At an AMAZING $ 0.75/pound, Addie’s has the cheapest wash/dry/fold service in town! They’re quick(they can usually turn your clothes around within 24 hours) and the detergent has the same scent as that one guy/girl you liked in high school who somehow smelled amazing despite, well, puberty. I’ve never used Addie’s as a laundromat, but I don’t need to, seeing as how dropping my laundry off is super cheap! Note: there is a ten-pound minimum, so if you come in with a small bag, be prepared to pay at least $ 7.50. Hours here are pretty good — last wash is much earlier on Mondays because the owners are trying to keep up with their orders, and it’s a smaller laundromat. Also, bear in mind that paying for laundry is cash only. Parking can be tough, so I’d recommend either parking on a side street or doing what I do, which is to park in front right behind the last real parking spot on the block. If you’re just dropping off clothing, you’ll be in and out, and this spot works perfectly(assuming no one else has already parked there… get off my lawn, fellow wash/dry/fold-ers!). Tony, who runs the place, is wonderful. After a while, he gets to know you by name and will even call you when your laundry is done! Come here and give these amazing people your business!
