The prices here are off the charts. $ 4 for a hot tea. I recommend buying your drink in Vegas rather than getting stung here

ok, this location is not owned by «starbucks» it is one of the busiest in the state of nv. on a normal weekday it takes around 45 mins to get from las vegas to primm. well i left las vegas at 10 am. wednesday morning, going back to la. someone got in an accident on nippton rd. it took me 2 hours and 45 mins to get to primm. i had to stop there to go potty. the line at starbucks was 20 or 30 people long. after the restroom, i wanted iced coffee. i waited in line for 15 mins, then i was close enough to hear the cashiers and customers. wow!!! one customer with 2 friends order drinks… but, they want drinks that are special. breakfast sandwiches with no cheese, the cashier told them the total. and she started swearing at them. omg. wow!!!

Overpriced and on top of that they charge you for simple things other Starbucks don’t charge for — including $ 1.50 for water.

Unbelievably rude servers and the drinks are a good dollar more than normal. Just skip it if you can.

Slowest Starbucks I have ever been to. They make about 1 drink per minute. If you are in a hurry, buy the cold Starbucks drinks from the convenience store instead

Location is so awful!!! Unfriendly baristas that make horrendous drinks at obnoxious prices. It’s very frustrating as a loyal Starbucks customer to come to a location like this.

They get a star for friendly service. Otherwise this location sucks. The drinks are priced higher, they take longer, and they don’t taste as good as they should.

No Rewards accepted! Seriously! I will NEVER give my $$$$ to a location that does not honor my past business. FAIL. Starbucks Home Office… why do you let this happen?

I wish I could have posted a video with my review, because the employees at this Starbucks were seriously moving in slow motion. It was almost comical. Does it really takes four people to make two drinks in five minutes? Two of them were talking, laughing and walking back and forth. Really anything but making drinks for the line of people waiting. Oh, and can’t forget about the guy behind the register who was moving at a snail’s pace. It’s no wonder why there was a line out the door. Inefficiency at its finest!

This location is terrible. Subway right next door so it smells awful, I’ve been once before and waited over 15 minutes with just three people ahead of me, workers could not understand English. This morning I don’t know why I even bothered to stop in for a snack, two people ahead of me, Shqwanda was in no rush or sense of urgency whatsoever. Location is severely overpriced, about a dollar over what corporate stores are for both all beverages and pastries. I will never go back.

This location is not the friendliest and has an odd odor to boot. I think the reason it’s still open is location location location but a smile and some ventilation would help immensely.

I’ve stopped in here a number of times over the years on Vegas road trips. Over time, they’ve remodeled which has been a nice upgrade. Had both good and not so good experiences along the way. The latest, was a bit of a shock as I don’t recall the charge I experienced here before. When I asked for a cup of ice water after my wife just ordered a few drinks, I was told there was a charge for a cup with a lid. Otherwise, you could grab a self serve cup at the end of the bar for free. While I appreciate the free option, we were driving and I’ve had spills occur in the past due to no lid, especially with kids in tow! But really, $ 1.25 for a lid!!! That’s a bit much considering water is generally free at restaurants. I will also give props to those who have served here previously… I had a mocha sitting in the car for a few hours in traffic. When I arrived here on a previous trip, I had asked if they could add some steamed milk or pop it into the microwave to warm it up. The girl behind the counter just offered to make me a new one instead. Whoop whoop! Keep on Unilocal’n!

Some people diss the Starbucks in Barstow… I don’t know why because that one always moves efficiently. It’s clean and they accept ALL forms of payment. But this one here makes the Barstow location look like the Bellagio! Normal Saturday afternoon. I say normal because it wasn’t a holiday weekend. Or a fight weekend. Or even EDC weekend. First off, out of nowhere, the barista said they are NOT accepting debit/credit cards. Cash or Starbucks cards ONLY. Second, a normal $ 3.95 tall iced nonfat caramel macchiato became $ 5.25. WTF!!! Almost $ 10 for two SMALLSIZED drinks!!! Wack! Either you wait until you get into Vegas to get a Starbucks or wait until you get to Barstow. AVOIDTHISPLACE. Not to mention they’re slow because they were understaffed. At least 3 workers should be here at all times. One cashier and two drink makers. I’m sure those damn fattening Fraps for all these annoying teenagers are tedious to make. Staff more employees please!!! Took us almost 25 minutes to get two simple small iced coffees! 1 star by default. NEXT!

I was surprised to see that a venti iced green tea latte was over $ 7 with no add-ons –but by the time I ordered I was already craving it and went on with the order. Right as we got in line(with 4 ahead of us) and soon after another 5 after us I noted there were 5 bodies but only one on register and she and and another making drinks. None of the others walking in and out of back were acknowledging anyone. When I received my drink I noticed that the tip inch or more of the drink was foam. I wanted to ask for someone to make the drink a full venti but no one would acknowledge or attend to me waiting at the pickup window and the only cashier was clearly busy. I left and once the foam settled I realized I’d paid over $ 7 for less that friendly service and a glorified Grande beverage. I will attempt to attach the photo(no sips taken before photo)

I think the crew at this Starbucks got tired of people asking for cups of water/ice(in the desert? I wonder why!) because they have a sign on the front of their cash register saying that it will cost $ 1 for a tall, $ 1.50 for a grande cup, etc. of water. In that case you’re better off walking 20 feet to the convenience store inside the same rest area and grabbing a large bottle for the same price. Bonus, your water will not smell faintly like steamed milk. Anyway, yes it’s pricier than a regular Starbucks, and no, they don’t allow app users to redeem their rewards. I’m not surprised but at the same time it’s really annoying, of course. And their service and drinks are mediocre. My regular drink is an iced coffee. There was barely any actual coffee in my cup, it was just packed with ice. Rude. My friend’s coffee lid was punctured or something, because whenever she took a sip it’d dribble down on her. If you absolutely MUST have your Starbucks beverage, go ahead. If you can stomach different kinds of caffeine, the convenience store is a better bet. The only reason I’m giving the place 2 stars instead of 1 is that we were able to take some napkins and straws for later. which are both things that will soon be on lockdown too, I’m sure.

This is one of those minimalist Starbucks, located in a gas station with a mini Subway as well. So don’t expect a place to sit — there is only a six foot x one foot standing bench. And don’t expect that glorious Starbucks wifi. There isn’t any. It is, however, covered by the Primm Resort wifi, which will cost you $ 5 plus tax for one day. And you will pay $ 3.73 for a medium sized regular coffee.

I am struggling with how to rate this place. Here’s why: 1) This place is super clean and even though it a high traffic Starbucks they are on top of their location. 2) They made my drink perfect. I am one of those people who orders a drink different than the menu but they nailed it. 3) The baristas were awesome. They were super on top of ordering, very kind and conversational. So why am I struggling? Ok so the price is inflated. But, think about where you are. You are in the middle of no where getting a commodity in a place where thousands of other people travel to a week. It’s called supply and demand. I fully realize that getting my coffee at the only stop on the highway for 200 or so miles means I’m paying $ 1-$ 2 more. With all that said, I think giving them a 4 star review is perfect. Thank you, oasis Starbucks in the Chevron parking lot, for supplying me my espresso addiction for a long journey home after an awesome weekend in Vegas.

This Starbucks totally sucks. I knew it even before I went in the store. Its actually located in Primm, NV in front of Chevron gas station that has more than 30 gas pumps. Anyway, it is kind of located inside the convenient store that goes with the gas station with other franchise like Subway. I know Starbucks inside the hotels in Las Vegas overcharge but why here?! Seriously why are they charging so much here in Primm??? My grande size iced caramel macchiato was $ 5.55 without tax. Ridiculous! The worst thing about is that they didnt even make my drink the way I ordered it. I was more pissed because I paid so much for it. Oh and I asked for a cup of ice because I had iced tea in the car that I waned to drink cold with the boyfriend and she asked for $ 1.50 for just a cup of ICE. If you do crave Starbucks on your way back to California, stop by Statbucks on Lenwood Ave in Barstow. Theres actually 2 locations in that one exit and one with the drive thru opens late. Dont even bother to come here. Waste of time, money AND your drink is not made right.

Bless their hearts. This is practically the first Starbucks you hit when driving into Nevada. I haven’t come a single time and it NOT be busy, so I can sympathize with the workers and the crazies showing up here demanding caffeine. I will give them four stars for being a simple yet friendly Starbucks. Considering the volume of traffic coming through this Starbucks, there will be times that yes, they may even run out of your favorite concoction, but they make suggestions for what they may have if your ridiculous $ 7 Venti latte is unavailable. Tighten up, get creative if you have to, drink that coffee, and keep going! It’s about a half hour more to Vegas. ;-)

The service was friendly enough, but you are definitely going to pay«casino» prices here. A venti black iced tea and a tall coffee was just south of eight bucks. If you are traveling, and a coffee snob like me, you won’t have much choice. Either Vegas to the north or Barstow to the south, as the Starbucks in Baker is just a distant memory. There are gas pumps and restrooms nearby, along with your standard convenience store faire. I will return, as I have to have my SB fix while traveling up or down the 15.
