I have tried almost everything on the menu and you just can’t go wrong. The paella proteins change on a weekly basis which is one of the dishes that keeps me coming back every week. One week it was bacon and mussels and the next pacific rockfish and shrimp. Made to order! Out of a food cart?! Say what… It’s garnished with Jacobsen smoked sea salt, Oregon Olive Mill EVOO and a grilled lime. The chef is passionate about what he does and is on the cart actually making every order. Go there before everyone else catches on! You can also call your order in which is nice on rainy days. The patio has 4 picnic tables in the pod and the MF Tasty cart has two bar stools where you can sit and watch the action FYI.

Excellent food! The owner, Eric, is super friendly and a great chef. I especially enjoyed the KBBQ mushrooms. Amazing!

What a fantastic addition to Mississippi! First — I’m addicted to the breakfast burrito. The owner knows that I’m ordering it from 15 feet away! But everything on the menu is well, M-Fing tasty. Don’t know if that’s what the MF is for but I’m going with it. He has such a passion for everything he makes — and will describe in sincerely enthusiastic detail what ingredients are in there, and how he made it. You can really taste the extra attention and craft with every bite. Even things like the house-made condiments have a surprising depth of flavor. I wish they were open more often — maybe summertime?

My favorite: drive a long way based on «open» indication on Unilocal only to find they are closed. F!

Love this place and the guy who owns it! I’ve had the pleasure of sampling the Tortilla, the spicy garbanzo beans, the pork, and the pozole on separate occasions and all were excellent. You can tell that a lot of care and passion went into this food. I’m allergic to gluten and Eric actually remembered this without me having to tell him. I can eat here with the confidence to know I’m going to have a full + happy belly. Highly recommended, especially if you’re craving a fresh take on warm comfort food on a cold day.

I had just recently discovered Portland Delivery Dudes and my life was forever changed! I work at corporate and I’ve always been pretty good with packing my lunch but when there are days when I had forgotten too I’m faced with the notion of fast food joints. So, this is where the delivery dudes come to the rescue! Let’s get down with the food shall we?! Let me start by saying that seriously this is by far one of the best quesadilla I’ve had! It was foodgasmic on EPIC proportions. The cheese was overloading, the chicken was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The side salsa that it came with packed a great amount of flavor! I was expecting intense heat, but nope, it was totally something different, just enough heat and smokiness to compliment the main dish. After all had been said and done, I didn’t even manage to snap a picture of my meal, you know when hunger takes over, priorities! I don’t know about you guys, but I’m adding this to my future food hopping returns! Great QUALITY food, with flavors that will keep reminiscing in your mind over and over!

What a fun cart! Though I was a Doner Haus fan(RIP), this new cart is a welcome replacement. I stopped by here on my way to Mississippi pizza, intrigued by their witty sidewalk sign. Pro tip, order the chicken tacos, they’re worth every penny. If you’re not into tacos, I would def recommend their cemita, especially if you’re from socal and really miss those strip mall cemitas spots. The cemita here is a bit more expensive than I’m used to, but since they’ve got the cemitas market pretty much cornered, I get it. Plus I’m sure the pork in this sandwich came from Porky the most organic pig on the planet(thank you, Porky). My buddy got the quesadilla and it was def a top notch meal. It was super cheesy and oozing with mushrooms. That quesadilla is worth every penny considering how tasty he prepares those mushrooms and how many lbs of cheese was stuffed into that tortilla. Though for me $ 9 is a lot to spend on lunch, I am planning to go back and bringing all the pals.

Fantastic service and food. I mean this is what great street food is all about … unpretentious, delicious food with hella flavor. It was quite possibly my favorite food cart experience ever. Everything was delicious. I want more now.

Oh Cemita sandwich how I love you. The Cemita sandwich with smashed avocado, Oaxacan cheese, tasty pork and much other southwestern goodness, no other sandwich can compete. I’ve always dreamed of a sandwich like this. To all who consider MF Tasty. You will not regret this purchase.

Not only is the food here insanely good, but the owner couldn’t be a nicer better guy. Food– Spanish tortilla is so yummy and my husband and I could probably stop by and get it everyday! The quesadilla is not your average sloppy dilla, it’s full of creative, yummy, and well paired ingredients that steps it up from a snack to a full blown meal. We can’t wait to try more of the rotating specials. If you’re lucky enough they just might have a special cookie that is gluten free and makes all of your sweet tooth cravings disappear. My only one wish was that it was closer to my house!

My husband and I stopped by literally 10 min before closing(yes we were THOSE jerks) and were starving. MF Tasty’s unassuming little food truck sits between Gabagool and an Indian snack food place. The owner(?) was really nice and came out of the truck to answer our questions and had no problem with working right up until closing to get us some food. Hubby ordered the Cemita sandwich and I got the combo quesadilla which includes ancho pork, KBBQ mushrooms, and more cheese than anyone could ask for! Per the husband the sandwich was good(I didn’t try it, had my hands full with the ‘dilla). The the quesadilla was tasty and HEAVY; I opted for the chipotle salsa which helped break up the heaviness. I kind of wish I had gotten the escabeche veggies(pickled) to really bring that nice contrast. You can get them as a free side so do that! Good food, nice guy and a nice deviation from the average Mexicana cuisine!

Creative and thoughtful southwestern food made with obvious care, fresh and local ingredients. I had the tortilla español and the Sonoran Hot Dog. Both were delicious. Give him a try! The hot dog was Snake River Farms Kobe beef wrapped in bacon, topped with avocado, tomato, onion, and pinto beans.

After splitting the garbanzos-n-spicy greens + pork with my husband, we both had the sh*ts. Thanks for nothing. On the other hand, the pork sammie was tasty and not spicy at all.

Delicious authentic Southwestern inspired food. I am from Arizona, and it is very difficult to find decent Mexican or southwestern food in Portland. MF Tasty doesn’t disappoint. The Achiote Pork Cemita was amazing. The service was quick and very friendly. Highly recommended!

I got lucky and scored the last Spanish Meatball Sub, as a fan of MB subs I have to say this interpretation is one of my favorites. The seasoning was perfect, the roll had just enough crunch. I look forward to the next visit to explore more of the menu.

The food at this cart was really delicious. The Spanish tortilla was great. It had a nice amount of caramelized onions and it also had poblano peppers, which gave it an interesting touch. We also tried the gazpacho(really good), chickpeas and greens(also really good), and a crazy delicious pork sandwich. I liked that one can tell that the ingredients are of good quality. The owner is very kind, and he gave us samples of some of his food beyond what we ordered. Although the pod where the cart is located does not have any kid friendly features, my toddler was quite entertained just running around in the space between the tables and the carts, and everyone was cool with him. Finally, ruby jewel and blue star donuts are right across the street for desert. We’ll definitely be back.
