This Starbucks is in a peaceful neighborhood on Glisan and 45th in NE. Unfortunately there is a BAD APPLE working in the store named Sara… not much more than 20 years old, if that, she evidently made my latte and let it sit… there were no other orders ahead or behind. Another person mentioned it was sitting there and I asked if it was still hot. It was not and it was flat! So I asked to have another one made and to please call out my name as a $ 5 coffee is super expensive to have it sit for so long. She then berated me as I attempted to say we are on the same team… she said, «We?» And then, «maybe next time you will listen better when I call your name!»
Not the kind of person you’d want to see on the other side of the counter… GOOD RIDDEN, Sara! I don’t have ti deal with you and after I call customer service and file a complaint, hopefully you can be fixed, somehow!

This is the ONLY Starbucks I like to go to. The staff are so friendly and super nice! I don’t think there has ever been a time that I have not been greeted with a smile AND a hello. Huge deal in my book! Love chatting with everyone and my drinks are made just how I like them. Cannot say enough good things!

I have been coming to this Starbucks for as long as I’ve lived in this neighborhood (13+ years). It’s convenient. The weekend staff is really friendly and knows what me and my boyfriend order. But whatever warm fuzzies that gave me to offset my uneasy feeling about spending so much money at a huge corporation were blown to bits when they refused to let me hang my missing cat flyer in their «community» board. See, that board is reserved for 501(3)© non profit organizations… and cute drawings by schoolchildren promoting Starbucks. In contrast, ALL the independent coffee places in the ‘hood (Laurelhurst Café, Stark St. Station (formerly Cooper’s), Seven Virtues, A&D) kindly posted my flyer (even in their windows). The takeaway? Starbucks wants to give the illusion that they are part of the community, but don’t be fooled. I know, I know, I should have known that.

I just randomly stopped in here, never been before. I just had the BEST latte EVER! And I am a one or two latte a day person!

I stop here pretty much every morning before work for a grande soy latte, occasionally a tall. The AM staff here are always very friendly and provide great service. They keep the line moving while still adding a personal touch to my morning routine. Almost all of the cashiers and baristas know my drink when they see my face. My latte is almost always just the way I like it. Hate on Starbucks if you will… less wait for me in line!

My 16 oz Americano was more like 13 oz, and not even hot. Do I really look like the kind of bitch who puts a cup of milk in their espresso? No room, please.
EDIT: Second time here. Very annoying patrons. Terrible Americano.
