Eaten here many times over the last ten years or so, Food and service always good.

I just finished eating here tonight with my boyfriend and we were very disappointed from the food and even more by the lack of service. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a hostess/​waitress and waited about 15 mins to be asked if we wanted a drink and to order. Seeing as they weren’t even busy and the waitress was not paying attention to any of her tables we decided we had to order in one shot. The drinks took a long time to come out, everything did. The bus boy gave us the best service. Too bad he wasn’t our waiter. I ordered my steak medium and had trouble cutting it as it was cooked well done. It lacked flavor. My boyfriend ordered medium and seems that he had rare go figure. We asked for loaded mash with sour cream and cheese and we got a ton of cheese and burnt bacon. If we’re going to pay extra we should at least get what we ask for or told it’s not available. We tried to ask for condiments and for another drink and the waitress was no where in site. The bus boy was very attentive but, obviously couldn’t do much. I’m a very laid back person and even reading my review I do not sound that way. But, the service was terrible. It might have been a bad night but, all my friends who have went have had a very similar experience. Maybe if you are a regular you will be treated differently. But, maybe if they attended to everyone equally it would be a lot better. — I just saw this post was deleted. This was a month ago.

I finally got the chance to visit. The dining area was full (reservations requested). So we sat at the bar to eat, which was fine. We all enjoyed our cocktails, entrees steak (very good Hereford beef) and salmon dishes. Huge sides of fresh veggies and potatoes. The bar maid was attentive to our needs. For a bar area it was well lit and the acoustics were great… Not so noisy we couldn’t hear each other. We will definitely return with a reservation next time !!!

PC Paddock is still here and we couldn’t be happier. The food is still incredible, priced right, and the staff (usually the owners), is above and beyond stellar.

My wife and I ate here last night. The food is good pub fare. The standout here was the fries. Huge sliced potatoes with the skins left on. There’s also an extensive selection of bourbons. Mention this to the owner and he’ll give you a very detailed explanation of his high end line of bourbon. The service was excellent, from the wait staff to the owner himself. My wife enjoys NA beer and at first, they could only offer ODoul’s, which is a disappointment. Within 5 minutes the owner came back with a nice cold Becks NA, which we appreciated very much. Stop by this place if you like that local feel with the great service.

While the food here was very good, the hostess left a bit to be desired. On Saturday, November 28, 2015, I was meeting a group of friends with a 7:00 pm reservation. When I arrived at 6:45 pm, I realized that I did not know what name the reservation was under. The hostess told me what reservations were still waiting to be seated, but neglected to inform me that she had already seated my party prior to 6:45. At no time did the hostess tell me to check to see if my party was already seated. Not only had my party been seated prior to 6:45 pm, but they had informed our server that they were still waiting for me. I ended up waiting for 15 minutes until I decided on my own to check the dining room found my party.

We’ve eaten here about 4 times now, the food is always very good, especially the appetizers, (Asian cowboy wings are great!). I really enjoy the sandwich selections, the only 2 negatives we have are we are ALWAYS feeling rushed out the door, to the point that the waitress stopped by about every minute to try to take our plates even though we were still eating, never offered a drink refill,(soda or iced tea). We’ve heard this opinion from others and it turned out to be true. Also, honestly, the owner acts like she being inconvenienced when we show up to eat, actually we were relieved when we went there the other night and someone else seated us. But we do enjoy the food and cozy ness of the place.

I was just here today celebrating my son’s graduation with the family. The ambiance was nice and was treated pleasantly. The food entrees was delicious and enjoyed the Paddock’s punch drink. The servings was a nice size and there signature bread was delicious. The service was great.

I live in the area and have driven by this establishment for 15 years. They put up a banner recently stating they were voted best burger in the Hudson Valley. I suspect ballot stuffing. I’m against voter ID laws, but this is place is causing me to reconsider. The burger was very mediocre. And I’m being kind. Service was prompt, but they forgot to bring the waters we requested and the waitress was on auto-​pilot, polite cause she had to be. They get two stars only because the outdoor patio is great, although the plastic lawn chairs were of questionable quality. Burgerfi on Raymond Ave, and 5Guys blows this place away.

Over priced! Service was great but the Food was not great! Never will go back.

We had a party of 12. All of the meals were excellent. The service was very good. Prices were reasonable. None of us had any complaints. Just plain enjoyable.

Always a decent meal for a fair price. It isn’t amazing quality and service but is fair. I would give a better ranking if the staff were friendlier and had appropriate training for hospitality. I eat out nightly and find them to be consistently off and making excuses. I’ve also experienced a younger male bartender being rude to customers and discouraging them from ordering food at the bar. The food and atmosphere are decent though and the outdoor patio is great in the summer.

I’m not a complainer but I have to say something, especially if any of you use
gift certificates. Tonight I ate at PC Paddocks with a
certificate. They wouldn’t honor it because we at nachos, burgers and beer for $ 38. Certificate says Minimum purchase of $ 35. Excludes Fri-​Sat. 18% Gratuity added prior to discount. Valid for Dinner ONLY. We went for dinner. We spent $ 38. They said you have to order off Dinner Menu. We ordered off the menu that was handed to us, the dinner menu. They said drinks aren’t included. Nowhere on the certificate does it say that. She told me I’d have to use the certificate another time. I told her there won’t be another time.

We are never disappointed at PC’s. The food is delicious and plentiful; the staff is friendly and attentive. A cozy atmosphere with the bar area separate from dining. Seasonal outside seating. Lots of choices on the menu plus rotating specials. (See their website for menus) Our favorite is the Steak Diane from the regular menu and the Pulled Pork when it is on the specials menu. Fresh food at fair prices. Dawn and Roger are the best. Worth the trip.

Met my friend there for lunch. It was a beautiful day with a nice breeze so we decided to eat outside under the tent on the patio.
Food and service were good, however someone should tell the owner/​chef/​smoker person that smoking brisket outside when the wind is blowing and people are eating is NOT a good idea. At one point I started choking, my clothes smell like smoke. All that smoke is really toxic and we couldn’t understand how he couldn’t see that it was billowing over to the patio. Not concentrating on the big picture, I guess, which means, this isn’t a professionally run place.
Oh and if owner/​chef/​smoker reads this and says, «Why didn’t they say something? We would have moved them inside.» That is not our responsibility as patrons. It’s the owner/​chef/​smokers responsibility, along with the staff to offer to move us, or shut off the smoker or something.
Too bad, everything else was nice. Won’t be going back.

We have eaten here several times now, both as a couple having a quiet night out and with my folks. Service is great. Lotsof greatchoices on the menu, and everything I have ever ordered arrived in large portions, hot, and tasty. I love that I can always leave with delicious leftovers for lunch the next day. Beer selections are nice but standard. Mixed drinks are pretty fantastic. We will go back often!

PC’s is not fine dining, folks. It is, however, a pretty decent little bar and grill. They have upgraded the beers they have on tap and there is a nice assortment of microbrews. The building is ancient and has its own rustic «charm» (some of you may find it charming, while other may just say, um. WTH with the dead animals on the wall?)
The food is pretty middle of the road. I wouldn’t go for the expensive entrees, stick with the sandwiches and bar-​type offerings — that’s pretty much their wheelhouse, in my opinion. But you could do a lot worse around here for a quick bite and some beers.

Had lunch the other day and it was great. Wings are smoked, fried then glazed, salads were exceptional. Sometimes you forget the local places, don’t forget this one!

Blond haired hostess is not very friendly .
Too pricey for the food they serve. I ordered a NY strip steak and it had grizzle all the way around it and down the center. Onion rings where great, potato skins where way to thick and half cooked. Sorry but I would not go back again.
