Placed an order then called back with questions which turned into cancelling the order. Person on the phone was rude, didn’t give us a total and didn’t ask what we wanted to drink. The pizza may taste just fine but I’m going to give my business to the establishment that doesn’t treat it’s callers like they are bothersome.

Not a bad pizza place. Better than the major chains but not the best Poway has to offer.

This is our go to pizza for a night in. Staff/owners are always super nice. Food is extremely reasonably priced and significantly better than the other local shops. Buffalo wings are a must!

I went back and forth on what rating to give this place and I think I’ve decided on 3.5 stars, though that isn’t an option unfortunately! My boyfriend and I were wanting pizza and found Rosaria Pizza on Unilocal with great reviews. We decided to give it a try since we were in the area anyway. We did plan on eating there, but as the reviews state, this is a VERY hole in the wall joint. It literally only has 4 tables and it’s so small that it is really warm inside because of the ovens in the back. We obviously decided against eating in and ordered our pizza to go. The nice man working behind the counter said it would be about 20 minutes so we went over to CVS to look around while we waited. We came back about 15 minutes later and it was ready to go! We ordered a large pizza so we would have left overs for lunch the next day and left overs we had! The slices were huge and a large is definitely large! It was only $ 9.00 too which is really cheap for pizza in my opinion. I thought the pizza was quite tasty. We went with pepperoni and green bell pepper. In order of taste, I liked the crust, bell peppers(they were cooked perfectly for a pizza), sauce and cheese. The crust is not New York style flat, but it isn’t hand tossed either, it’s between the two and it was very soft. The cheese though, was a bit rubbery feeling for my taste. My boyfriend was the opposite though. He really liked the sauce, toppings, cheese and then crust. Overall, we thought it was very good for the price though and I’d recommend it if you were in the area or needing to feed a lot of people.

I absolutely love this place. We order catering for meetings at work and I also go there for a slice to go when I have the craving. Such sweet people working here, fair prices and delicious food. Try the Veggie pizza-AMAZING!

Walked into the kitchen to find a huge box of pizza. It didn’t look too great so I was hesitant to eat it but after a tough workout at the gym, I was hungry for some carbs. Popped it in the microwave for 45 seconds and was pleasantly surprised. One of the best slices of pizza I’ve had in a long time. The dough was unlike any other pizza I’ve had before as it was softer and not crispy like I’m used to but I really enjoyed it. I will definitely order my pizza here from now on!

The only place in Poway where we eat pizza. Fast, friendly and fresh. Good price and good people.

Impressed AGAIN! As all of us regulars know, Rosarios does not have a database to look up their customers by phone number(which I hope they have someday) HOWEVER; — when we called, they remembered who we were, where we used to live… and remembered that they delivered our last pizza late a few months ago. Not only do they have incredible pizza, but they make an effort to know their customers. I love supporting our local pizza place knowing they work hard to make their customers happy.

Good pizza and pretty cheap. No delivery charge and fast. Not a huge fan of the sauce because it’s sweeter than I like but for delivery poza in poway it’s my go to place …

This pizza is so good it will surprise you! It’s run by a Vietnamese family that have been running this place for over 25 years. They know how to make pizza. There is definately a language barrier that makes ordering a bit of a challenge. –1pt. Get past that and you will be glad you did. Stick to the pizza. I wasn’t impressed with the salad.

I’m a Chicago transplant so I know a good pizza when I see/taste/eat one. That said the vast majority of pizzas found in SoCal are pretty lousy. This place makes a consistently good Chicago/New York style pizza. Be sure to ask them to go heavy on the sauce though. The sandwiches are awesome too. Good prices, better value! Nice friendly family business that really wants and cares about their customers!

My favorite pizza in Poway. I really like their sauce which is the number one reason I go there. Thus is the only pizza that my girlfriend eats so we go there often. Also, who can beat a huge slice for$ 2. Always friendly and helpful.

As an SD native, my boyfriend grew up with this place as his family’s go-to for pizza. It’s not even in their neighborhood but they found it worth the drive. So we finally got to check it out and I saw for myself what the hype was about. Actually, he hadn’t had it in a while, so he was hoping it was as good as he remembered. It was! They do deliver, in a 7 mile radius I believe, so that’s good to know for next time. Went in this time, and the owner happened to be in a chatty mood. He’s a nice guy, and made us glad we were supporting a local small business. They’ve been around for a while, and it’s clear by their food why! We ordered a half pepperoni and half olive medium pie, and a «large» garlic bread. It was way more than enough. The pizza was delicious. Not too doughy in the middle, or too much or little of anything, and cooked perfectly around so the crust had a nice crunch to it. The garlic bread was made on a fat loaf, seriously a whole loaf, of French bread, which tasted fine, but probably would have been better suited for a pasta main dish. We’ll go for breadsticks or wings next time. But regardless, at $ 2.50, not bad at all. The whole order only came out to $ 11. Already looking forward to the next time there!

This place definitely makes good pizza! It is run by Vietnamese employees but they sure do know how to make good American pizza. I ordered the Deluxe which was really delicious. They don’t put as much cheese on their pizzas as other places do but I prefer it because it makes it a lot less greasy. Besides pizza they also offer pizza bread and subs which I have yet to try but I’ll be back for sure!

The sandwiches are amazing! We only come here for the sandwiches. 16 inches Philly cheesesteak for only $ 6.95 Best sandwich ever! The pizza here used to be amazing. We loved it but the last few pizzas have been tasting like cardboard and the cheese has been weird and tastes super funny. It’s a bummer because this place has been our spot and we have told so many others about it too. Please go back to your original ingredients we miss your super amazing pizzas.

As much as I wanted to like this place for being a small business, I believe there may have been a change in ownership that changed the quality described under the current reviews. Definitely the first Vietnamese owned pizza shop I have ever encountered. May very well be my last. We came here based on ratings and with a desire to try something new and local to our home. The website isn’t listed on Unilocal but can be found at: . It doesn’t list all the specials, but there are some decent deals if you are looking for quantity over quality(e.g. family special: 3 large 16″ 2 topping pizzas with antipasto salad for $ 27 carry out). Pretty cheap overall(but still not as cheap as costco). We opted to try the supreme pizza(Rosaria’s Works) to test the quality of pizza compared to other places we frequent. We also ordered a side of garlic bread since folks commented on that side item. There was no special assigned to our order, so the total came out to a little under $ 30. The garlic bread was super disappointing. It’s a good sized loaf that seemed relatively fresh(didn’t appear to have been just baked). The problem was in the preparation with only butter and garlic powder. Although the bread seemed fresh and soft, it lacked flavor. They definitely needed to add some chopped garlic, or even more garlic powder and more butter. Thankfully we had a side of marinara sauce to couple with the bread(doesn’t come with the order). Even so, we could not finish the bread as it was just filler. Explains the low cost. Would not recommend ordering the garlic bread. The supreme pizza carried similar issues due to the crust. The XL size was comparative to a standard costco pizza, but immensely lacked flavor. When you compare the pizza to(again to a costco pizza), it did not stand out in the amount toppings — average to mediocre at best — or the flavor. It was as standard of a pizza you could get but the squishy unflavored crust subtracted from the experience. Overall, the pizza wasn’t bad. It was palatable. But it definitely wouldn’t be a four or five rating. Sounds like the sandwiches may be worth trying but if you’re a pizza joint that has not mastered a pizza. it does not call for return business. We wanted to like you Rosaria — but we prefer Costco over you(it’s not even that great of a pizza). Again, if you’re hunting quantity — this place may work for you. Otherwise, if you’re looking for a stellar pizza. hunt elsewhere. 2.5 rounded down.
