This is my favorite Chinese take out/delivery restaurant. Food is always great, and the staff are even better!

I’ve been coming to Yeung Ho for years, ever since they had their other location on Rt. 9G which is now closed. They used to be great, probably the best Chinese food place around. But as with most small businesses, over time the quality of the food and service declines while prices go up disproportionately with offerings. Yes it’s Chinese food, but Yeung Ho now has the greasiest, saltiest, blandest Chinese around. Pork fried rice contains barely any pork, and the«pork» that it does contain is mostly chunks of fat. Egg rolls are dripping in grease. And the people at the counter are unappreciative of your business. Spending $ 32 on Chinese food and then getting 2 packets of soy sauce tossed at you when you ask for extra is just plain bad business. So if you’re considering tasty Chinese food and have other options besides this place, explore them.

We order from her all the time. Food is always hot and ready fast. You can determine the intensity of spicy you want and they and pretty accommodating to special requests(even when all I wanted was a pint of tofu, by itself). Kids beg for Chinese food all the time and this is out go to place. Close to home, close to work. And their dumplings are out of this world!

Delivery took 30 minutes which was great. Everything tasted great except the sweet and sour soup was way too sweet. Thought it was sweet and sour sauce. I will definitely be ordering here again!

Best Chinese food in 9 states. Amazing eggrolls, the best General Tso’s and non-soggy sweet and sour chicken. General Tso combo is perfect for lunch or supper.

Only Chinese take out that I will go to in Poughkeepsie. Have been coming here for take out since I moved up here over two years ago. I usually just order the egg rolls. Hands down the best egg rolls I ever had. Crisp and crunchy, and golden! The service is always friendly. The girl that works there is always so nice and funny! Great for a quick Chinese food fix.

Have been patronizing this restaurant many years… food is usually good and I love their dim sum… ordered from there last night and mid meal found a bloody band aid in the chicken and broccoli. Called this morning they were very apologetic and accommodating… best part was they did own the problem and did not lie about what happened

The service here was fast — very fast. And the food was pretty good considering the prices are cheap. However, I did have some issues. When I called to order, the guy repeated back to me only part of my order. When I tried to confirm the portion he left out, he interrupted me and said«YEAH I GOTIT». When I got there to pick up our food, I was missing the part of the order I had tried to confirm with him — the part he said he’d ‘GOT’. They fixed it quickly, but why did it need to happen in the first place? Bubble tea was warm. I also ordered Scallops and Broccoli, and there were only four pieces of scallop in there, sliced as thin as a quarter. The food was great, but I wish the guy behind the counter wasn’t so rude and that my scallop dish actually contained scallops.

The food here is good, however it is on the greasy side. Prices are very reasonable, portions are plentiful, staff is friendly and appreciative, service is fast.

Yeung Ho Number One closed over several years ago. Yeung Ho II is crazy busy due to: great food and Marist College being directly across the street. The funny thing is that the food was always better in location number 2. They have great Chicken & Broccoli… the chicken IS chicken and it’s juicy. The broccoli is crisp and fresh tasting. Their spring rolls are a favorite for me because they’re never drenched in oil. The wonton soup is good and mega yellow(like all take-out wonton soups). They’re good for a quick fix everytime. *Interesting Fact –There are positively no yeung hos there. Very weird*

I have been eating Chinese food from this place for almost 15-years now. The food has ALWAYS been tasty, the staff more than courteous, and the prices more than fair. I have never had an issue with their food, or their staff. Never had food delivered so cannot speak for that process.

When I was at Marist I could often go for some Yeung Ho. Thankfully, there was some Yeung Ho to be had right across the street. I was and will forever be thankful for such ready access to Yeung Ho’s.

When there’s no other place open and I’ve used all of my meal swipes at school, I order a special combo for $ 8. It’s not anything special; super sweet and super salty sauces and mediocre noodles. Just what Americans love.

Quick, good and cheap Chinese food. $ 5 lunch special can’t be beat in the area. Inside could use a bit of a make over, but they’ve never led me astray. Only complaint Is their .50 cent terminal fee for cc under $ 8.00. Not sure that’s even legal.

Thank heavens for Yeung Ho 2! As far as Chinese delivery goes, this place is outstanding. The combos are where it’s at. Chicken & Broccoli with fried rice, egg roll, and soda — all for under $ 10. This is not exotic or gourmet Chinese food, let alone authentic, but it is exactly what you crave. I have lived in several other cities since I lived in Poughkeepsie, but no Chinese delivery joint has provided me with the same level of satisfaction. I can still picture opening the brown bag and removing the clear plastic lid from the aluminum tray to starting eating straight from the container. Any chance Yeung Ho 3 might be opening in Texas?
