I have only ever got one thing here, the pancit & lumpia dish, which is very tasty! It’s surprisingly difficult to find Filipino food in Portland, so when i found Teriyaki Beef Bowl I was skeptical from the name that it actually had Filipino food. I was pleased when we went inside and saw Filipino food on the menu! The lady who always is working there, is very friendly and always smiling! It’s a hole in the wall little restaurant in Beaverton, but I now have a place to get my pancit & lumpia fix!

I only ever get one thing here, and that’s the chicken teriyaki thigh bowl. It’s consistently done right and very affordable. Great little hole in the wall lunch place. The owners are super friendly and my toddler always looks forward to coming here!

The pork sinagang hit the spot. I love sinagang extra sour. Owners are super nice. Small little place, but cozy. Lumpia is interesting. I will be back for more sinagang. I hear everybody order chicken adobo. Haven’t tried yet, but my niece like it too.

Seriously most terriyaki places in these here westside parts are closed on Sundays. So when my thirteen year old, please –send– me –some — valium– kid and I wrapped up a somewhat harrowing trip to Target to do some clothes shopping and she requested terriyaki tofu, I was somewhat stumped. I got on Unilocal and looked at all my usual go tos. Closed. All of them. Well. Crap. Hey sweetie how about salt and pepper tofu?(Good Taste Noodle House or Jin Wah). No. What about Thai tofu with some peanut sauce? or sweet chili?(Siam Thai or CT Bistro) No. Ugh. We wound up at this little place I found on Unilocal.I have driven by it a zillion times but never been inside. The nice lady was alone in her tiny, super clean little restaurant. Five tables and some barstools inside, two tables out. There are a handful of Filipino dishes on the menu along with the usual terriyaki suspects(including tofu, which I had verified online ahead). There was no terriyaki sauce on the table or the counter. Salt and pepper and soy sauce on the tables. Pepsi products and a cooler with some additional non fountain options. We ordered a tofu terriyaki bowl, a combo with terriyaki chicken and pork, and pancit with lumpia. She had them ready in roughly fifteen minutes with some minimal banging around in the kitchen. The total was $ 24.25. When I asked for extra terriyaki sauce for the kid(who typically could drink the stuff), she told me there should be plenty on the food but filled up two little extra containers for me. Food results: Tofu was in cubes, seared, tossed in sauce on rice with a little salad. Tofu eaten first, deemed good. Salad dressing was a peanutty vinaigrette. Delicious. Salad a bit limp and warm. Rice just ok. Kinda soft. Child didnt go after our rice. Unheard of. She did not polish off all sauce either, deeming it just ok. Chicken in combo was not really grilled tasting, sorta shreddy dark meat, saturated in sauce. Pork was tough, in flat thin strips. Not really good. See rice and salad description above. Yakisoba was super wet with sauce, had some cabbage in it, noodles were overcooked. Pancit was just not good. It was squishy… limp. Lumpia were crispy with mystery contents… maybe meat? The dipping sauce for lumpia tasted nice but was a bizarre texture like a melty slurpee. Honestly. Just weird. I asked princess and our dining companion for their ratings. Overall a 2.75…so we will give it a three. O.k. If I went again I would ask for the salad to be packaged separately and maybe get a beef rice bowl from what I have seen in other’s reviews. The lady was so sweet and I dont want to be mean but I like several other terriyaki places(and Filippino too) better for around the same price point. Give it a try maybe you’ll feel differently.

The lady owner(?) seems very nice and the portion is decent. I feel bad to leave a two star review but the food really wasn’t tasty nor fresh. Food certainly tasted like they were reheated like someone already mentioned. I rather eat at panda express.

This has to be the best filipino food I’ve had around these parts(excepting my home of course). They’re the opposite of another nearby establishment, I say with confidence. I ordered the lechon kawali + a couple of lumpia Shanghai. It was all good and filling. The portions are a bit skimpy and I probably won’t be rushing back for more. But now I know where I can get a decent meal that reminds me of dinner with my parents. 3 stars for now. It’s my first visit after all. Quality is good. Lumpia was served straight out of the deep fryer and so was the pork. I would give a higher rating but I still had rice on my plate after all the pork was gone, and I was really shoveling it in.

I wasn’t super impressed by the food. The lady was very nice and the food was done very quick, but I think it is because most is already cooked and then reheated. Some of my yakisoba noodles were hard from reheating it seemed.

Worst pancit and lumpia I have ever had. The owner just basically microwaved everything. The lumpia were so greasy and some of the noodles were hard from being microwaved too long. Sooooo disappointed.

This is one of my go to lunch spots. For 6 $ you can get the teriyaki chicken with rice and small salad. wowza and the food tastes good too. The owner is from Philippines and the food is influenced by Japanese and Filipino cuisine. While the menu is a little more extensive I was always try the teriyaki chicken or tofu bowl only. The food is hot, tastes like it was home cooked(which is a good thing :)). Overall a excellent lunch spot. The also have 2 or 3 small tables there so you can eat food there but not good for large groups.

This place is a nice brisk walk from work. It’s a small restaurant in a strip mall kind of place. It serves teriyaki food items and Filipino food(four items). What I like most about this place is that you don’t wait very long for the food to come out which is something I really appreciate considering my lunches are about half an hour long. By the time I make it here, I have very little time to eat before I have to go back to the office. The food is decent. I’ve had the pancit and lumpia several times and it’s good. I’ve had all four of the Filipino food items. The adobo is very saucy with lots of black pepper. The teriyaki bowl usually comes with a protein, small salad, and rice. The salad is more like a small smattering of your generic iceberg lettuce, carrot mix. I can’t tell what the dressing is but it is a refreshing contrast to the warm rice and saucy teriyaki. I’m not a huge fan of teriyaki because I don’t like sweetness in foods that should be savory(meat) but I don’t mind it so much here. Sometimes it is a little too saucy and sometimes the salad could be fresher or more plentiful. All in all, considering the location and the quickness, it’s a good place to dine when you only have a half hour for lunch.

Worst food experience ever! I order a tofu with salads bowl, which costs me $ 8.89!are you kidding? 7 small cheese square big tofu plus outdated cheapest salad you could find in grocery stores? The server never tells you the real price unless you«explicitly» ask her! Never ask for anything, they will trap you to pay much higher bill than you expected! Don’t go there! Ever in your life!

New to area and tried it out. Review only for Filipino food, not the teriyaki. Owner was on the phone for a good 10 mins before she greeted us and take our order. I ordered pansit and lumpia, very traditional filipino food. I have never tasted them so nasty before! Lumpia was not fully cooked and was still pink in the middle and pansit was so tasteless and so orange in color! Maybe i am bias bc i am filipino aand grew up eating this homemade… but i have to say, this is the worst i have ever tasted them. Wont be going back to this again.

I’ve had beef teriyaki other places soooo many times. This was BYFAR the BEST I’ve ever had. It was hot and fresh and so delicious. I’m drooling just thinking about it again. And the service was wonderful.

My bf and I absolutely love this place! We found it when we moved into the area over a year ago. We have moved since discovering it, but when we tried other teriyaki places, none of them were as great as Teriyaki Beef Bowl. We make the drive for this teriyaki from our new place, because it’s worth it. The owner is so friendly, and always remembers my bf and I when we come in. She even recognizes us on the phone when we call to order. We always order the special for $ 4.99. It has rice, chicken thighs with teriyaki sauce and a side salad in a handy little to go bowl. It’s a great price for a healthy and filling meal.

Just moved into the area and stumbled across this place while desperate for a quick and easy meal other than fast food. All I can say is GOHERE! The woman and a young man who were working inside were so friendly, the prices are great for the amount of food you get especially during lunch special hours, and the food is really good! I had never had something like this before and got the beef bowl. It was so delicious it’s my new craving. I highly recommend this business. Take out only, wish they delivered!
