Subs On Sandy

I live right by here and I go there every now and then. Good burgers and teriyaki bowl. I would recommended if wanting to grab a quick lunch. Very nice too

Pretty solid $ 6 sandwich of turkey, ham, cheese, lettuce, and oil and vinegar.
The lady working was kind and food was ready to go in 5 minutes.

Good prices, exceptional services, great variety. We will be back here again. This is a good combo of American and Japanese.
The portions are larger so be prepared to need a to go box unless you have a major appetite.

I’ve eaten here many times in the past. The food is usually good. However, today I called in an order for a Polish sub (which I’ve had many times) and to my surprise they microwaved the entire sandwich after they made it (lettuce tomato, and all). As a result the lettuce was wilted, the tomato half cooked, and the entire sandwich was a soggy mess. The normal staff out front (the owners, I believe) were not present and I was served by people I’d never seen at the front counter before. Perhaps they were only filling in but they certainly didn’t know how to make that sandwich. You heat the meat before you make the sandwich, rather than heat the whole sandwich afterwards. Last time I order over the phone. Next time I’ll come in and watch as they make it.

Great chicken teriyaki place. I don’t know about the sandwiches or other menu items, but the chicken bowl is a favorite of mine.

Hey what’s for lunch? You want a sandwich? They got ya covered with the best subs in this part of town, try the chicken and cheddar, it’s messy but delicous. You want Teriyaki, they got it, Rice bowl? Korean food? chinese dishes? all there; how about a burger and fries, yep. damn good one too!
They are fast, friendly and prices are very soft on the wallet.
So why aren’t you there yet?

Good sandwiches, good teriyaki, average prices. All-​in-​all, a decent restaurant.

My suggestion is not to go here. the only reason that I did was hunger. I was finishing up a 45 mile bike ride and my body was calling: Food!
Teriyaki sounded like a quick fix so I stopped here.
The owners tried overcharging my and the next people that came in.
I got the spicy chicken with kim-​chi. The chicken smelled like it was spoiled even over the spicy seasoning. It did not look good either. I ate the salad and some rice and kim-​chi and tossed the chicken. No sense complaining to the owners, they were white-​knuckling the money and I was not about to have them make me an order of spit teriyaki as a replacement.
