Pro: Family friend, clean restaurant on Raymond Ave. Fries the way I LOVE them(think less salty version of Five Guys) Buns are soft, potato-esque Fresh, organic ingredients Veggie burger, crispy quinoa, is unreal #nomnom Cons: Burger patties are slightly small, I barely finish ½ a burger at most restaurants and here was contemplating ordering a 2nd one. Slightly pricey given portion size

Awful. Nice place on the inside but AWFUL service. Didn’t get a chance to taste their organic burgers because 30 minutes after ordering my burger, not only wasn’t it ready, they hadn’t even started on it. Apparently they lost my order in the system. I got fed up and left. The manager was nice enough and offered me the meal for free but I couldn’t stay. By the way — bring your own toilet paper. They had none in their men’s room. As far as restaurant and eatery experiences go, this was among the absolute worst.

I have to say, I really had zero expectations for this place. I kind of assumed it was a crappy, drunk college kid haven. I was pleasantly surprised to find, though, that it wasn’t all that bad! I got a bacon cheeseburger that was a little small, but since I went in not expecting to love my food, I didn’t really mind. The servers were all kids who were obviously counting down the seconds until they could leave so they weren’t necessarily the most charismatic folks, but, again, I didn’t go here for a five star, fine dining experience. I do, however, go here to stuff my face with an unhealthy, delicious burger and a mound of fries and that’s exactly what was delivered to me. I can definitely see myself coming back to take advantage of the beer taps ;)

Decent burger, decent fries, decent beer, in my opinion it was good overall, just a little pricey

Good burgers, looks like wholesome ingredients, nice atmosphere. Onion rings are HUGE!

The burgers seem saltier than I’d prefer but the menu is varied, the atmosphere is hip, and the service is good. While I definitely would choose Five Guys over BurgerFi, BurgerFi is definitely your best burger option on that side of Poughkeepsie.

A solid burger joint with prices that match the value. If you like five guys, I recommend this place as your next stop. Try the Cajun fries and giant onion rings, mmmm! Keep in mind it’s a chain and my rating is based off of all factors!

I had an overall mediocre experience here. This place tries far too hard to be the lovechild of Shake Shack(concretes, metal trays, burger style), and Five Guys(fries), with a license to sell beer, and fails on both attempts. I ordered a simple double with fixings(pickle, bacon, cheese, tomato, B-Fi sauce), and a small fry. With a drink it came to over $ 13. Far too expensive for a burger and fries of this quality. The fries were very similar to Five Guys’ fries, however, lacked any decent seasoning. The burger — which I had no option to choose how I wanted it cooked — was small, on a potato bun, and had the company logo branded into the top of the burger. For reference — burnt is not an acceptable flavor profile, and it comes through on the bun. At the end of all of this, I left feeling like I had a mediocre burger, boring fries, and I’m not sure I’d come back. If I were to try the concretes, I doubt it’d change my mind, but only make my opinion less favorable, since Shake Shack has so many more mix in options.

The burgers, good. Fresh local meat, juicy but a little on the small side for the price though. They also charge too much for toppings on the burgers. They make some of the best onion rings around however. All in all, The burgers are excellent, but you will be paying more than you should. Now for the bad — I went with my fiancé to pick up frozen custard for my brothers. They were out of most of the toppings, and they messed up some of the sizes. They also use much larger cups than they actually fill for their custard and shakes, which is kind of deceitful. Bottom line is I would have gotten twice as much custard for half of the price at Rita’s. My key lime concrete was quite good, but it could have been better because there was not enough custard.

They normally do better… Today I got a burger… The bottom bun was missing about half of it… Fries and onion rings were not cooked enough… They were really gross… Not a good experience today…

Great service and fantastic burgers From the moment my wife and I walked in, the ambience was that of a good old fashioned burger joint. The person taking our order was polite and friendly but in a very genuine way, not forced. The food was well prepared and not rushed. The burgers were excellent tasting. I have tried both In and Out burger and Tommy burger in L.A. and BurgerFi is on par with them. Great experience and we will be back!

Had a fantastic burger! The breakfast burger is amazing. The fries were a bit overcooked but that’s no big deal, some like it like that. The food took longer than expected to be delivered but the manager was on point, apologized and gave me a 10 $ gift card. I wasn’t even going to complain the first place. I love that I could order a beer to enjoy with my burger. I will be going again soon.

Heard a lot of buzz about BurgerFi when I first moved to Poughkeepsie, have been a handful of times since. I always find myself getting the breakfast all day burger and it never disappoints. Place can get a little crowded at times but it’s expected being next to a college.

The burger meat is great cooked well and very creative bun & priced at about $ 6. The waygu hotdogs were fantastic and creative as well; onion rings have the perfect crisp. Great interior ambiance for Poughkeepsie, very cool place overall and one of the best burgers you’re gonna find up here. New review, quality of meat went down

The burger was good, but tiny. The ice cream was good too, but the french fries were not, we ordered salt and vinegar and we were really excited but I think they used the wrong vinegar or something because they were not very tasty. They had live music going which was cool for a burger joint, and the manager came around to check on people and he was really cool.

What’s good: Onions rings. Huge and crispy. Delicious. Beer on tap. Captain Lawrence for the win! What’s not: The fries are overcooked and under-seasoned. The burgers themselves are fine, if a little on the small side. The buns reminded me of the ones you get in a middle school cafeteria. Not a happy moment of nostalgia. $ 27 for me and the little one to each get a burger, side, and drinks(shake for her, Capt. Lawrence for me.) Sorry, Five Guys is way better value and better food. As is Red Robin, for Pete’s sake. Let’s not even discuss how much better Poppy’s(down in Beacon) is!

Great food, spectacular service, and well thought out interior — I love it! I came here on a whim after craving some fries and ended up getting a veggie burger, fries, and a shake, all very delicious and filling! This is probably one of the better veggie burgers I’ve had! Everyone working here is extremely friendly and professional and the space is clean and there’s ample seating. I’d come back here again!

Read the prior reviews, and decided to give it a try. Arrived at 11:45 am on a Thursday, no line, lots of tables available. Yes, it’s loud! There are speakers hidden in the ceiling, blaring straight down at your industrial strength table, so no escaping it. As my friend said, I guess we are not intending to spend a long time eating here. Cheeseburger, slightly(ever so slightly) better than 5 guys, but not nearly up to par with Shake Shack. It seemed to have an unusual taste, as if the meat had been seasoned. My friend had onion rings(huge in size, but not a large quantity) and I ordered the large fries, well done. They came out very brown, but surprisingly cold to the touch. They might have precooked them and left them to cool off before serving them. As the 40 minutes of lunch time proceeded, the place became more crowded. Sadly, that crowd will not include me… too many better burgers elsewhere.

I had an opportunity to eat at the first BurgerFi in Boston over the summer, so I was glad to learn one was coming to Poughkeepsie. Now that I’ve dined here, I’m pleased to report that my experience here was just as good as in Boston, if not slightly better. For those unfamiliar, what you’ll get: a good-quality burger made to order, with numerous specialty burger options as well as a large variety of toppings for build-your-own options. These as well as your fries will be made to order, so expect roughly a 5-minute wait. Other interesting sides include concretes. Besides Coke products, you can order my personal favorite, Mexican Coke(which comes with sugar instead of corn syrup) as well as a selection of wines and beers. Compared to the BurgerFi in Boston, this one is just as clean. The staff is friendlier and more efficient. My fries were still slightly too greasy for my personal taste, but more crisp and less greasy than the ones I had in Boston. I opted to spend the approximately $ 1 for the Parmesan and herbs topping, which definitely enhanced the flavor. Even a «small» serving of their fries is enough for a hearty appetite, larger orders can easily be shared. The only thing which may not have been as extensive as the BurgerFi in Boston was the beer selection, but it was still quite good with enough options to satisfy me. The cost of the equivalent of a «combo» burger meal here will be a few more dollars and a few more minutes than a similar meal at a traditional fast food restaurant. But the time and money spent here is better spent.

Excellent burgers. Stop reading and go eat here. Burgers are delicious, the brisket burger is a family favorite. Fries are really good, the bucket feeds a family of 5 pretty good value if you ask me. Tried the concretes for the first time, o.m.c. was really good… heavy but good. The staff is very friendly and the place is clean. 2nd time back.
