I’ve been relying on Hinkson’s the last two years for packing supplies and shipping boxes. The store manager is always friendly and helpful in getting a price quote.
The prices for the shipping tape does run a little bit more than, say Target or Staples. But if you don’t have a car/pay a shipping fee, then the extra 50 cents is not a big deal. Boxes here are half off compared to the UPS Store on Nassau St. Their boxes are $ 10 for a 18 X 18 X 18 box, while Hinkson’s is $ 4.99. Moreover, the customer service experience a million times better than the UPS Store in town. You actually find folks smiling, helpful, and not peeved about being there.
Definitely frequent Hinkson’s! They’re awesome!

I like this little small business. I like that their greeting card collection is slightly less pricey and a different style than what you can find at Paper Source. Friendly store dog, too!

HInkson’s has everything you need for a quick fix to stock up on home office supplies. I especially am fond of the mechanical pencils. The general shopper can find a bit more of the hard to find, higher end pens and notebooks. Also there is a great selection of planners for those who still enjoy logging their schedule in a daily or monthly planner.
Getting to downtown can be a bit of a hassle, but you live nearby or don’t mind the parking garage then is a convenient stop.

Hinkson’s has a very good selection of office and school supplies. Items tend to be toward the higher-end. They have more office supplies than the U-store. They have less school supplies. Things tend to be more expensive.

There are a couple of paper stores in the downtown princeton area, but if you need your basic office supplies– pens, markers, post-its, reams of paper, staplers, tape, etc– hinkson’s is where you should go. The prices are reasonable and they have a great selection of merchandise.
They carry moleskinne and rhodia notebooks, as well as basics like mead and composition books. They have a small selection of basic art supplies too. As I write a lot of notes I like to have a nice selection of good pens at hand, and hinksons has of all sorts of pens including sarasa, pilot, le pen, pens– all sorts of colors too! Definitely will be a future stop when I want to get a little something to cheer my desk up.
