This is crazy j came here before and got my oil change and had a great visit this time I felt with Noah and he was very abrasive. When I pulled Into the parking lot he was sitting around smoking (hopefully on break). I also worked with Brandon and he was very nice quite the contrast from Noah. Who knows maybe Noah’s having a bad day or I interrupted his break. I give this place another go because I had such a good first visit.

Wow, I’ve been going to Jiffy Lubes for 20+ years and have not been treated with disrespect like I was at this location! My husband took our minivan in for service on a Sunday afternoon, asked them to change the oil, check fluids and lights, as we were heading out of town for a long road trip the following morning. Luckily my husband kept the print out showing what they did. The next morning we noticed one of our headlights was out! So we went back to Jiffy Lube and pointed it out. An employee named Richard just shrugged and said it could be a «coincidence». Like… whatever. In the future I’ll be taking my vehicles somewhere that the employees stand behind their work and strive to provide the service that was paid for!

This particular jiffy lube on 82^nd and Division tried to grossly over charge me for simple service almost $ 10 bucks more for an oil change then the other locations and double! I repeat twice the Amount for for a engine flush which I was Quoted $ 80 by the Lady that answered the phone but before I called 3 other jiffy lube location in town they said the same thing, a five minute engine flush is $ 60 and that they were giving $ 20 off as a promotion so that Makes it $ 40 bucks for the Service but when I call this location there telling me it’s $ 80 bucks!!! for the same 5 minute engine flush what on God’s green earth are they think over there this city is riddled with jiffy lubes all over town what makes them think they can charge twice as much for the same service that’s ridiculous and I’ve gone to this location numerous times, but I can tell you this I will never ever even think about going to this jiffy lube ever again and if I were you I would stay clear if they tried it with me they will try it with you as well…

I felt the need to write about my experience. I went a few weeks ago for an oil change.
My maintenance light came on, so I figured it was time to get the oil change. (In my manual, that is the sign for one). It seemed early, but I thought it couldn’t hurt to check.

I went inside to sit down and not even five minutes later, a nice man came to talk to me. He said it was way too early. I questioned the light and he told me that the last place I went to didn’t just the light. He said he could still do it, if I really wanted to. I was pleasantly surprised by this. They were very slow. I was one of two customers on a Sunday morning. They didn’t try to make up something just to get a sale somehow. They still vacuumed my car and cleaned my windows.
I was very impressed with their honesty and how friendly they were. I will be back. (When it really is time for my oil change ;))

had a oil and transmission service on my 2012 g37 sedan at the store on 82^nd Ave and division. after the oil change we drove over to Lincoln City, where we stopped at Walgreens to get some water. When we got out of the car we noticed a large puddle of oil underneath the car. I looked into the car and saw oil dripping, open the hood to see if the fill cap had been left off. The fill cap was in place, so I went inside to get some oil. I came outside, put the oil in the car, looked underneath to see it immediately draining back out. I only added one quart of oil. we were put in touch with the regional manager, he was very rude, angry, and not very helpful. At one point when I was speaking to my fiancé while I was on the phone with him, I had made a comment to her, and he said «what did you say?» I replied with «I was speaking with my fiancé.» he then again asked me «yeah but what did you say?» what I said to my fiancé had absolutely no bearing on the conversation he and I were having, nor did it have any relevance to the situation. I informed the regional manager that we had a tow truck on the way, since Jiffy Lube was not able to provide us with a tow. I notified him that we were having our car towed to oil can Henrys to get oil in the car so we could get home. We never intended to stay the night. We had been in our car since 7 o’clock the previous night. This conversation was taking place at about 11 a.m. the regional manager informed me that he was loading his family into the car and on his way from Vancouver Washington, which is approximately a 3 hour drive. He also informed me that if we had anybody else work on the car, the warranty would be avoided, and they would not have any responsibility for this. I asked him if it would be possible to have oil can Henrys look at the car, and take a assessment of what happened. Initially he declined, but then later called me back and said that he had spoke to a manager at oil can Henry’s and that we could take the car over there and have them inspect it. The manager at Oil Can Henry’s in Lincoln City Oregon was more than helpful. Those guys there were great, and they said that they have seen more than one car have issues once it has left a jiffy lube. the manager allowed me to walk underneath the car and look at the drain plug that had fallen out, and become wedged in between the skid plates. They put the drain plug back in, filled us up with oil, and we were on our way. now I am trying to get reimbursement from Jiffy Lube for our tow, our expenses for purchasing blankets, food and so on that was a unnecessary expense that we would not have made had we not been stranded. I am also going to request that Jiffy Lube sign a waiver that says that they are responsible for internal damage in my vehicle, up to a certain mileage. I’d like to close with this note: the regional manager at jiffy Lube (Portland Oregon region) was one if the most unprofessional, immature, aggressive, defensive «managers» I’ve ever dealt with. let me be clear about something, I was cold, hungry, and tired. we just spent a night in our car. my fiancé has medical problems that she requires medication for, that were at home. this was a last minute «couple hour trip» to the beach. she was in pain all night. when I spoke to the regional manager, I was at times very rude, aggressive, and frustrated with the situation. I don’t deny that one bit. I understand that no one likes to be spoken to in a rude manner, regardless of the situation. But at the same time, I did expect a little more compassion and understanding from a person that was placed in a regional management position. Instead, what I was given was a regional manager that was more interested in making this a power struggle in between him and I. I was constantly told «don’t talk to me like that», and reminded that «I’m going out of my way, and loading my family up on a Sunday to come help you !». I wasn’t born yesterday. the guy was «loading his family up» so they could have a «business» trip to the beach. why would you bring your family on business? I don’t bring my kids to work when I get called in for a emergency. overall, this was the most disappointing experience I’ve ever had with any business in my entire life. jiffy Lube will never ever get another penny from me, and I will highly recommend to anyone I know, that they never go. this story will be copy and pasted on every review site I can possibly find.
update: spoke with regional manager again. I think originally we were both upset and defensive. the regional manager has offered fair resolution to the situation. we were both in much better spirits today.

It’s possible to get an oil change for $ 20 but don’t count on it.
Air filters, extra oil charges, up sells galore.
It was super fast (like 20 min) for two cars right at opening. If you’re using one card for more than one vehicle, the universe will implode. So bring a unique form of payment for each vehicle.
They have a nice little sitting area with a TV, coffee and hot water for tea. They also have a huge selection of packages if you want to spend that much.
It was a-​okay.

They are Thief’s. They tell you to go wait in the room. They say they are vacuuming the carpets, but what they are really doing is scouting for sh*t to steal. They stole my sunglasses out of the holder. Do not trust these people.

These guys were awesome! I had a lot of items I needed to replace on my car when I went in for an oil change (windshield wipers, air filter, lights, etc.). They let me know they needed to be replaced but didn’t push me to purchase anything. I went for the light bulb replacement, and they gave me one of them for free! They knew I was on a tight budget and helped me out. They were done with the entire service in 15 minutes. Thanks Jiffy Lube!

I’m a bit surprised by the negative experiences — I used to go to Oil Can Henry’s and, out of desperation because of lack of time, I pulled into this shop. I ended up getting amazing service at a fraction of the price I’m used to paying so went back again. They seemed to almost remember me from months prior and their records were great. Everybody was very professional, friendly and fast — my new regular place for family vehicles!

They only use Pennzoil :(
Also, they lowered the air pressure in all my tiers. They told me «we adjusted your tire pressure» then when i got in my TPMS light was on and all four of my tiers were visibly low.
The help here makes you want to go home and double check everything they touched, pointless.

Great business, good quality, and a good price.

They removed my cabin air filter to try to shake me down for a replacement. I told them I’m capable of buying and replacing my own air filter. The following day I turn on my fan and there is a clicking noise that varies with fan speed. They clearly didn’t re-​install it correctly. I called them to inform them of their mistake. They told me tersely to bring it in and they’d fix it. I informed them that I live over 30 minutes away. They had no suggestions. Rude, dismissive of the problems they caused. I’ll never return.

Went here today for a quick oil change before leaving for a road trip because I couldn’t get into see my regular mechanic. I have to say I was very impressed and happy with my service. I was treated extremely courteously by everyone I dealt with. They informed me of optional things I could add to my service, some of which I accepted, some declined. I felt like everything was well explained and I didn’t feel pressured to do anything I didn’t want to do. I was in and out in probably 15 minutes.

AVOID THIS JIFFY LUBE AT ALL COSTS!!! Totally got a «bait & switch» deal and am contacting my attorney first thing Monday morning! I went in for a quick oil change to tie me over until I could get a 100k service at my regular mechanic. I stated so as they tried to upsale me. Wanting my business, they gave me a quote for the same service promised by my mechanic and lowered the price $ 29 to match my mechanics quote. Oil change, air filter, trans flush and radiator flush. I went next door to shop while they were working and got a call, «we don’t have the tranny tool to do your trans flush». When I walk back to the shop they are doing the radiator flush and magically they now have the tool for the trans flush only now my quote of $ 160 is now $ 289!!! I can’t even stop the work because they are halfway through my radiator flush! I tell them to stop everything else and just cash me out because I’m not stupid. The manager tries to tell me that I need synthetic trans fluid that is very expensive and costs $ 150… what are they servicing Daytona 500 cars? Is it magic fluid? I can pick of 5 gallons of full synthetic trans fluid for $ 150… I drive a small man trans thats 5 quarts max! The manager (Think his name was Will) was nice and wanted to make it right but he called in James who pretty much told me «too bad» here’s our regional managers’ number. Thank goodness I have an attorney who I will turn this over to… save yourself the trouble and AVOID THIS JIFFY LUBE! I went in looking for a cheap oil change and walked out screwed! Save yourself the trouble.
Did I mention I met a lady in the lobby who said she had trouble with them too???

They helped me to get a chain off of my tire and didn’t charge me. The oil change was quick and painless. Thank you!

Okay, so I know it’s kind of weak that I pay to get my oil changed. Sorry. i’m a horrible feminist.
Nonetheless, I’ve had nothing but good experiences when i come here to «git ‘er done». The staff are usually young, but seem to know what they’re talking about. They are somewhat like car salesmen when I go in for an oil change and they tell me twenty things I SHOULD have done to my car. Often times, they’ll offer decent discounts on services when I do decide to get them done. But they’re also very understanding when I say I could only scrounge up enough dimes and quarters for the oil service.
There’s free coffee, television (poo), and magazines to peruse in the small waiting area while the car’s being serviced, which is usually a quick process.
Last time I went in, they noticed two small chips on my windshield, called my insurance company to get an authorization, and fixed both chips for me free of charge. Neato! And generally, two days a week, you can get your oil changed for less than twenty bucks.
Yeah, i’m a fan.
