegan truly is and means. I did call and speak with an employee there and he was very friendly to me over the phone and passed the message on to one of the owners. She(the co-owner) called me back quickly which I appreciate. As a local business owner myself this is feedback I would want to hear so I could address it and make sure it never happened again. She didn’t apologize once. she more so made excuses that she couldn’t ever imagine her employees doing anything like that. And that was it… Very. aloof. I would not have left this review if I felt she cared and was going to address the situation. I just didn’t get that inclination from her… Unfortunately, this is a store I will no longer spend my money at or refer others to based on all experiences which happened today.

For vegans, I’m sure Food Fight is the best place to get all the tofu/tempah/grains and all those unpronounceable items that only vegans and vegetarians enjoy oh so much. I’ll admit, it’s not my thing. I actually came here out of locality to the bus stop and I needed some veggies for the bbq I was heading off to. The fresh vegetable section was smaller than I expected. I got a couple peppers and potatoes and an onion. The peppers could have been fresher and I looked at the mushrooms but I could have easily gotten them elsewhere for $ 2 cheaper. The prices were a a bit steep. It looks like a decent place but if I had the time I’d have gone elsewhere for fresher veggies. But I am glad I actually got to go in there.

I love this place. I went years ago when I first visited Portland and FF was still in their old location. I was thrilled to get the chance to go back. This is a perfect spot to pick up those not so common vegan food items and it’s a great place to shop to support all vegan stores. Plus being a major part of the vegan mini mall just rocks. Check this place out. It’s totally worth it.

Great selection for vegans — there’s nothing like wandering through a store without having to worry about anything or checking labels. The only reason this isn’t 5 stars is because it’s a very no-frills place and still on the small side. Hoping they continue to grow — great space for vegans!
