Dropped by here the other night and so disappointed. Everyone seemed nice but the food was just awful really. With all the other pizza choices in Portland, I can’t understand why anyone would eat here. This place might have cut it back in 1970 which by the looks is the last time they decorated but save yourself the blandness and go elsewhere.

I use to go to the one off of 185th it was the brothers and it was amazing! I absolutely loved to go after every football game or swimming I’d head on up to pizza caboose and get some food and it was worth it! The pizza is amazing the salad bar is always fresh and stocked! The jo Jo’s are freaking good as hell! I RECOMMENDEVERYONETRYTHIS!

Best gluten free pizza I’ve ever had. We got the Consuctor and Lite Line. Both were delicious and you couldn’t tell it was gluten free. The crust was amazing.

I just received great service today from the cashier lady treating me like family. I ordered the mini Caboose Special under $ 8 and the Fireman’s Delight w/Spikes for $ 8.49. They are great tasting, the pizza, sandwich and Spikes. I’ve been coming here for years with my family and never disappointed. They are consistent and satisfy my taste buds. It might not be for everyone especially for the pizza snobs.

On point, delicious, easy, friendly ordering and delivery every single time. Conductor and Fireman’s Folly, yum! I like a well done crust, have asked for such and enjoyed the perfect pie-not over, or under-perfect. Thanks, Pizza Caboose!!! Keep up the good works.

This review is for the food only since the décor leaves a lot to be desired(old, worn and dated). If they could remodel, they could make it so much better and open up a lot more seating. But, as we all know, that can be quite expensive so I gave them a break and reviewed the food only. Anyway.. . The pepperoni pizza they make is fabulous! We live on the SE side of Portland but we try to pick up a pizza on the way home from visiting family in Tigard/Beaverton. Pizza Caboose, I hope you can remodel some day so we can eat in more often but keep up the good work on the pizza and thanks for the friendly and fast service!

I have not been here since I was about 7. 18 years later the place looks the same on the inside. The pizza we got was disappointing. The sauce was bland and somehow the pizza was cold when we got it. The salad bar is nothing special, but got the job done. I will not be returning, just not my cup of tea.

This is a delivery only review; I’ve never eaten in. That being said, I rated this review on three(3) criteria, delivery time, taste and variety of products, and value for you dollar. All three criteria to the delivery customer are important, perhaps we could argue whether or not they’re equally important but I’m not doing that. So, we begin. (1) — Delivery time — Sometimes they run a little late but I’ve never received a 90 minute pizza nor have I ever received a 20 minute pizza. They usually say 30 – 45 minutes and they mean it. So, for being average, 3 stars. (2) — Product quality and variety — They make a pretty damn fine pizza and their side options are nice as well. 4 stars. (3) — Value — They are a bit expensive for what you get. It’s not a rip off; you do get good food but it seems to me that the price could be about 10% cheaper. So, because I think they’re just a bit over-priced, 2 stars. All-in-all this is a nice place for decent delivery in an area that doesn’t have much in the way of edible delivery(Pizza Hut delivers but I won’t eat it).

I ordered a pizza for delivery. The middle of my pizza was doughy and raw. Couldn’t finish it. It’s a shame because I really enjoyed the sauce.

We decided to try this small establishment and it has ever made a mark on our list of Pizza Go-To in the area! Not only are their staff amazingly friendly, the ambiance is fantastic! The pizza is delicious and the Potato Wedges… Orgasmic! This small crispy yet soft spears of awesomeness melt in your mouth and are like none else I’ve found thus far! If I had to make a note on the side I highly desire that the Hidden Caboose do fried chicken just like these spears of deliciousness!

Good food! Good service! Seemingly a nice location for a family get together or event. Greasy Jo Jo’s but they’re so good! Pizza is good, there’s better out there but all in all a great spot with the good people of Tigard off of HWY99.

Worst pizza EVER! I use to love this place, sadly it’s gone downhill. We ordered two pizzas and a sandwich for delivery… over an hour later it arrived. It was cold and lacked sauce, pretty much it was like eating cardboard at a small price of $ 25. Stay clear.

There’s really not much that I can say either way about Pizza Caboose. It’s just okay in my opinion. Nothing stood out to me as bad or good, it was just an okay place. I come here because it’s sort of a center place that some of my family meets, and I feel indifferent to it whenever it is chosen. There are many other pizzas I would prefer compared to the one at the Caboose, but don’t get me wrong, there’s many that are much worse than here as well. Also, it’s still pizza, and pizza is glorious, so I still enjoy it each time I come. TL;DR: Pizza that is the most decent of the decent.

Pizza order to go was quick, and pretty good for the most part. Crust was what was most memorable. Pepperoni was just ok. Cheese was good. Place seemed cool for kids who are fascinated with trains as the name implies.

Food: 5 stars Service: 5 stars I’ve eaten many pizzas in my life and I would say this one is on top of my list. I’ve been here twice now and the pizza stayed consistent. If you don’t like pizza crust, you will definitely eat the pizza crust here. The pizza has a unique crust and bottom that stays crispy the whole time. It’s very cheesy and they put a lot of pepperoni. The place is old but the pizza is very good!

Extremely friendly staff, decent prices and the pizza was excellent! Thick crust but not overly doughy. Spicy pepperoni and cheese for days. We went on a Saturday night and the place was hoppin. We also ordered the cheesy garlic bread and it was just ok — definitely not on par with the pizza. Free refills on the sodas was also much appreciated. Would definitely go back if we’re back in the area. Train theme inside was also fun for the kids.

Not one of the better pizzas that I have had. Cudos for being able to accommodate a really large party that we had on a Sunday afternoon. Really slow, it was like one pizza at a time in the oven so that some of us were done before others even got their pizza. Personally, I wasn’t a fan of the sauce on the regular pizzas. Tried the chicken BBQ and that was ok, but seemed like straight bbq sauce out of a bottle. Cute idea for the trains and all, Tucked back away from the street so can be a bit hard to find. For me, it was a one time experiment. Others seem to like it a lot, but that just shows that we all have different tastes.

Pizza Caboose is totally my jam. I’m no pizza connoisseur. I regularly eat Pizza Hut & their boneless wings but turn up my nose to Papa Murphys. Take that information as you will. They have thicker crusts, so I don’t think people who prefer thin crust(like my husband) would love the pizza. My favorite is the Mexican Pizza, with its bean instead of tomato base. Second favorite is the Lite Line. However, the real reason I come to this party are the railroad spikes, aka jojos, aka potato thingies. So good! And if I don’t finish them, they’re even delicious cold from the fridge the next day. We live just a few miles away but delivery does take an average of 45 – 60 minutes(which is what they quote). I partially blame the new divider on 99W, it’s so hard to turn in there now!

You can get pizza made any way you like here. Thin crust, pan, extra cheesy, etc. The ingredients are high quality and in 7 years of patronage, I’ve never had bad service. My husband LOVES greasy pizza, so this is his favorite place. I’m not as big a fan of the grease, but it dabs off with a napkin fine and tastes great. The salad bar is very good. Not huge, but has everything you need. I think the dressings are homemade because they are delicious and I’ve never tasted as good of salad dressings anywhere else. The real reason I like this place: PRESSUREFRIEDPOTATOES. These are not fries, and not jojos. They call them potato spikes. I call them the best potatoes ever. Dip them in that homemade ranch dressing and it’s like heaven! I really like the theme of this place. I’m childlike by nature, so this is right up my alley. The train theme is very authentic. They have an actual caboose you can sit in to eat, real antique railroad stuff, and even a little train on the wall. It used to go round and round but it wasn’t turned on the last few times we went in. There’s also a table with a train built into the table under a glass top, with a fireplace on top. In the corner there is a huge square table with stools. Perfect for groups, meetings, or parties. Another perk is the ms. pacman machine! It still works, but it’s harder than I remember from my high school days 30 – 35 years ago.(Is pacman really that old???) This place also offers delivery. Sometimes delivery takes an hour, because they get super busy. But it’s worth the wait. PS– you really MUST try the potatoes.
