Preferred Landscape

I recently bought a short sale house and the yard needed a major overhaul. There were pot holes and mounds all over the yard, which happened to be all clay soil. The work was WAY to much for me to handle myself, so I tried calling several companies for help. Some waited several days to call back, one or two never did call back. The response time was the biggest frustration with all of the other companies. Not Bob. I called him on a Friday afternoon. I didn’t expect to hear back from him until Monday. Not only did he call me back Friday night, he stopped by on Saturday night to give me a quote. I did get another quote from another company as well. This other company spent all of about 5 minutes telling me I needed to re-​sod my entire lawn to fix it and he would email me a quote. A week later, he emailed the quote, it was way out of my price range and I asked if there was any work I could do myself to help bring down the cost. Several days later, he replied back to me that his quote was final.
That’s when I called Bob. Not only was Bob quick with the response time, he spent time with me giving me several options on how I could fix my lawn. He actually recommended not re-​sodding my lawn. The other review said that Bob was a straight shooter and I couldn’t agree more. And to top it off, without even asking, he told me that if I wanted to save some money he gave me several jobs that I could do myself before they actually came out. He had several other jobs ahead of me and told me he would be out in 2.5 weeks and gave me a start date of April 10. The only bummer is he forgot to follow up with me. I called on ⁴⁄₉ to see if he was still coming out, and he didn’t realize what date it was. He told me he could send a smaller crew out on 4/​10, but he would prefer to start on ⁴⁄₁₆. He was very apologetic, I told him ⁴⁄₁₆ was fine. His crew was out on ⁴⁄₁₆ and finished on ⁴⁄₁₇. Bob, his son, and the rest of his crew did a great job, were honest, and all were very professional. I would highly recommend him and I would definitely use him again!
