Noshi’s Coney Island

Very friendly owner as well as staff make you feel at home. Although great dogs, I love their gyro. Onion rings also cannot be beat. Will definitely visit again!

A pretty good hot dog! The chili has a little bite, but not over the top. I’ve had chili dogs that were so hot I was sweating like a redneck at a spelling bee. The burgers are big and juicy, and delicious. This would get 5 stars except the fries sucked. Maybe I’m in the minority, but I don’t like fries that are «coated» or battered in something, as these were. Give me naked fries.

If you like the food at Nathan’s Coney Island, come here. The curly fries are outstanding. I got the corn dog and buffalo dog. Both were great. The big surprise was the Green Tea w/​nectar drink. Go for it at Noshi’s and make your Coney dreams come true.

He’s the deal. Lotta rave reviews but I’ll give you the real. Cute place, great owners, friendly service … That’s a given. Hot dogs are good but nothing exceptional. The regular fries are terrible, the curly fries are good. I’ve read people boasting about the Philly cheese steak so I ordered it, thick cuts of meat, tough with plenty of grizzle. NOTHING like a authentic Philly cheese. All in all this place has some good hot dogs, very fresh home made toppings. If you go there with this in mind you should not be disappointed.

After reading countless reviews raving about this place, I can understand why! What some call hole in the wall, this place is serving some of the best hotdogs in the Hudson valley! It’s a small place, has a bar area, and some tables. Very cozy! The owner greeted us with a warm smile. He was very nice, and helpful being it was our first time! He had us try their house made chili, which was so good my boyfriend changed his order! They had muffins and fresh juices up front which was real nice. We had to take our hotdogs to go, so once we got in the car we dug in. The hotdogs were so delicious. The ingredients were fresh, the bacon on the bacon, chili and cheese hotdog was perfect, and crispy, the spicy chili has such a nice heat to it. And the Chicago was so fresh, and yummy! And what puts this place over the top is there prices! You can’t beat them. The hotdogs, the breakfast, everything is so reasonably priced. We can’t wait to come back and try new things!

This was my first time my girlfriend and I went to Noshis. The moment we walked in we were greeted by the owner with a smile and a radiant positive attitude. This first impression could not have been any better. I ordered the chili cheese and bacon hotdog and my loved one ordered the Chicago. I couldn’t wait to get home to eat so I decided to munch out in the car. Honestly it was hands down the best hot dog I’ve ever had. We plan on going back this Saturday and I have a feeling we will be planning alot more visits.

Off the bat we walk in and are welcomed by the owner! Very attentive! It was our first time there and he made us feel very comfortable. The hotdogs were really good and decently priced. Will definitely be coming back

Noshi’s is one of the best place in dutchess county they always make the food fresh and taste the service is outstanding give them a try your not going to be disappointed love this place

I come here as often as I can with my kid for lunch which tends to be once a month or so. Great dogs, I like the gyro… it’s really amazing. Best part of this place is the owner and his daughter-​great customer service!

This looks like a hole in the wall mediocre place. It’s not. The food is fresh and delicious and the staff is so friendly. They are VERY accommodating and gracefully deal with the annoying requests from the athletes at the nearby gym. Everything from eggs to salad to chili to hot dogs are on point here

Amazing place. The food is great and reasonably priced, milkshakes are delicious, and everything is served quickly. The owner and his staff are some of the nicest people around, so friendly and treat everyone like a regular. Excellent place for a quick bite of delicious food, with a warm and friendly atmosphere.

I wind up here for lunch every now and again. The dogs are pretty good, the prices are very fair. Like others have said, it’s a little place with just a few tables and some counter seating. Could they stand to throw some salt on their fries before they send them out to the table, sure. But they offer up some tasty «gourmet» dog toppings if that’s you’re thing. The service is always quick and friendly. You could do way way worse around these parts for lunch!

It’s a hole in the wall small town place… But I’m not complaining. It looks like a step up from a small greasy spoon diner.
Got a Philly cheese steak for no other reason than I saw another Unilocal reviewer say it was good … And it was pretty good!

My wife and I ate here a couple of weeks ago. I cannot say for sure because I did not have the chili but my wife was very sick that night.
That being said. I tried the hot dogs and they were very bland. I’m sure it’s a good hotdog but I am used to a more garlic in mt hotdog.
The food was average. The presentation needs some work. I have to say they were all very nice there though. I am Not sure if I would go back.

Great dogs, great cheap spot. I usually get 3 regular dogs with ketchup mustard relish onions, but their other stuff is really good too!

Stopped in for the first time today. I am not sure why I never stopped in before. I guess I was craving a hot dog.
I got a chili cheese hot dog and fries, which came to $ 5.15 (though the woman at the counter said «five bucks is fine»). I took it to go, but there were plenty of seats at tables as well as at a ‘bar’ of sorts right behind the grill. THe dog was excellent, with good snap and great toppings. The fries were great, but I had to take off a star due to them being a bit greasy (though they were crisp and not soggy!). I am going to try Noshi’s again and hope to bump this up to 5 stars!
The prices are surprisingly low for the area, I suspect the college in the area keeps the prices low.

Solid small restaurant with fair pricing. The menu accommodates the size of the restaurant well. There’s not that much seating or space, but its a nice place to go to get lunch with a friend. I ordered the Po Town Burger (bacon, BBQ sauce, mushrooms, cheddar) and I’d give it an ⁸⁄₁₀. Owner didn’t know the menu very well which is a turn off, but he’s a friendly, personable guy.

I’ve been hearing so much about Noshi’s that I had to check it out. Once again, I should have come here a lot sooner. The food is exceptional on all bases. The service is fast and the staff is extremely good at what they do.
The hot dogs are so good and they’re grilled. The way a dog is supposed to be cooked. They also have knishes and I’m always in the mood for a good knish. Speaking of knishes, how many of you has gone to any Nathan’s (outside of NYC), noticed knishes on the menu and they NEVER have any? You won’t worry about that with Noshi’s.
I would suggest eating in because it has a really nice atmosphere… very warm and comforting with a bonus of great food. I’ve only been here once but I’ll be a regular REAL quick.
