Rosa is the best. She mentioned how she had been there since 5am(mind you it was 1pm) and she was still extremely nice and made one of the best sandwiches I’ve had from subway thus far. Thank you Rosa

This is the only subway location that I’ve been to(and I’ve been to so many) that doesn’t have more choices for sauces like bbq sauce… etc. The guy made my sandwich and didn’t even wash his hands after touching many things. You would be better off driving to another subway.

A dead car battery after a target shop left me hungry and stranded. I sauntered into Subway. The young man behind the counter was nice enough to offer to jump start my car after his shift. Good food AND friendly service.

I’ve been to my fair share of Subway locations to know I shouldn’t expect great customer service when I walk in. I arrived at this location a couple hours after they opened. When I walked in, there was no one in sight to greet me. The place was clean, however, which I liked. Eventually, a woman came out to help me with my order. She made little eye contact and did not smile once. Her words were dry and routine. While I sat down and ate my sandwich, however, I noticed she was all smiles and giggles with her co-worker. At least fake a smile… no one wants their sandwich with a side of disgruntlement.

We went after trick or treating and it was open and the guy behind the counter was friendly enough. He didn’t want to be working on Halloween but he was polite and kind to all of us. Still good. Only issue was the avocado and tuna looked old and that was a little unsettling.

Clean as I’m here just a couple hours after they opened. I worked at a sub shop… I get it. They(the girls working the morning shift) could use a lesson in customer service. They weren’t rude… just standoffish… like«let me hurry and serve her and get it over with» A little eye contact and a smile goes a long way with people who’re spending money.

Worst subway experience ever. No wonder they have low star review here. This guy doesn’t seem like he wants to be here. How can u guys keep some one like that. Throwing bread around and slamming tray. Making faces to an 65 year old lady that have a hearing aid in her ear. Rolling his eyes and it wasn’t even her fault. I ask a question about catering. And man nothing but attitude. Talk back and rude and even said some bad words. One of his co workers was shock and looked at me and was like sorry. Won’t be back at this location but still will eat at Subway. Need to train your staff. Embarrassing for your franchise.

Today they made me a picture perfect sandwich. The place was clean. I made a semi… overly complicated order they did it with no issue or dirty looks like other subways tend to do. Overall, I was satisfied with the visit.

I had a coupon for a regular footlong sandwich for $ 5. When paying, the clerk says that my philly cheese steak sandwich does not qualify. He charges me Something like $ 9:40. It did not have more than one ounce of meat and only two very thin slices of jack cheese. This was my last time going to Subway. I should have left without buying the sandwich which I regret I did not.

I went in here yesterday with a coworker. When we walked in nobody was up front for at least a minute. We thought they were getting robbed or kidnapped or something. When the kid finally came out, he proceeded to run his hands through his hair and immediately put gloves on to make our food. No hand washing. The two teens working here we’re not professional and provided the most lackluster customer service ever. They didn’t seem pleased to be at work, rather annoyed actually. I’m sure subway can find better employees and people that would be very grateful to have a job in this economy.

This Subway location has THEWORSTSTAFF. My husband and I moved into the area about a year ago, and have been to this Subway location on many occasions. In general, the staff here seems very young, disinterested, and not customer-service oriented. We’ve often left there in complete awe about how awful the place is run. Nonetheless, we’ve gone back several times out of pure convenience. There was only a single visit where we actually had an enjoyable experience. There was a gentleman there(older than the high school or college aged kids that seem to keep getting employed here) — maybe in his late twenties or early thirties — who was so outstanding and friendly. It was definitely NOT the norm. Who knows — perhaps he was the store owner? Geez… finally someone who actually seemed to care! Anyhow, after my husband and father-in-laws last experience at this Subway location, WEWILLNOTBERETURNING. My husband and father-in-law(FIL) visited this Subway on Saturday, April 19th, around lunch time. From the moment they walked in, the employee who was«helping» my FIL seemed to already have an attitude. Yet, as he started to interact with my FIL, it became apparent that he was just being out right RUDE. My FIL ordered a tuna sandwich and at some point, just as the employee spread the tuna on the bread, my FIL said, «Oh, I’m sorry… but I actually wanted to get that toasted». The employee said, «Well, you can’t now… it’s too late… I already spread the tuna». My FIL was a little taken a back by his remark, and said, «Can you maybe take the tuna off, place it to the side, toast the bread & then place the tuna back on?». The RUDE employee said, «No, I can’t. It’s too late». I’M SORRY… but your only job is to greet people with a smile, be respectful of your customers(the people who you’d think you’d want to please so that they keep coming back), and to make the sandwich that the customer orders. What kind of employee tells a Subway customer that they CAN’T make the sandwich that they want!!! This kid was a jerk from the get-go…a real loser of an employee. How he got a job(and keeps one there) is beyond me. My FIL it such a sweet man, he let it go and did not raise a scene. However, his feelings were hurt… and the bottom line is that he did NOT get the sandwich he wanted. All in all, this Subway is AWFUL. There is a smaller Subway store over in Carmel Mountain(about 1 mile away). Yes, it’s a smaller location but the people have always been very friendly there. The employees at the Carmel Mountain location tend to be pretty young, too, but you can tell that they received better training, have a clearer focus on the customer’s experience, and will make exactly the sandwich you’d like. If the owner of the Poway Subway on Pomerado Road reads this… PLEASE(for your own sake) circle back and take a look at your staff. Are they really the ones you want representing your store? I’ve got to tell you… you are going to continue LOSINGCUSTOMERSFAST if you keep these type of people employed. To everyone else — don’t go to this location until they get things straightened out. You’re better off going to another Subway location, or eating at one of the many other food options in that shopping plaza(there’s a decent amount to choose from).

Had to grab some grub around 7am this morning, Sunday April 6th, and decided to go to this Subway to get a semi healthy option. No one was at the counter when we came in, as we were the only customers in store. When the employee came out from the back we told him we weren’t quite ready and he walked into the back with a disgruntled look. When we did order I got a sweet onion chicken teriyaki with no cheese, which I never get toasted and I’ve never received comments about before. Subway Employee: do you want to toast this? Me: no SE: Are you sure? Cold chicken is weird. Me: No, that’s okay. I like cold chicken. SE: Okay, but it’s not my fault if you get sick. Actually, if your refrigerated sweet onion chicken teriyaki makes me sick, it is in fact your fault. I have never in my life been so shocked by a restaurant employee’s words. I know that that was just one employee at this location, but his comments completely put us off and make us never want to eat at this location again. Here’s hoping that the chicken doesn’t make me sick…

As far as Subway goes, this location was on par today. The meatballs in my sub were fresh and the bread was okay. Service was quick. Seems to be a lot of new workers here. Location is very small but most people seem to be here for takeout. I don’t think that a Subway necessarily ever deserves higher than 3 stars so this is about what I’d expect without any discernible disappointments on this trip.

I don’t usually Unilocal but this was the worse experience I’ve ever had. One of the employees, Pat, was so rude. Arguing back with a customer doesn’t say good customer service. I’m not giving this location a one star. Just that particular employee. I wish I could give him a negative.

I love subway! But this particular location seems to have the worst staff. The girl who was preparing sandwiches, complained to a 10 year old customer, who obviously had a French accent and was ordering because her mother didnt speak English, telling her rudely«I seriously can’t hear what you’re saying» I was surprised by how short this employees temper was… Anyways when I was ordering, the same employee was speaking so quietly I couldn’t hear HER! I was thinking… Seriously?! For someone who apparently can’t hear… She can’t speak clearly or loud enough either! She also put minuscule amounts of the veggies I asked for! And hardly any avocado! I hate when they do that! And they don’t want to give you more when you ask! It’s their«regular amount given»… Please! They just don’t want to spend any extra energy to cut open another avocado. Also the cashier was a complete moron… Looked like he was high or something and had no respect. He was not fit to work the front by any means… How do these people get hired?!

Call me a fuddy-duddy, but I find piercings unappetizing, and every staff member of this Subway has them in abundance. Service is subpar as well. On my last visit, an experienced staff member was teaching a newbie the ropes. She gave her minimal instruction on how to slice the avocado for my sandwich, so I ended up with two blobs of avocado in lieu of slices. It was about half the amount I usually get at Subway and covered less than half of my sandwich due to its blobular nature. When I asked for some additional avocado to cover the rest of my sandwich, I was told I would be charged for it. Seems to me if the employee screws up, I shouldn’t have to pay an extra 60 cents for it. Next, the cash register ran out of tape as we paid. When the register staff got it replaced, he had already forgotten why we were standing there. He had taken our money, but he had to be reminded we had been waiting for a receipt. Altogether not a great Subway. The best one around is off Camino Del Mar behind Westview high school.

I agree with Robert. They messed up my order. First they packed and charged my credit card for 3 sandwiches instead of 2. I got suspicious about the type of sandwiches in bag and asked to check it out(I asked twice whether she has right sandwiches). When I reached home, I was surprised. I made 12 mile round trip to store just to show her negligence as I care of about the small business(I own couple of franchises as well)
