The service was fine but the food was completely terrible. Bland and expensive. $ 13 for a sandwich and fries.

If you only have one day to visit Prescott, this is definitely a «must see». Full of character and history, their menu and food will not disappoint you. It’s a real taste of the old west whether you are there just for drinks and appetizers, or for lunch or dinner. I take all our out of town visitors there.

Very interesting place. I loved the ambiance. The service was good. The onion rings were pretty good. I didn’t care for my veggie flat bread at all. It was very bland. The tomato basil soup was ok. The others in the party enjoyed their meals. They all had salads & a steak dish. I recommend to avoid the veggie dishes & order the steak.

If you are a tourist and you want to visit a historic restaurant, fine, but if you want good food, skip it. Over priced for what you get. FUN place for a drink or show, seems to be a hangout for some of the locals.

I love The Palace, but my favorite server has not been there in several weeks. Samantha kept me coming back, she sure knows how to make you feel like you wanna return time after time. I hope to see her soon!

It is pricey. And touristy. I have ordered the catfish and fish and chips just because I am a little nervous about ordering a 32 — 40 dollar steak from a tourist-y location such as this. Catfish was 18, and I believe Fish and Chips was 15.00. It was a decent meal, but like I said… you are paying for the experience of eating at a historic spot. The bar is original and is the bar that people like Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday drank at from my understanding. That alone is pretty cool. :) Anything on Whiskey Row is going to be a little more pricey — but as far as food goes, there are better restaurants on the street. Go in and grab a drink — eat somewhere else.

I’m reviewing for the ambiance only, cuz let’s face it I didn’t come for food & drinks(the Jack & Coke was okay). The bartender was super nice and told the story of the place through surviving multiple fires. Crazy to think that bar was dragged out of the burning building by a mule team! Also crazy to imagine how many different people have sat at the same bar since the 1870s! Just that experience alone is worth enough to pay a visit. They also have artifacts and old photos lining the walls and display cases around the interior, and I really recommend you check those out. We were going to go for happy hour wings but found out they were only serving a select Christmas Eve dinner and there was no happy hour. Would have been nice to have that posted somewhere but that’s okay.

Decided to take a drive up to Prescott for a little staycation. Our first mission was to find a great place for dinner. I was in the mood for some good meat! Well we sure found it here. I chose the prime rib and the husband chose full rack of ribs. Let me tell you our food was beyond delicious. I could barely move afterwards. I can not forget to mention the service was wonderful. Ray took very good care of us and he made the meal perfect. I highly recommend this place!

As another reviewer said, I didn’t actually eat here but just walked in and took a look around which was worth 5 stars for the ambiance and vibes you pick up in such a historic place. On my next visit to Prescott, I’d like to spend more time here and have a drink at the bar and soak up more of the old west character of the place. My friends who live here guided me to this place. They said the whole block burned down some years ago and the patrons of the bar moved the massive bar outside the building to save it from the fire. It is a spectacular piece of woodwork and worth the visit just to see. I can imagine Doc Holliday and Wyatt Earp in a place like this.

Today, was not a good experience. I sat in the patio area where it was infested by bees(the waitress also confirmed that there were bees back in the cook area). The worst part of the experience was the service, plus the rum cooler drink that had lipstick on it, which I noticed after a few sips, then had to give back for a new one. You’d think that one would apologize for such a health hazard but didn’t, then brought me a new drink and still charged me for it. When I got the check, the waitress didn’t even say ‘have a good night’ and just walked away. The last time I came was about three years ago and I don’t think I will ever come back. It draws a good crowd but simply overrated.

The saloon vibe is awesome and costumes that the waitresses wear are on point for the look they are going for. I didn’t eat here but I had a drink. Ok I wanted to love this place butttt if your on WHISKEYROW and you have a sign outside that reads WHISKEYROW then PLEASE have a good selection of whiskey. They feature two mixed drinks with whiskey the«peacemaker«and the«Rough Rye-Der and that’s the one I had. not overly impressed. YOUNEED A GOODSELECTIONOFWHISKEY!!! They had 5 to choose… EPICFAIL However, the waitresses were very nice and did attempt to strike up conversation.

Was in Prescott looking at property looking around the town decided to have dinner at the palaces. Went in and was seated. Salena was are waitress and she was very sweet, and very helpful and we ask how she like the area .and she told us the good and the bad of the town and what went on there it takes outgoing people like Selena .to make customers want to come back and feel welcome. Now I had toThe porterhouse pork chop dinner .it was great mashed Potatoes was excellent. And the green beans and carrots was done just right .I usually don’t like green beans down like but they was good. The inside of the place was done in a saloon style setting which was very cool it was quiet not noisy… And at a good price for dinner well most definitely come back here again and thanks again Salena for making us feel welcome Eddie

Authentic wild west saloon with doors wide(and high) enough to fit a horse though, as back in the day they did that very thing. I love that the interior(dark wood bar, moulded ceiling) has remained antique. It’s so beautiful inside! The staff dress in period costume as well. This isn’t a cheesy theme park though. The food is legitimately good. My favorite dish is the vegetarian pasta with artichokes. When I lived in Phoenix I regularly made the pilgrimage here just to eat it.
