Taco Time

Service was great, but man, that’s some disappointing food. I get that Northwestians aren’t exactly well versed in Latin cuisine, but I think I would’ve been happier with a freezer burrito. If you’re a person who dislikes any type of seasoning or spice, I guess this is your haven for Mexican food.

I went to Taco Time recently and it was awesome! lol ordered my food and got my drink. These new soda machine and super cool. We didn’t get a number and the person who brought me my food knew where i was. The service was fast, and the food was great! I would come back anytime!

Good, good, clean, clean — FRESH! Love this place, keep it up. Do wish the drive through was a bit faster. Overall great food though!

This taco time has been here in this location a long time and is always very clean with helpful, friendly staff. I am not a fan of taco time food in general, but will come here as opposed to other fast food because there are healthier, veggie options. Always appreciative a nice, clean place to eat a quick meal!

This is my fave place to eat Taco time food. It is always clean and the service is exceptional. I was even served at drive through with complements from the chef that «I’m a bit of a perfectionist and I hope you like your Tostada Taco salad «Indeed it was beautiful and tasted great considering most places would have served mushy food haphazardly thrown together — not here!!. Always been a great place to go to when I’m hungry. I also love the option of freestyle soda because then I feel like I’m controlling the sugar content of my Lime soda I like to get mixed with half seltzer water (a soda splurge I have once in a great while).

Best Tocotime in Washington. Food is hot, fresh and fast. Staff is nice. Dining room is clean. I would give them 6 stars but there is a lot of long haired staff in the kitchen and not one hair net and the parking lot is not travel friendly it’s a little small and hard to get in and out of. But it is good eats.

So this is a first for me to review a «fast food» restaurant. Being that I’m an owner of a small restaurant in a neighboring town I guess I can be pretty critcial. With that being said I was floored at the staff of this restaurant. They all worked in unison, very stress free environment. The staff was SO friendly which for some reason I just hadn’t expected it. We were greeted first thing through the door by a gentleman who seemed to be the manager? Then the girl taking our order was so pleasant. The entire time we sat eating the girls were wiping tables and interacting with the customers even offering to clear their tables.
The manager seemed to be taking a break for a bite to eat when a line formed very suddenly at the front. With no hesitation he popped up to help. Wasn’t even bothered by the interruption.
I wanted to grab him before we left to let him know how wonderful his staff is but he was busy helping at the drive through window when we left.
Before leaving I hit the restroom and on my way caught a glimpse into the back kitchen which looked spotless even after their dinner rush.
Seriously can’t get over the service. Smiling, helpful, hard workers and just all around great environment.
Applause all around. Keep up the great atmosphere, great management and hard work.

We don’t have Taco Time in SoCal so when I stumbled on this place it blew fast good expectations out of the park! First my food was cheap, and then it came on an actual plate, hot and plentiful. I got the enchilada platter and it was just like the enchiladas at a sit down. Very impressed!

best fast food ever. mahi tacos… what!!! my new top choice for a drive-​thru, some of the things i try and avoid the older i get. this stuff was hot, fresh, cripsy and DEEEE-​LICIOUS. i shall drive through, again, thank you.

Its some of the best fast food you can get in a drive through. Get the fish soft taco.

After hearing a radio ad touting their locally sourced pinto beans, I went in for «Fresh, fresh!» to take home to my hubby. Ordered the Southwest Chop Salad with Beans, knowing he’d love the crisp lettuce and corn and bean salsa topping. Twelve miles later, I opened the bag to discover the salads had been topped with chicken. If he wasn’t vegetarian, it might have been a «Woohoo; you paid for beans and got meat!» but it meant he couldn’t/wouldn’t eat them. Speaking with the manager, it’s up to me to go back and they will «replace the meal or refund my purchase.» Ya think? Since they «don’t have the technology to process refunds» without the person being there, I’d recommend you double check your take-​out order before leaving. I’d recommend that they work on their customer service, too, so that, «Sorry,» is offered nearer the beginning of the report, not the very last thing the customer hears.

So so so so good. I got to school back east and taco time (especially the chicken soft taco) is a MUST when I’m back in town.

Absolutely delicious. You can literally taste the freshness when you bite into the tacos, and, unlike the alternative taco restaurant choice in town, this restaurant is almost always correct with orders. It wasn’t until recently that I was introduced to this establishment by a friend of mine, and I’m so glad he did. Without Taco Time, everyone in Poulsbo would have to rely on KFC/​Taco Bell for Mexican inspired food, so it’s quite a blessing that not only is the alternative in close proximity, but it’s actually GOOD.
The restaurant is maintained adequately, I have yet to notice any glaring cleanliness issues. The staff seems competent, friendly, and you don’t need to wait all that long for your food. The ambiance and décor of the restaurant is rather pleasing as well, I find myself humming or singing along to a classic rock song whenever I visit. All in all, I’m rather satisfied with Taco Time. Taco Time is well-​known to local residents for their freshness and has been since their inception back in 1962. Every order is made to your specifications with fresh, hand-​chopped vegetables, freshly grated cheese (not from a bag!) and local ingredients delivered daily. They make their own hot sauce in the restaurant each day.
My favorite thing at Taco Time is the 2 Crispy Taco (w/​ground beef) meal deal, with a large side and large Coke. The best part is, that if I get two of these meals, it’s barely over $ 10. What a bargain for a family dinner. You will absolutely love the FRESH ingredients and cleanliness that has become Taco Time culture.
Drive thru service and dining room service are available. Both are easy, fast and efficient.
