I will never go back to Ultimate Spectacle. They are simply sales people and don’t care at all for their customers. I had several bad experiences all surrounding one time using them. I felt they were very sketchy and told me one thing but then the opposite the next time. On top of that, when I asked for my frames to be tightened, they completely ruined my lens by inadvertently melting it. They are not professional at all.

I think this place is a complete joke. I always end up waiting 30 minutes even if there is only one other person, this place is not good. I got colored contacts from there, and soon after I developed Giant papillary conjunctivitis, which yes, was somewhat my fault BUT I wasn’t advised on how often to wear them and clean them, so I called in and asked if the discomfort I felt was normal and an employee said yes. YES??? I abruptly realized that the employee was wrong when I ended up in the emergency room. So unreliable. I switched IMMEDIATELY.

I have been going to the Ultimate Spectacle for a few years now, and every time I go back I wonder why I still do. Last visit I had an appointment first thing in the morning and I sat and waited past my appointment time, to watch the doctor stroll right through the front door 10 minutes late. Another gripe I have with them is that they push to bill your medical insurance for the visit, rather than your Vision plan. Their«medical» procedure is one machine that takes pictures of your eye. They also have an agenda to push their very expensive frames. They deter you from the ones that are covered by your insurance. You also have to fight to get contact lenses, and they don’t want to give you the time of day if you are getting contacts. I am assuming it’s because they aren’t profitable for them. There are some courteous employees here, but there are a few that do ignore you and have attitude. If you aren’t dropping $ 200 on frames watch how quickly they change their demeanor.

I’ve gotten my glasses here and recently went in for an exam for contact lenses. I went in and had to wait for about an hour after my appointment time for my eye exam, which was suppose to be free and i was charged $ 100. I ended up getting the trial pair and went back today to get another trial because the real contacts weren’t in yet. I went into the store and was ignored for about 10 minutes. I told them I needed another trial pair. The man, i think his name is Alex, had me write my name on a receipt and told me to come back in 15 minutes. It wasnt like he was filling a prescription. He just had to grab a box of trial lenses and I’d be on my way why would it take 15 minutes? . So I left and went and walked around the mall for about 20 minutes. After a while I went back to the Ultimate Spectacle. As soon as I walked in Alex yelled at me in a snotty voice«I haven’t even gotten to your lenses yet come back in 20 minutes.» I said«I have to be back to work I can’t wait around all day.» And he said«Well the world revolves around more than you. There are other customers here besides you.» At this point I was appalled. I was completely shocked. How could someone say this to a customer! So I told him I cannot wait this long I really need to get back to work and i said when will my contacts which were ordered over two weeks ago going to be in? He said«Maybe if you would come back at a more convenient time you could get your lenses! The other customers in the store were shocked he was speaking to me like this. I walked out of the store and walked around some more. I thought I’m already here I might as well just wait and be late back to work and get the lenses I waited so long for already. I complained to the mall office for the way he treated me. I went back to Ultimate Spectacle for a third time. He looked up and looked back down at me and ignored me. I stood there for about ten minutes again. Finally he ran into the back and grabbed me the trial pair of contacts. He said These arent the ones you need but they’ll have to do. Easy to say Ultimate spectacle has lost a customer. I didn’t pay $ 250 for contacts from them for this kind of treatment! ALEXFROMULTIMATESPECTACLEREALLYMADEANULTIMATESPECTACLEOUTOFHIMSELF!!! shame on them

I have gone to this place for my eye exam and to refill my glasses and contacts for several years. The glasses selection is limited so I have always reused my glasses from the previous year to replace my lenses. During my last visit, the employee Alex called to tell me they melted my glasses but they did advise that I could pick another frame. When I went back there was no apology and he almost seemed annoyed while he was waiting me to select a pair. I’d already spent closer to $ 500 at this point and did not feel like I was being valued as a customer.
