As a handicapped senior I have to be critical about how difficult it is to use the handicapped entrance elevators without specific instructions. I was told to go to the Broadway entrance and take the elevator to the top floor. One elevator didn’t go any higher than the floor I was on and the other went up to the 3rd floor, where I got out. Wrong floor for the performance hall entrance. So I walked down another flight, still the wrong floor. Turns out the 2nd floor of the auditorium is not marked on the elevator-I ended up trekking up and down stairs and almost fell because no one could give me the correct information. Really-yes I know now but it made me very uncomfortable and painful to have to go up and down stairs because no one knows where the 2nd floor of the auditoriums entrance is. The hall itself is lovely but the upper floors of the building do look like the high school it was. a bit dingy and in need of some freshening up… apparently the public doesn’t really go up there and they don’t care about the students. Get with it you folks at NW Dance Company and Chamber Music NorthWest. Accept you have some older attendees and give out the correct information to your volunteers so they can tell we who have paid $ 60.00 bucks for a ticket! I left with bad feelings and wasn’t encouraged to return due to this lack of care and information.

Impressive theater! Great seating, acoustics and stage area. The seating layout is quite good so even the«worst» seats are good seats and none have abstructed stage view. Street parking can be a touch tricky though we have always been pretty lucky and there are a decent amount of places around this area if you want to grab a bite before the show. There are even a few later night places for after the show as well.
