Mo’s Cuts

I was a repeat customer and scheduled an appointment for tonight at 6pm. I arrived at 6 but the stylist had just seated a walk-​in customer. I will be just a few minutes, I was told. A hair cut, beard trim, hair wash and 35 minutes later there was no end in sight. I walked out. Mo’s website has a make an appointment widget. Why use it if stylists pay no attention to the schedule? Sorry Mo’s. You just lost a customer.

Cut done by short girl with long dark hair. Was a disasterous haircut, very unprofessional. My hair is so chopped up that I am forced to wear a hat when I go out in order to avoid ridicule. Would not recommend Mo’s even to my enemy.

I can’t say enough about how awesome my experience was, I came in short notice and got the best haircut and neck I’ve had in years, the service, style, pricing were perfect. Had such a good experience my girlfriend came a few days later for a color and cut and she was so impressed. Score 1 point for the boyfriend! Albina is amazing. Have came in here a few times. Albina always does a great job and is fun to chat with. The atmosphere is great — prices are hard to beat for the service as well.

Clean shop with awesome barbers. I’m picky when it comes to haircuts and Sam did a great job. Lined me up with a straight razor and prices are fair. I’ll be coming back since Mo’s is a convenient spot for those that stay in SW Waterfront.

Brand new facility in South Waterfront. Nice staff. Reasonable prices, both women’s and mens cuts. Also do color and keratin treatments. Would recommend.
One suggestion for their stylists: If you are running late, then call the cell phone number of the next customer and let them know. Most people who come to your saloon live close by, so it is good to make them aware. Then, when you are late, say 15 minutes, say «I’m sorry for your wait».
Overall, reasonable prices the stylists are pleasant, and nice alternative to the $ 40 hair cut most Portland places charge.
One other suggestion: Don’t play Judge Judy in the background on the TV. No one likes that except you, and it is stressful. Put it on ESPN or the news.
