This place is tucked away and hidden in this side area by JoAnn Fabrics. You can’t see if from the main road. This place is far from fancy, but you can dine in if you want to. There are a few booths inside the place. We’ve chosen to do a pickup delivery the two times we’ve ordered food here though. The person who rung us up was nice and encouraged us to take a few bags of chips that come with a calzone. He said, «take some more bags you’re feeding other people besides you two»(paraphrased). We didn’t want to take all the bags haha, so we took just two. The total came to be about $ 40 for a calzone, hummus side, spinach pie, and double gyro. Between two people, it was more than enough food. I had some of the hummus and a bite of the pie, but I could not finish my gyro! Soooo full. My gyro wasn’t super amazing, but it’s good enough to get your gyro fix. The lamb was a bit more on the dry side. I know the outer most layer of lamb can get dry from the rotisserie, but the other shavings of meat weren’t super moist, but not bone dry either. The pita was okay.

First and last order. First of all, a SMALL pizza and 2 sides of baklava was $ 43.50. There’s a $ 7 fee for delivery and I threw in $ 5 because it’s shitty outside right now but somehow I missed that I was getting a(very) small pizza for $ 25. That’s not even the worst part, though. I specifically ordered a pizza with left side having meat, right side with none. Pizza came with all toppings all over the pizza so not only was it totally inedible for the vegetarian, it was like they just threw everything they had back there all over it. I had a slice and a half before I just gave up trying to take all the shit I didn’t want on it off and called it a draw.

Best place EVER! They deserve 10 stars! When we were snowed/iced in and no one, I mean no one else, would deliver, they saved the day! Our order was brought to us quickly and still hot! The food deserves 5 stars because it was ALL delicious(and we ordered basically everything) but their customer service deserves 20 stars! They will have me as a customer for life! Awesome place, awesome food, awesome people!

Ummmmm… no. There are plenty other options in this area that you don’t have to eat here. I ordered a $ 17.00 pizza that was the equivalent of a totino’s frozen pizza. $ 17!!! This place is more expensive per piece than APizza Scholls, the number 1 pizza place in Portland. I used both the Gyro I ordered and a carton of eggs as a size reference. And the taste, not great. Not great at all. This is the strangest gyro ever, it’s literally a burrito. $ 8. You can go up the street the Shiraz for a $ 5 Gyro that is ten times better. This one only tastes like lettuce and ranch dressing. Tigard Pizza Kitchen is in my neighborhood but I will not be ordering from this place again.

This place is ghetto! hidden in a run-down strip mall off highway 99W in Tigard. My wife and I were shopping and I only went to try this place out because it was highly rated on Unilocal. I ordered a lamb gyro. It was ok, which is why I currently give this place only 3 stars. I’ve definitely had better gyros for a the same price or better at other restaurants(Grab-A-Gyro off Barbur Blvd is my favorite). If I return to Tigard Pizza Kitchen, I will not order the gyro again. I also had some of their baklava which was quite tasty. Their pizza looked and smelled really good, so I’m thinking that may be their more popular item. I do want to return to try their pizza pies out. Service was friendly… it’s a family restaurant I believe, so you get that service with a little extra hospitality. It’s worth a stop, maybe for the pizza, if you’re shopping in the area.

I was trying to think up a new place to get takeout for my wife and me. We babysit for our granddaughter frequently and she goes to bed early. This combination of Greek and Italian(well, pizza) sounded like just the ticket. I over-ordered, so I have not tasted the garlic chicken wrap. The gyro calzone was a real treat, with fresh tomatoes and feta. The crust was perfectly golden brown, and the meat was of course tender and seasoned correctly. I would have liked more meat, but there was meat covering the entire calzone. Cheesy garlic bread was also superb; lots of flavor there. The dolmas were the big revelation: cold, tart, flavorful, with tzatziki sauce. I would go here again. The people there(possibly father and son) were friendly, and the seating area was clean and bright.

Average pizza at best. Great people with food attitudes. Pizza was expensive, fresh but just bland. I wouldn’t do it again.

The only thing I would change is the price. The food is so good. The people so friendly. Support your local business and get a gyro here. They have the best gyros around!

Loved this place! Myself and my cousins like greek food and this was my two younger sisters’ first times trying it. We split an amazing pizza four ways as well as all trying and sharing some of the more ethnic food and everyone had a great experience.

So, I love everything about this place. It’s this family from Lebanon running this place, they barely speak English and you can just know that whatever you are ordering is going to be awesome, made to order, made with love and your business is what is keeping them able to pay the rent. I ordered a small pizza and a coffee. The pizza was thin crusted, soft and tasty. I have had better pizza, but I certainly have had much worse and I would definitely recommend stopping to eat there for lunch. They also have some other dishes like falafels. The place definitely reminded me of something out of the 80’s in New York City. All they needed was a video game machine. My experience was a 10 out of 10. The place just feels real and exactly what you’d expect.

I have have seen this place many times, driving by, but never had a chance or time to actually stop by and order their pizza. I am glad I did this time, I was here with 2 friends, The pizza was delicious, the crust was perfect, the perfect thickness, not too thick nor too thin that it breaks, and it did not become soggy, like most local pizzas do. We also tried and shared the Gyro Pizza Calzone, wow, an explosion of flavors, quite garlicky, with lamb, feta, and their very tasty sauce. And then we tried the Mediterranean veggie pizza, which was also very good. They also have quite a few Mediterranean starters, like Falafel and Baba Ghanouj and Pitas and stuff. They are really nice and warm and welcoming, and graceful, they make you feel like you are part of the family, very friendly environment. The down side is maybe the menu items are quite pricey, but I still think the place deserves 5 stars and we will definitely be back to try more items from the menu!

We got take-out gyros for lunch and although they wre good, they either didn’t have tzaziki or very little, so it ended up somewhat dry and salty. Not that I will look my nose down at any sandwich with feta cheese, but I thought they should know, so people like me, who are used to the sandwich tasting like tzaziki get what they are expecting.

The pizza is so-so, medium crust and lost of toppings, the sauce was ok but overall it just wasn’t all that tasty, maybe better than most chains but that isn’t saying much. Nice friendly folks though so maybe I’ll come back to try their Mediterranean food.

My review is for the Baklava only! I went in on Tuesday, around 530pm. No one was there, understandable because it is before dinner rush, and well after lunch. I came here because I had read great reviews, and had a craving for some fresh homemade Baklava. I walked in, and saw only a couple pieces left in the case. I thought ah yes! This has to be good, there are only a couple pieces left. I ordered 2 pieces, and was on my way… Later when I was home, and tried it I couldn’t even eat it. It was that bad. It tasted like it had been sitting there forever! It had a very icky taste like it had been sitting in an old musty cabinet for weeks! Not sure if that is how it always is, but was a terrible first time. The place is also pretty old, and grungy. Doesn’t seem like a clean place overall.

I’m not typically a falafel person, but I took a chance with the falafel hummus wrap here and was not disappointed. I went over my lunch break on a week day and I was the only one in the restaurant at 12:30. The owners are extremely nice and I could see her whipping up my food in the open kitchen while I waited. It was ready in about 10 minutes. Everything was warm, fresh and extremely tasty. I reallyyyyy hope this place gets busier than it was when I was there. It’s delicious, authentic food and a mom and pop shop this good deserves to do well here. I really want to go back and try some other things on the menu. The pizza and calzones look amazing. I would highly recommend this for a quick lunch in the area. They also deliver! I may order a pizza from them this weekend.

Hands down this is my favorite pizza joint in the area! I love that it is a family running the restaurant and they are always very friendly and helpful! Don’t miss out on their amazing food! P. s. I still have to try other items on their menu, but I just can get around their fantastic pizza!

«Why haven’t we ordered from here before?!» The crust was great; no burnt garlic powder flavor like one of the national chains. It’s my personal opinion that if a restaurant can nail the basics then they’re A-Okay. True to form, the cheese calzone was deliciously simple, and you could tell that they used quality ingredients on the pepperoni pizza. We’ll definitely order again; they’re taking over the speed dial assignment for pizza in our house!

This place is awesome! Stamp it on my forehead, this is the best hummus and fresh pita in town. I walked in because I was I. The area and had a friend recommend it to me. It’s kind of hidden in the strip mall but the smell of fresh pita lead me to the doors. Walking in a had a nostalgic feeling of being in an east coast pizzeria. The owner gave me a warm and happy welcoming smile and have me her best recommendations. I ended up going with the chicken and hummus which I HIGHLY recommend. The food was fast, fresh, and with large portions. Very satisfied. It was also very inexpensive. Under $ 10 for my whole meal! And the best part? The owner gave me free baklava just for being a first timer. How’s that for an incentive to come in? Give these locals your business. They’ve earned mine.

Please note: They are closed from 2 – 4:30 during weekdays — The pizza is really, really good — you’d hope so considering the name of the place. The hummus with chicken superb — the 9 and 11 year old boys who came into the place with an attitude of «I just want pizza» were fighting their mom to have more and more of hers. The dolmas disappeared in complete silence so she wouldn’t have to share. My wife saw what was happening and just kept her comments about the chicken gyro she had to herself… She thought it was really quite good. The staff behind the counter was friendly, patient, eager to help us sort through the menu and could see we were a thirsty bunch and brought a couple of pitchers of water so we could serve ourselves. While the place is a far stretch from«white tablecloth», it’s very comfortable, being as close as you are to the food being cooked you can smell the delights that are coming your way. We didn’t wait long and the food came streaming out. I’ll be going again — and while the pizza is top notch, I will be exploring their other food options. Keep the fussy kids happy with pizza and get something unique and special for you and the wife… but be careful, your kids may try to horn in on your food if you let them taste it.

This is a hole-in-the-wall pizza place that also serves Mediterranean food. One of my favorites was the«gyro pizza» topped with lamb, feta cheese, and tomato, and sliced into strips for dipping in tzatziki sauce. I haven’t been there for a while, but on my latest visit, I found the place was severely lacking in cleanliness. This place has always been on the dumpy side with limited seating, but this time it was just dirty. I even got an unclean glass of water with debris floating in it. The place scores a 100 on health inspections too, so I don’t know what the deal is.
They don’t accept Amex or Discover. Food: 4 Value: 5 Ambiance: 1 Service: 4 TL;DR: Good Mediterranean food, total dive location
