The Philly cheesesteak was delicious. Melts in your mouth and fulfilling. The man worker there was very friendly and helpful to my friends and I, who are from Washington. Great place to drop by late at night and a lot of parking.

A quick stop for a Philly cheesesteak and some fries… Both of those just hit the spot so hard! Thank you Shasha! See you again soon! Charlie, Alicia, and Papo!

This place is the perfect spot for drunk munchies! My friends kept telling me we were going to get a Philly cheesesteak and I kept saying I wanted tacos. In the end, I’m glad I got a Philly cheesesteak. Lol The cheesesteak had bell peppers, hot sauce, and some type of green sauce.(With cheese and steak of course, duh) The whole thing just melted in my mouth. It was delicioussssss! Cheap and good. What more can you ask for? Parking is a little hard to find since the truck is basically in the parking lot of a gas station.

Ok so this was my first time in Portland and my first time eating from this food truck and let me say… WOW. I got the Philly Cheese steak and my mind was officially blown. This sandwich was FULL of flavor and needless to say, I was licking every finger that had any leftovers on them. Lol. WHENAREYOUCOMINGTOSOCAL???

What’s not to love! Awesome food n cool reggae music while u savor it! This cart is open for business virtually all night on Fridays n Saturdays. The lamb over rice is simply superb, though i wanted to try the couscous which is supposed to better. But, unfortunately, he was alrdy out of it at 10pm. So, I guess it must be truly divine. The lamb is tender(he marinates it fresh over night) and the mix of sauces is perfect. I would recommend opting for the garlic n spinach sauces rather than the hot sauce. I tried both combinations n the spinach/garlic worked better imo. I also had the reindeer meat sausage… which was good. My only gripe is that with all the other meats mixed with it, i couldn’t really get a feel of what reindeer meat tastes like. Maybe he should try a patty?

Gamila serves amazing Moroccan & American food. I’ve never had Moroccan cuisine before – I met the owner at a hookah bar several months ago, and he told me to stop by and try some of his cooking. I went to sample his delicious food and I was not disappointed :) I had the cooked beef with vegetables and spices. The sauces really add a lot of flavor to the dish and there are three different ones you can select. A spicy red one, a spinach one, and a mayo/garlic sauce. All sauces went well with the meat dish I ordered. If you want to expand your food palate and experience Moroccan/American fusion foods, I would definitely check out Gamila!

Nice food truck which sauntered up to our workplace last week. Serves up some moroccan and american fare. Got the lamb over rice. Extremely well cooked lamb, juicy and succulent over rice with the sauces nicely balancing out the flavors.

They recently brought their food truck out to Cat Adoption Team for our Kitten Palooza event and the food is fantastic. I had lamb over rice and it was amazing. I will definitely be venturing into old town on my lunch.

We are from California and stumbled upon Gamila when walking back to our hotel. We were unsure of what to order since none of us have ever had Moroccan food before. My boyfriend noticed a guy eating at the truck with sauce on his face really hoovering his food and preceded to ask what he was having. We were told it was the chicken and rice. We ordered it and we were HOOKED. It was so delicious and those sauces especially the spinach sauce! YUMYUMYUM! I loved the olives in there as well! We enjoyed it so much we picked some up again the next night after we already had dinner and ate it again! I hope we return back to Portland one day and I pray that food truck stays in that same exact spot! mmmmmm!

The best hotdog and Moroccan chicken & rice in town. Seriously the sauce is amazing. It’s not only the best way to end your drunk night festivities, but it also makes a delicious dinner. My bf and I went as soon as they opened on a Saturday to fulfill our cravings. ITSSIMPLYTHEBESTTTTT

I had one bite of my babes lamb merguez and it was so good, I had to give it five stars. The combination of the tender lamb, olives, and spinach sauce is so, so good. I look forward to enjoying more than one bite from this truck. Try it!

Lets get down to it. My man Clovis brought me down here one night for some«real» food. Its very tasty. I had the sandwich in the picture. The meat was excellent. I’d tell them next time to go light on the white sauce. Other than that, very tasty. Super nice guys too.

This is the second time I’ve had Gamila’s Moroccan cuisine. Both times, Dr. Rick hired them to come out to his clinic and serve at his annual First Thursday party. What a treat! I’m a creature of habit and once again ordered them lamb and rice plate. The top was drizzled with a cream sauce, a creamy spinach sauce and a hot sauce. I’m a sauce freak, so, the more, the better! My plate was delicious and I ate every bite, minus the side of spicy olives(I’m just not a fan of olives in general). Also available is a chicken plate, a gyro-like sandwich and numerous hot-dogs. I was curious about their Reindeer dog — but not enough to try it. I guess I’d rather not eat an animal that guides Santa’s sleigh to delivers my presents. ha ha Instead I ate one of Mary’s little Lambs. What a hypocrite! Everyone I was at the event with tried something different and all were convinced that what they ordered was«the best». Both men running the food cart were delightful and catered to our special orders(«no onions, extra rice» etc). The service was quick and from what I could see, the cart was meticulously clean. If you see this cart and enjoy middle-eastern food(spicy rice, meats and veggies), you will really enjoy their fare.
