Portland, OR
Shinola is brand-​spanking new in Portland, coming from Detroit and selling quality American-​made goods like bikes, pocketknives, journals, jackets, and more. The store is shiny inside (because of Shinola?) and the salespeople are helpful. I bought a gorgeous bone-​handle pocketknife that I know will come in very handy.
Definitely check it out if you know someone who’s hard to shop for, or maybe just for yourself.
