My wife and I were so lucky to find Gene as we bought our first home! About a year ago, we used a website to request more information on a home and ended up being put in touch with Gene. It was such a great fit. Gene bent over backwards to meet with us, to help us refine what we were looking for and to ease us through the process. Without ever telling us what to do, he enabled us to make a great buy.
Gene was quick to return calls and e-​mails, made appointments as soon as possible and always met us with a smile. He is also clearly very ethical and a true professional. You’ll be well-​served by working with Gene to buy a home!

Gene helped us buy our 5th home, so we’ve worked with a lot of real estate agents over the years. Gene was the best. As a family of four, we often had to bring the kids with us to look at houses and Gene was very flexible, understanding, and patient. I guess being the Dad of 3 boys has helped him develop some empathy for parents who are trying to make an incredibly stressful decision while also negotiating impatient kids. One of Gene’s great strengths is his sense of humor. Who doesn’t want to have fun while house hunting and dealing with the work of buying and selling a house? Finally, in addition to being knowledgeable about homes and the real estate market, he was able to provide great referrals for every thing we needed related to our new Portland home, from a fabulous mortgage broker, to a housekeeping service to clean the old house at move-​out time.
