McDonald’s

Ok easy enough to get a sweet tea for $ 1. However the girl that helped me a bit rude, I know she was annoyed that all I ordered was a sweet tea, but hey how can you beat $ 1 sweet tea’s that come in a large? I also used the bathroom but that wasn’t the only reason I stopped. If I could take out stock in Sweet Tea at McDonalds I SO WOULD! First it comes in a large, second it’s ONE DOLLAR! Have you priced this at the actual grocery stores? They are practically the size of the large at McDonalds, and about 3 bucks more expensive! Now if you get one at a gas station, smaller and still more expensive. Oh and NO FREE REFILLS! I rest my case!

This is the Best McDonald’s in the Salem, Portland and Vancouver area. The reason I gave this McDonalds a 4 star is because it is completely different during the day than it is at night.
At night, the staff is always friendly and very quick. The food is the always HOT and steaming, which is odd for a McDonalds at 2am. At night this is a 5 star location.
During the day, you get cold fries, a very dirty lobby, and the crowd hanging around the McDonalds is unpleasant (prostitues, tweakers, etc). During the day, I’d give this place a 2 star.
But the night staff is actually very impressive.

This is not your nicest, newest McDonalds around no. If you are eating here though you have already chosen to eat at a McDonalds in an area of Portland known to have high crime, drug activity and homeless campers. This is your choice to eat here, so it is not really fair to McDonalds to complain to them about this, you went here on your own free will. For the area this McDonalds is in though, and what they can control though, the staff is friendly, efficient and personable. The food is fresh and made to order. The lobby is dated, but is clean. If you really want to complain, complain to the City of Portland for allowing this area to have crime and being next to what the mayor refers to as one of the most troubled stip malls (in terms of police activity) in Portland. Yes it is «Janzten Beach» but it is in the neglected off the path side of Janzten Beach at that.

I will NEVER be back to this McDonalds. We were just finishing our meal at an ant crawled out of the fry container. OMG I almost puked. I’m not joking. I told one of the staff members and she said she would talk to the manager. I showed her the LIVE ant still crawling around on the tray. Never ever ever again.

Terrible even for mickyD’s! Never fresh even when busy how is this possible! I guess they are used to feeding all of the transients that eat here! Wow soooo gross! It’s like do I really want to wash my hands in a sink that someone just washed there feet in! Omg foul!
