This place seriously has the best dogs I’ve had in NY. Tried it after hearing how great this place is and how it’s so famous. Came here twice during our 4 day visit. Must try!

Prior to todays’ experience, I on occasion, stopped in for a bite here. However, due to price, I was always pulling myself away from here. But today I said, I’d like to re-try it. It had been a long time since I last had a Nathans Hotdog. Wow. For $ 10, I got a soda drink, 2 Nathans(NY-style) dogs and a whole handful of steak fries. What an awesome deal. Although I think I’ll stick with the Wendys nearby, on occasion I might continue to make the decision to stop off here.

Greasy bland fast food, I would rather pay a dollar for a Wendy’s chicken sandwich then to have buyer’s remorse then to pay almost ten dollars for a Nathan’s chicken sandwich that comes with the unappetizing looking and tasting fries on the side. True the service is better over at Nathan’s then Wendy’s when your dealing with rude teenagers taking your order and that cranky female and young male Manager. Time to move on to another job if things aren’t going smoothly.

This Nathan’s also incorporates an Arthur Treacher’s. It’s interesting to have Nathan’s across the food court from its main competition, a Wendy’s. If I want a salad, I’d go to Wendy’s. But if I want a burger or chicken sandwich, I’d go to Nathan’s, primarily because I get to watch them cook it to order at the grill. Their fries are also better than Wendy’s. Their drinks are really overpriced. But I think that’s because they are the only place in the food court with soda machines you can access. So if you drink a lot of soda, I guess you’d get your money’s worth here. Otherwise, I’d say get your drink elsewhere… even the sodas and bottled water in the vending machines in the customer lounge/rest room area are significantly cheaper.
