If you’re in Prescott looking for somewhere to chill and have a good time, check out Annie’s Attic. There’s live music and a comfy, casual seating area around the stage. They had a pretty decent band the night I was there. Mixed original songs with covers. Bar service was very speedy and the drinks were pretty potent as I remember…(actually probably why I DON’T remember ;) It’s located on the same strip, «Whiskey Row,» as many of the other ‘watering-holes’ in Prescott so definitely not out of the way to check out!

Annie’s Attic is the bar on top of Coyote Joe’s on Whiskey Row. First off, let me say that I like the bar. It has a nice vibe, the beer is relatively cheap, and they have a decent selection. I would certainly rate it higher except for one key issue: The music sucks. I’m not opposed to occasionally hearing a funk-rock band struggle through ‘Hard To Handle’ by the Black Crowes or play a John Cougar Mellencamp song, but every single time you go? No thanks. I mean, I get it, small town, not a wide variety of bands to choose from, but I can’t believe the best they can do is having cover bands play every weekend. Great happy hour, though.
