Since new owner the quality has significantly plummeted!!! I used to love this place but I won’t be back again.

I have no beef with Better Burger Company! Their food is delicious and the portions generous. There’s more than one vegan/veggie option which is nice. The flavor combinations are well thought out and the product high quality. The sweet potato fries are like crack they’re so good. It’s super causal, there’s a drink fountain so you can all the refills you want, and plenty of seating. The space is open and inviting. When you walk in their menu is hung up overhead. You order and when they call your number you grab your food. There is plenty of seating and could accommodate a big party. They even have three dollar beers! Check it out, you won’t regret it. It’s the casualness of a burger with a twist of hipster.

Incredibly disappointing. Came in with a group(8 of us total), and for more than $ 100 what did we get? Mediocre burgers(beef burgers only; there was a hand-written sign on the register listing that they were out of all of their 10+ other options), flat/watered-down fountain drinks, rude service, and an HOURLONGWAIT. After my fourth time coming up to the counter and(politely) asking where our food was, they casually mentioned that someone had ordered 200 burgers only moments before we walked in the door. Now, that makes for an understandable delay, but it would only have been decent for them to warn us before we ordered. By the time we finally got our food, we all had to take it to go(as did the 10-or-so other groups waiting impatiently behind us in line) and it was bad: the cheese wasn’t melted on the cheeseburgers, the fries were generic, the bacon was cold. We got the wrong kind of rolls, and they stiffed us one whole order until I went up AGAIN to complain. It doesn’t take much to make me happy at a burger joint: decent food, decent service, decent speed. BBC had none of those things. Do not eat there.

Better than Macdonalds maybe. Burgers are very subjective, but I doubt most people would consider these to be anything special.

Eh burger was def not«better». Seasoning would be nice… I will maybe give one more try, but def lack luster.

Did they even Google what BBC was before putting it on the front of their building? Maybe they did… and they like it. I’m not one to judge. But damn. That’s either an epic win or fail.. depending on your sexual preferences

I would say this place is very OK. Burger was good although very greasy. I think for the price charged they can get a waiter to take the food order. It was a little confusing on what you were supposed to be doing in there.

First time I went here. I wasn’t impressed at all. It is better then fast food. But I order a well done burger and got a medium rare burger. When I had them re-cook it I got a completely different burger then I ordered. I wouldn’t recommend this place to any of my friends.

ATTENTION(Jan.2016): The place must have changed owners/management recently, and with that — its prices(UP) service(DOWN). Too bad — I was a regular, but now will have to find a better place for lunch.

Glad they have vegan options ! But they need to have baked fries instead of deep fried fries. Also, they should have more veggies and other more heathy side dishes instead of just greasy fries. More and more college students are health conscious and they need to have less processed food available.

Great spot for milkshakes and cheese fries at the end of the night when a lot of other Thayer street spots are closed or way too crowded. They use real cheese melted over the hot fries, not the fake nacho cheese stuff!

Went here with a friend to grab a bite to eat for an early dinner on our visit to Providence. It was a holiday week so there wasn’t much of a crowd inside, so we were able to order right away. The owner was super helpful in explaining the menu to us – even though we probably stared at it for about 5 minutes before ordering. For my meal, I decided to go with the chourico burger, which was a burger patty with chourico sausage on it. The burger was cooked well and was a good size at 10 oz. The meat was very flavorful and I also enjoyed the chourico with the crunchiness of the onion strings and the sweetness of the sauce. To top it all off, I got a very delicious coffee shake for free just for checking in on Unilocal. This wasn’t one of those shakes that’s filled with ice and coffee flavoring either – it was the real deal. Overall, we weren’t expecting much from this place, but were pleasantly surprised. Tasty food, friendly service, and great prices – oh and a free shake for checking in, definitely a place worth checking out if you are craving a burger.

First time here, my chipotle burger was so bland, my hopes were pretty high, after hearing that BBC specialty are burgers themselves. And I myself do enjoy a great bacon burger. The sweet potato fries were great, and had nice crunch/crisp taste. Although BBC did offer superb customer service, and convenient parking which is a plus. But I can honestly same I’m not one of there fans.

I had a veggie burger and sweet potato fries and was generally impressed by the quality for a fast-food restaurant. It was a little pricier than I’d like for my meal($ 3.49 for my fries) but overall the food was good and the service was relatively quick(about 15 minute wait for to-go). The portions were pretty large as well.

While I enjoyed my burger, I found the quality lacking for the price. Despite the fact that it is a burger company, they did not ask me how I would like my burger cooked, nor did they confirm the exact toppings that would come on the burger. It took about 15 – 20 minutes to get our food, and I thought my burger was a little over cooked. I still found it to be a good experience, though, because the chipotle sauce they used was excellent. I would definitely go back again, and would elevate my review if they started cooking burgers to specifications.

Food, service, atmosphere — nailed it. Their timing on opening the restaurant, however — absolute bottom of the barrel zero-star. Of all the places I’ve eaten at on Thayer Street during my Van Wilder college career, BBC definitely would have jumped towards the top of my favorites list. So it pains me that BBC didn’t open until after I had already graduated. It wasn’t until a recent reunion visit that I had the chance to try it out. Though I didn’t love waiting in line, I was happy to see how much business they were getting. It was graduation weekend after all, and I was pleasantly impressed by all the employees’ friendliness. The blue moon burger was awesome. Cooked just like I ordered, and topped with fried onions and blue cheese crumbles. Okay, so it probably wasn’t a freshly made ground beef patty, but still, I loved it. And that nutella milkshake, OoOoOwwEeEeEe that nutella milkshake. I’ve never heard«nutella» and«bad» in the same sentence, and BBC kept it that way. I would recommend using your free milkshake offer with a Unilocal check-in(!) to get it.

My boyfriend and I each ordered the Chicken Bacon Ranch Sandwich combo. It was huge and of course it’s delicious! The fries were cooked perfectly! We also ordered Mozzarella sticks which were really good too! Before we left, my boyfriend got a Chocolate milkshake. It barely made the short car ride home with any left! The staff was really nice and the place was clean. I can’t wait to return to try more.

Because they go by «Better Burger Company» i’m going to review them solely on their burger. This was the grossest burger I have eaten in recent memory. The black bean patty seems to just be back beans that are mushed together and then fried. It tastes like nothing, all you experience is texture. It also totally fell apart after two bites, but I guess thanks for anticipating that and having knives and forks next to the ketchup. The sauce on it? Super weak, wanna be guacamole. I appreciate that they offer wheat buns and have more than one vegetarian option, but it doesn’t make up for the fact that their food is not seasoned at all.

This place wasn’t bad! I got the falafel burger and it was actually really tasty! A huge patty of falafel with hummus, lettuce, and tomato. The falafel was crispy on the outside, and nice and soft on the inside. My husband’s burger while tasty, was cooked medium well(they didn’t ask, so I’m guessing this is just the standard). It probably would have been better with a little more pink in the middle. The fries were fries, nothing to write home about. I’d go back for the falafel burger though!
