Awesome jack in the box! Great service, friendly staff. Clean bathrooms. You can never go wrong with the their soda machine, endless soda and flavor options. The cherry Vanilla Coke is my personal fave. If you are looking for a quick relaxing stop, this place is a no brainier.

Horrible food and horrible service! I have been here many times before and for the past few months they almost always screw up my order. I have complained to the manager enough where he recognizes me and my family. Today the buns on my burgers were terribly stale(hard). I took the drive back to the location to return the burgers and get my money back. Once again, the manager acted like he didn’t care. He also duped me on returning my money and gave me less than what I paid for the burgers. I didn’t realize till I got home. He also kept my receipt! I wish my friend still worked at Corporate so we could do something about this franchise location and make it delicious like it once was! As of today, I will never return to this Jack in the Box location. I do not not like to write bad reviews but I feel others deserve to know, «Be CAUTIOUS of this place and ALWAYS check your food before you get home.»

Jack in the is one of my go to spots for stress eating. This particular JITB doesn’t disappoint, it is actually very clean and airy, even if the restaurant and parking lot itself is on the smaller side. I’m sure many more stress sessions will be convened here in the future.

My husband and I have been to quite a few Jack in the Box restaurants. We usually go to one closer to our house but this one is in rout to our parents house. We always order the same thing and the last 4 times we have gone to this location they have either done something wrong or forgotten an item entirely. We always order: 1 Bacon Ultimate Cheese Burger with no mayonnaise but with extra bacon. 3 jalapeño poppers. 3 egg rolls. 1 Jacks Spicy Chicken Sandwich, mayonnaise ONLY. The mini cookies and one medium coke. I understand it isn’t a normal order and not a simple one. The mayonnaise situation is annoying haha I love mayo but my husband hates it! Anyways… The first time we ordered it there was cheese on the spicy chicken. The second time we got no egg rolls. The third time there was everything including cheese on the spicy chicken. And just last night, the fourth time, we did not receive any jalapeño poppers. These four visits have been over a two month time span. The inside is pretty clean, I have been to more well kept locations. They are fast with their orders though, maybe too fast… I tried very hard to like this place and gave them may tries, but four strikes is quite a lot :(

First, service at midnight sucks. Even the service before midnight sucks. Some young Mexican girl took our order through the drive thru, she didn’t understand at all how to do my order. I ordered one large chocolate with strawberry milkshake, one large chocolate milkshake with no wip cream and one large Oreo milkshake. She didn’t know what I meant by I want chocolate and strawberry together so I had to explain that to her, she was very rude. Then when I got to the paying window there was many employees at the window laughing for one, and the Mexican manager I suppose, with the«so hot» red lips on his neck, was extremely rude and acted like he didn’t know how to speak english, and he was quickly giving us our WRONG order, just rushing my order out the door laughing in my faces like it was all some joke cause I ordered something I guess«special». I ended up with a strawberry and chocolate shake with no wip, a regular chocolate shake with wip, and a Oreo shake. Then we asked them for a drink holder and he gave us just a 2 drink holder. The costumer service at night is very very low service and I suggest they take english class because I couldn’t understand one word that came out of any of there mouths. Very rude, very rushed, and wrong order. I will make sure next time I go there that they have there full undivided attention on me so I can get the correct order.

This JITB location used to be hit or miss on quality and service. The past year they’ve made a big push to improve and have a really friendly, outgoing manager. Whether its drive thru or dine in I always look forward to his positive attitude. Now the lot is small and during peak hours you get trapped in your parking spot while you wait for drive thru traffic to clear. The exit to the drive thru is one car length long, so sometimes it is hard to grab n go because the stoplight traffic prevents you from pulling out. Overall one of the best JITB locations in San Diego. Do they screw up your order? Sometimes, but they always make it right without any attitude. Thumbs up Jack.

BESTCUSTOMERSERVICE. I love this place. I have a compliment for the management here: great job. I stopped by today to get a spicy chicken burger and an iced mocha. Very juicy chicken and great drink. The young man who took my order making sure that every thing was okay and asked how was the service? Thumps up for them. I have never get any bad service from them nor bad food /drink. Yes, they are all Mexican but they are very polite. Keep up your good work. I will definitively come back

Now, I am not a fan of fast food, but will have to say that this particular Jack in the Box has amazing customer service. I have been their two times in the last 30 days due in part because my 5 year old daughter really likes their Grilled Cheese kids meal that comes with a choice of fries, apple slices and caramel or carrots and a drink with a choice of soda or milk. The reason why I gave a fast food restaurant 4 stars was not because of the tasty food, but because I really appreciate good customer service. I ordered the kids meal through the drive through and before I left the screen to go up to the window, the cashier asked me to confirm the order of the screen. This is a great step towards insuring customer satisfaction by making sure that the order is correct. Then when I got to the window, I was greeted with a smile. I was given the milk and asked if I wanted a straw. Then, when the rest of the meal was delivered, the cashier asked me if I wanted the apple slices in the bag with the hot grilled cheese or separate. Most fast food restaurants would just shove it all together instead of being contentious to keep hot and cold food separate.

This Jack in a Box needs improvement! The manager need to be more aware that who ever is making the orders is screwing up and has been doing this for a while. I live a minute away and I’ve bought food here numerous times. They make my order wrong more than half the time. Sometimes I have to keep the order because I don’t want to wait in their slow drive thru and that’s not ok. Last night, me and my boyfriend ordered a spicy chicken sandwich with no mayo. When we got to the window we confirmed no mayo with the girl taking the order(who was Caucasian) and it was even on the receipt. She gave us our order and we drove to the end of the drive way and stopped so I could check my order. ITWASSTILLWRONG! So we drove around to get back in line at the drive thru(four cars in front of us). My boyfriend spoke into the speaker thingy where they take the orders and told them that the order was wrong and it was not suppose to have mayo and that it says«NOMAYO» on the receipt. We pull up to the window ten or so minutes later and there’s a Hispanic girl there(but the Caucasian girl just helped the people in the car a head of us). She has a new sandwich in her hand and hands it to my boyfriend and my boyfriend hands her the sandwich with the mayo. This female says«no, it’s not mayo, it’s melted Swiss cheese». It was hard to make out what she was saying and we did not realize it til we pulled off. We were both extremely annoyed that they took no responsibility for screwing up the order. There absolutely was mayo on the sandwich and the mayo and the Swiss cheese was on opposite sides of the sandwich and the cheese wasn’t even melted! I tried to call and speak to a manager the following morning but the number on the receipt(858−486−1170) makes that sound for the hearing impaired. How horrible is that!

I don’t know why, but this location seems to be very slow… The quality of the food is about the same as the other JITB’s. But sometimes the service is not quite as efficient(slower time, incorrect orders)

This review is base on service, speed, and cleanliness. The food is what you expect at Jack in the Box. It is what it is and I’ve yet to see a difference in food quality/taste between locations. Anyways, I’m not sure why this place has poor reviews. I go here pretty often and the service at the drive thru and counter have always been good. One time I did see them give a woman a wrong order. However, the guy was very apologetic and even offered her another item. I can at least say the Latino guy manager/worker is courteous.

Not sure why everyone hates on this Jack in the Crack so much but it hasn’t done me wrong yet. The steak teryaki bowl was a little weird tasting and the oreo milkshake was like getting a colonic but the servers were nice and the coupons I had helped soften the blow of two jack’s spicy chickens and the eggroll(which tasted a little stale). As long as I keep getting coupons in the mail, I’ll keep going here.

haha ok it’s sad. I come here because it’s 5 minutes away from my house and a cheap meal to boot. The drive through is a pain the ass though! You have to turn right to go straight, and you have to wait for all the cars to go before you can. It’s worse during peak traffic hours because the surrounding lanes are near an intersection!
