GREAT selection at GREAT prices. Super-​friendly staff. High-​quality products all in great shape with no stains (just picked up an awesome Petunia Pickle Bottom diaper bag for a song). Awesome mix of well cared for Target– type items for dirt cheap plus high-​end brand names at great prices. Cute store with racks full of quality items plus cute little dressers filled with everything from sun hats to mattress pads to diaper covers to breastfeeding accessories. New things too like diaper covers and nipple shields. The best! I’ll be back for sure.

The store is very small, but neat, and the employee working there was very friendly with my toddler daughter. They have a nice selection of baby and toddler clothes, but a pretty limited selection of gear and toys. They also have a couple of racks of maternity clothes, mainly from the major brands like Motherhood Maternity, but everything on those racks looked very worn and stretched out. Besides stretchy tee shirt type things, pretty slim pickings.
The biggest downside— the prices. You can get cheaper maternity shirts for new at Target and other stores, and the toddler/​kids clothes are too high. I can get the same Hannah Andersson stuff at Baby to Baby for much cheaper.
Cute store, nice staff, but we likely won’t come back.

The employees are so nice and they helped me find maternity clothes and set up a pack n play. I even got a price reduction due to a slight stain. Of the consignment stores I’ve visited this is the only place where I have bought anything! I can’t wait to go back. I love Hoot-n-Annie’s

Love this little shop! I was referred ages ago by a friend and I started following them on facebook. My son is 3 months old and I finally had a chance to visit during one of their flash sales! The shop owner (I’m so sorry but I didn’t catch your name!) was incredibly sweet and very welcoming! The selection was HUGE and all very cute, high quality items. We ended up walking out with a bag full of clothes and all for under $ 30!
I have not traded anything with them yet but have heard good things from my friend who trades regularly so I will definitely be back soon with a bunch of stuff!

This is such a darling store! This was my first time consigning anything and I got a lot more than if I sold everything individually. We came away with a bunch of cute clothes for fall and will definitely be back soon!

I truly feel like I could not live without Hoot-n-Annie’s!
Granted, I am totally comfortable with used/​second-​hand — but most of their consignment items are in great shape, so you can’t even tell! And, you save SO much. I just don’t get people who buy everything new (especially clothing).
I got hooked on Hoot-n-Annie’s while I was still pregnant, and got some great maternity clothes there as I started shopping for my son. They also have adorable clothes, shoes, outerwear, toys, and other gear.
What’s awesome is that if you’re looking for a specific item, you can start a Wish List and if it comes in, they’ll contact you. So helpful.
Again, love this place — definitely check it out!

I first discovered this store when I was pregnant with my first child. I loved their selection and the fact that I was able to support a small business. The quality of what they sell is top notch, and even now that I’ve moved out of the area I still make the drive up to shop when I am able. I recommend Hoot-​N-​Annie to everyone I know who has kids or is expecting!

Love this store! The lovely ladies that own/​run it always remember me and my boys. They are super friendly and helpful. I always enjoy browsing the shop for next size up clothes and shoes and checking for great new toy and gear finds. I love to dig through the dollar bins and make a point to attend their special events when I can.
They also give me more store credit for my used clothing than anywhere else I have taken items. Have also had good success with consigning gear items.

Note: This store has new owners as of 4 months ago, so if you’ve been before, it’s a different place, in appearance and selection.
My wife and I have been to a heap of baby supply stores in the past few weeks, and were so pleased to come across this gem! My nose isn’t very sensitive, but my wife said it didn’t smell, as all other stores had. The owner said they specifically made a point to not use the scents to cover up things, and to carry clean things. I’d agree.
She was exceptionally helpful with my first time pregnant wife’s questions, was very relaxed and had a good sense of humor. We found a lot of great gear for highly reasonable prices. They bought this business 4 months ago, and from what she described, have made it much different than it was in the past.
She’s a mom of 4, and so had a lot of useful insight into the gear. We’ll definitely be back. It’s a bit out of the way, but definitely worth the drive.

This place is great! It was the third resale place we had gone that day, and it was the only place I bought something from. The lady (who I think was the owner based on a conversation she was having with other customers) was extremely nice and helpful. She let us have our space as we looked through the large selection of clothes while still helped us if we needed it. The baby clothes they had were clean and relatively priced. I plan on going back there for more baby clothes.

Hoot-​n-​Annie is my favorite kids’ resale store in Portland. They offer great trade-​in value, PLUS they take clothes from any season, so you don’t end up storing the outgrown stuff for a year. Big bonus! And I always find something great there for my son. Definitely worth checking out on a regular basis :)

I love the concept of Hoot & Annie! They are a friendly lot with a great deal of experience with children. It’s a quaint store, colorful and bright… with clothes in excellent condition. Can’t wait to visit again at their new location.
