I’m not crazy about this place — as other reviewers have stated the prices of this place are… above average, to say the least. One thing that must be said is that the decoration here is top notch, absolutely fantastic 1950’s era design. Really well done and the pink fridge is the icing on the cake. However, regardless of how you put it I can’t seem to comprehend paying $ 6.44 for a one size fits all plain vanilla milkshake. I see this place advertises itself as a healthy alternative milkshake and juice bar and I absolutely respect that, and part of me could understand that the local ingredients used throughout the drinks and food and what not is worth the price, but only to a certain extent. I would only recommend coming here if you specifically want healthier milkshakes, juices, and organic options but if you’re looking for old school American food, take it to the Eveready in Hyde Park.

My husband and I have been juicing for a couple weeks and were looking for a local place where we could buy a healthy juice to give us a break from the monotony of making them. The décor is great and the owner is very personable/friendly. I can’t remember the name of the juice we had but it was fresh and delicious. I would have liked a bit of a larger size since it was my lunch. The place was a little dirty, counter sticky, food stuck to the menu and a couple napkins scattered on the floor. I thought the price was more than fair for fresh ingredients. We will definitely go back.

This place is the cutest! The décor is so fun and their menu is pretty unique. There’s a few panini sandwiches that are vegan or vegan possible and they can also make them as a wrap. The juices are fresh and yummy and I dig that they use compostable to go cups! Will definitely come back and try again.

I have to give this place 5 stars. The food is consistently amazing. I get the same thing every time, the love me tender sandwich. It’s godly! Juicy roast beef topped with local sprout creek farms bogart cheese(which goes perfectly with this sandwich), with sweet canalized onions, and a horseradish mayo. You must try it! It’s the best. The little bean salad that comes with it is amazing. Seriously, you guys should sell that stuff as a larger side! Everything might be a dollar or two more than what you would pay at, say a regular deli, but the healthy and wholesome ingredients combined with the awesome retro atmosphere, and amazing flavor sensations are totally worth it.

All Shook Up! can be a fun place for food and drink. Just be sure to budget time and money for it. I enjoyed my lunch there today — I loved the milkshake(made with Jane’s Ice Cream), but I was not prepared for the sticker shock at the end. The décor is pure 50’s, with retro booths, table, flooring, and pictures and posters of 50’s entertainment icons all over the place. I wonder how many times they’ve gotten offers to buy the pink refrigerator? The décor also included a few other things I really like, including signs for Applewood meats, Jane’s Ice Cream, and«Chronogram» magazines all over the place. I ordered a meal similar to what I might get down the street at BurgerFi. The burger was cooked thoroughly, though not char-grilled, per se. The sweet potato fries, shoestring style, accompanying it, were full of flavor but not really crisp. The small ramekin of bean salad that came with it was delicious, and I’d consider ordering a larger portion as a side if I could. And the milkshake — it’s now my new favorite place in the area to get one. Other menu items include soups, healthy offerings, smoothies and juice bar items. I want to try the juice offerings here in the future, and that might be enough to up my review 1 star. I reeled slightly when I got the bill. Then I thought about it, comparing it again to BurgerFi down the street. The décor is fun in a different way, the service is a lot better here, and the food is made from better quality ingredients. So yeah, you kind of are getting what you pay for. One final thought — please advertise your shakes as MILKshakes. A lot of places can only call theirs shakes because they do not have natural ingredients such as ice cream. You do. Please tout this. I may not come back often for a full meal here, but I will definitely stop in for the milkshakes.

Meh, gimmicky and overpriced. Food was mediocre at best. I’m sure the Vassar crowd will appreciate the buckwheat juice. very hipster. Thanks but no thanks. won’t be returning.

This is a pretty great fun place to go for lunch. If you’re looking to change up the pace a bit from the typical Poughkeepsie dining scene, check this out. So much better than going to one of the many diners in the area; and the sandwiches are seriously amazing. They also have some really interesting juices to try out and if you’re a gluten-free health nut; this is a must!

I had a Leader of the Pack sandwich with chicken, grilled red peppers, lettuce and goat cheese on a toasted ciabatta. It was an awesome sandwich to say the least. My wife had the daily fritatta which had mushrooms, sausage, garlic and onion and was equally great with a side salad. We finished up with peanut butter and chocolate protein smoothies that rivaled most milkshakes I’ve had. I would recommend All shook Up for breakfast, lunch or dinner as they have something tasty to offer for every meal. The best part is that it’s filling but still light enough that you don’t feel heavy or lethargic. It is truly a wonderful culinary experience.

A gem in Poughkeepsie. Small town sensibility with fresh, wonderful food and juices. The only place in the area to get yummy veggie juices, wheat grass and delicious veg offerings as well as healthy omnivore choices. Also co-sponsors juice cleanses seasonally. Great décor and lovely caring staff.

I’ve had sandwiches from here a few times and they were good. However, yesterday I got the«little Egypt» and the sprouts were rotten. It was disgusting. It’s insulting that they would look at the ingredient, see that it is brown and slimy and use it anyway. I will never go back!

I love the concept of this place. Old-tmey malt shop meets healthy menu. Antibiotic-free meat, plus vegetarian and vegan choices. The cheeseburger I had was delicious, as was the milkshake. The owners are incredibly friendly and aim to please. A very pleasant place to get a filling, healthy, and(most importantly) tasty meal.

Delicious!!! Healthy too. Just what I wanted, something to fill me up but not make me feel heavy and lethergic. Janes icecream was a nice finish. Beautiful interior, like stepping back in time. Very unique for the area.

3.5* The food was worth four stars, but it took so long to come out that I had to bump it down a bit. The big group of probably a dozen alums in front of us seemed to have overwhelmed their kitchen, they only have 8 or 10 seats in the place, so they may not have been ready for such a large single order. Once the food did come out, it was delicious. My Leader of the Pack wrap was quite good, especially since I love goat cheese, and my friend inhaled the(vegetarian) Silhouette.

This place has a really interesting concept — «old time malt shop meets new wave juice bar» as their website says. And that’s what you find… a 50s-decked waitress makes juices, shakes and smoothies with fresh fruits and grasses and health shots and whatnot. You can drink those with your paninis, soups and sandwiches made with fresh, healthy ingredients. When I went a long while ago(probably right around when it opened), I had a wrap thing from the kids’ menu… it had cream cheese, avocado, and turkey on it, which I found to be a winning combination that inspired lots of sandwiches when I went home. Overall, it was cute, it was good, it was a little expensive.
